Summary: Where is the end?
Review: This is the sort of story that makes you think, so if you prefer linear plots that explain themselves to the very last detail you should consider watching Bambi instead. But if you approach movies as mind boggling experiences, here is one of them for your enjoyment. Just figuring out where is the end in the movie will tantalise you until the answer is found. After finding it, there is an added excitement: to reconstruct the plot cronologically. And then to watch the film again to relish your discoveries. Thanks to the DVD technology you can do this at your own home, and if you fail to find the right answers nobody will notice. Each one of the actors is playing a part fitting perfectly to their style, María de Medeiros is my favourite here. A DVD bonus: watching the hands of Quentin Tarantino in the additional stuff!

Summary: Chock full of violence to satisfy the average American!
Review: GREAT film. The perfect blend of humor, bullets, and dark realism to make this one of the films that I am proud to put on my list of favorites. The second in the lineup of Tarrantino's shocking and cooly hip films (the first being Reservoir Dogs, which I have also reviewed) is the absolute best. Three stories that are played in no particular order and somehow link together are what make up Pulp Fiction. The first story is about a hitman, a hitman's wife, a drug dealer, and one crazy night (I am not going to give too much away!). In the second, the subject is a boxer, a crime boss, a gold watch, and a pawn shop keeper. And finally, the third, is about two hitmen, a gun, a car, brains, and a paranoid suburban guy, who somehow has a problem with storing a headless body in his garage. I know that I did not go into much detail, but I want you to enjoy the twists, turns, and suprises that make up this great movie. Not for the squeamish or easily disturbed. A rough film, no question about it, but still one of the best in history. This is one of those movies that I would give 6 stars if I could.

Review: Pulp Fiction is three compelling different stories which all slot into together to form one big one.One story revolves around Vincent (John Travolta) & Jules (Samuel L.Jackson) who are two deadly hit-men on a mission to retrieve a rather mysterious case.The second story on a boxer named Butch (Bruce Willis).And finally Pumpkin (Tim Roth) & Honey Bunny who rob licker stores and restaurants, these two are Bonnie + Clyde type characters.These three stories unbelievably fit perfectly with each other. Wriiten & directed by the king of cool Quentin Tarantino, who needs no introduction.But I'll give you one anyway.In 1992 "Reservoir Dogs" burst upon cinema screens across the world; two years later his next film "Pulp Fiction" arrived, it won an award at the Cannes Film Festival; a new film-maker had well and truely been born. This film is truely magnificient.It's so original, has a great soundtrack including "Son Of A Preacher Man", Dusty Springfield, Urge Overkill, The Revels and the list goes on.The dialogue is so cool and intriuging and they talk about absolutely...nothing.The characters talk about whatevers on their mind.The hit-men have an interesting conversation about hash bars, burgers ("You know what they call a Quarter-Pounder with cheese in Paris?") and foot massages!It's bizarre, but so unique dialogue. The characters are so suprisingly real and Jackson, Travolta and Willis give out their best performances in ages.Sam Jackson steals every scene with his super cool and smart-(...) dialogue, who is a religious hit-man.One scene to watch out for is when Travolta & Jackson arrive at an appartment to retrieve the case, before Jackson kills one of the occupants he reads out a passage from the Bible, "Ezekiel 25:17."It's so violent and brutal, it's unbelievable.Another disturbing scene is a rape scene which is clearly taken from the film "Deliverance."It involves Bruce Willis' character and Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames), this scene is dark, wild and very disturbing.There is also a "gimp" involved...enough said.You watch this scene in horror wondering how the film industry can show scenes like this.Not to mention the scene where Uma Thurman's character OD's on the floor. There is one unforgetable scene which is where Uma Thurman's character Mia and Travolta dance at "Jack Rabbit Slims Twist Contest."Travolta who hasn't danced sine "Grease" delivers a superb performance and great dance moves along with the tune "You Never Can Tell" by Chuck Berry. One thing that will bug you about the film is "what was in the case?"You never do really find out what was in the case,Quentin leaves you guessing, their is no real answer.Rumours suggest the diamonds from Resorvoir Dogs, Marcellus Wallace's soul.If you look closely at the back of his (Marcellus) neck you can see a rather nasty scar covered up with a bandage, this could be an incision where the Devil removed his soul?You never know.The only clues you get is a glow shining on Travolta's face and Tim Roth looking at it and saying "it's beautiful."I'll leave you to decide for yourself. I can't tell you how damn good this film really is.I can tell you this though, no one will ever make a film like this again.You've got sex, violence, humour, a story, if you can put all of these elements in a film your a genius, and Tarantino did.

Summary: In a word, Amazing!
Review: When people ask what my favorite movie is, I almost hate to say it's Pulp Fiction. The reason I hate to say it is because people think "whatever" as if I'm just jumping on the Pulp Fiction bandwagon and following all the people that say it's such a great movie. I don't think that's as much of a problem any more since there's probably more Tarantino/Pulp Fiction backlash than anything else now days. But, in all honesty, I thought this was an amazing film long before I knew what people would be saying about it (I saw it the day it opened and knew nothing about it... see below as to why I saw the movie in the first place) I'm sure there isn't much that needs to be said about this movie that hasn't already been said. I'm sure most people have seen it and most people know what its about. But I can say that this is the first movie that made me realize movies aren't just some people standing in front of a camera talking. I had always watched movies as pop entertainment. I never really thought about them as far as artistic matters are concerned. But, after I saw this move (again and again and again) I realized that there was more to movies than just some people standing in front of a camera and talking. I started to realize that things were done for a reason. The camera movement, camera angles, the editing, everything was done with a purpose. After seeing Pulp Fiction I became fascinated with movies. Now after all the years since its release I've learned a lot about movies and can appreciate them on another level. I see things that, until Pulp Fiction got me interested in movies, I would have missed. So, thanks to Pulp Fiction I have a great appreciation for movies... as entertainment and now as art as well. Now, when I re-watch movies that I had seen before, I can watch them with a new appreciation and understanding. Just to illustrate how little I knew about movies and how I only viewed them as pop entertainment and nothing more... the only reason I went to see Pulp Fiction movie when it first opened was because Bruce Willis was in it. Not that there is anything wrong with Bruce Willis, but I'm sure you know the type of movie he is known for (heck, it was even mocked by Robert Altman and Bruce himself in "The Player."). Those were the movies I liked because they had a lot of explosions and excitement. I didn't know what a truly great movies was before Pulp Fiction. So that is why Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie and one of the best movies I've ever seen. If you haven't seen it... which I doubt since I think everybody has seen it by now, then you need to see this movie.

Summary: One of the Greatest Movies
Review: If you want a action, adventure, and comedy; this is the movie to own. This is one of the most funny movies. I'm not going to spoil it for anybody that hasn't watched it but, you'll want to own it and watch it again and again and again. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR GO BUY IT AND WATCH IT. OR RENT IT FIRST AND THEN BUY IT.

Review: Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction is a can't miss film. It has everything you could want. Creative plot layout along with actors such as John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson is what makes Pulp Fiction great. Pulp fiction has an un-sequential time line that won't leave you feeling lost. Basically you have three different stories throughout the film. You have two hit men (Travolta and Jackson), Two Crazy robbers (Amanda Plummer and Tim Roth) and a mentally troubled boxer (Bruce Willis). You will laugh, cringe and be amazed during the over dramatic situations these characters come across. Weird scenes do arise at times but that's Tarentino's style. Don't let that give you a bad preconceived judgement. I highly recommend this film to anyone over seventeen.

Review: this was the best movie i have ever seen. I personally thought this was more violent than Reservoir Dogs,(although RD is more graphic) but seeing this movie has truly touched me for some reason. It just never gets old!?

Summary: you lay with matches, you get burned
Review: What should I tell you 'bout this oustanding movie???
Well, I think, Pulp Fiction is one of the greatest movies ever made, not only because of what I call "funny brutality" (like blowing someones head away without even wanting to) but of its' cool dialogues and even cooler characters. the none-linear story-line is just another thing making this movie extraordinary and seeing John Travolta dance the way he does is one of maybe a hundred matters for buying, watching and, of course, loving it.

Summary: So what?...
Review: I must have missed something because I found this movie pointless and boring. There is nothing likeable about any of these characters and there is no redeeming quality about any of them either. At no point in the movie are you given a reason to care whether or not any of these characters die. At no point does the movie reveal any aspect of the human condition. The only redeeming quality of the movie is the cast and some of the dialogue. There is even some good acting (but don't look to Uma Therman for it). At the end of the movie I was left with a profound feeling of..."So what?"

Summary: Truly Outstanding
Review: At certain points in time, i tend to watch all movies and find out about a particular director. I went from the Farellys to the Coens to Kevin Smith etc, but when i randomly uncovered the talent of Quentin Tarantino, my searching stopped. The way in which this movie is pieced together, by starting and ending in the same scene just forces you to turn off the television with a smile on your face. There's so much witty dialogue to pick p here it's well worth your money buying it just so you can watch it over and over again. As far as movie influences go, i think i would be safe to say that this definitely ranks as one of the top 20 most influencial movies of all time, and i can see how. Althoguh this movie might be seen as offensive in certain scenes (drug antidote scene), it must be seen, even by the squeemish. These will be the best 150 minutes of movie watching you will spend.
