Summary: Finally a cult classic
Review: Husdon Hawk suffered mercilessly at the hands of critics on its theatrical release, and after the press junket even the director and supporting cast were happy to trash it. Despite the dreck he's put his name to since, I think Richard E. Grant still holds up his hands in horror at the mention of it. Hardly surprising, then, that it has the reputation of a big-budget bomb. I saw it at the movies and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not long ago I spotted it as the most frequently repeated title in a DVD forum poll of films the critics panned but we really enjoyed. I bought the tape on first release and while I'm sure I watched it then I know it's just been gathering dust for about 8 years. To cut a long story short I had teenagers to entertain over the weekend, so I dusted it off and enjoyed it all over again. I'd forgotten how idiosynchratic, brilliantly surreal and utterly brutal it is. The action is bone-crunching Looney Tunes excess, a better live action cartoon than all the Roger Rabbit remake misfires we've seen in the last 5 years. James Coburn is excellent value as 2nd villain, and movie buffs can spot the other references to his classic character Derek Flint - 10 years before Austin Powers 2! If nothing else can make you see the brilliant, intelligent, fractured reality of the story, check the moment at the end of an impossible, improbable, horrifically nightmarish ambulance ride when a character hands the Hawk a card which says "This isn't a dream".

Summary: One of the funniest movies!!
Review: Some people that make comedie - action flicks can really learn something from this one!

It'll keep you laughing till the end (and after).. Bruce is really a genius when it comes to acting! And the script, charaters are just fantastic! This is just one of my favourite movies!

Hudson is just released from prison and he isn't planning to steal stuff. But because he is the best the "bad guys" want him to steal something da vinci made that can make gold!! The rest is for you to see! But it's just so funny! All Hudson wants to do is to drink his coffee!!

Enjoy this one

Summary: Don't believe it!
Review: This movie is hilarious! The reviewers were just in a bad mood, or maybe their hemorrhoids were flaring up, because they were flat wrong about this flick! I mean, who but Bruce W. can sing "Swingin' on a Star" and still look cool?

Summary: It's all froth.
Review: Off the wall, funny, bizarre and surprisingly different, Hudson Hawk combines the best bits of Moonlighting with Die Hard action to create one of the best (and certainly most memorable) films that Bruce Willis has every made. I challenge you to watch it without humming Swingin on a Star for days afterwards!

Summary: Underrated Gem of a film
Review: I'll admit, I was skeptical. A friend of mine swore that I would love this movie and I doubted it heavily. Whenever my wife and I would visit him he would offer to throw in his DVD of Hudson Hawk and we would beg off, claiming anything from work to do at home to severe stomach cramps. That's how badly we wanted to avoid this film.

One rainy Tuesday afternoon, during my third month of unemployment this friend of mine and I went out for lunch and some DVD shopping. After finishing up we went back to his house and kicked back. He made his usual attempt to convince me to watch Hudson Hawk and for some reason known only to God and the demons that live in my subconscious I said yes. It was one of my most enjoyable movie experiences ever.

It's almost impossible to put into words why I like this movie. It totally defies definition. It is a screwball comedy with a crime caper at it's center and a Secret Service Nun as it's femme fatale. The music is fun and fits well into the pace and scheme of the movie and the running cappucino gag is lame and contrived yet amazingly fun.

It is really an experience that has to be enjoyed first hand. Go out and rent this film if you can. I would just advise buying it outright. It's cheap enough and you won't be disappointed.

Now I just have to find a night when my wife isn't that busy or suffering gastric distress so she can enjoy it too.

Summary: Almost Believed The Hype
Review: My love of this movie began when I was home alone channel sufing. Stumbling across this film on UPN, I checked my Trusty TV Guide and found they only gave it one star. I decided to do a MST3K on this apparently rotten film. I Was unable to do so because there was one small problem. This film is the most convoluted, twisted, Hitchcokian piece of Funny stuff I've ever seen. Being of Fan of totally random stuff, I was over whelmed by the randomness of this film. A butler has Knives spring out of his Arms. Bruce willis ( as Hudson) and Danny Allieo time a burgarly with a rendition of "Swingin on a Star" The pope watches Mr. Ed. And THrough it all, Hudson just wants a coffee. You see the McGuffin of this film may be Da Vinci's Book of Fun & games, but the real driving force in this film is Hudson's coffee. This movie has many one-liners that I can say to my friends and they have absolutly no idea wher it comes from. Many other reviews talk about A Deus Ex Machina ending. I have no idea what tha is really, but the end, the beginning and yes eventhe middle are full of great stuff. Dont Listen to critics! in Some fashion. everyone should see a portion of this underated classic.

Summary: Ive seen this movie a hundred times!! Always a great laugh!
Review: Talk about a great movie this one has it all. The bad guys, the girl, the CIA, the Catholic Church, bank robberies, the mob, what more can you ask then to have Bruce Willis and Andie Mac Dowell star in it. In my mind you have to have one liners if you want to be remembered and this one has plenty of them. If you are a Bruce Willis fan you will not be disappointed!!

Summary: A movie that refuses to take itsself seriously!
Review: Hudson Hawk is one of those rare gems that comes out of Hollywood that I find completely hillarious because it refuses to act like a serious movie. I liken it to movies like Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Kuffs; they move quickly from scene to goofy scene with only a loose plot-line and one-liners to tie them together.

If you're looking for a Oscar award-winning movie that redefines human nature and brings us all together into one peaceful nation, this is NOT it. But if you are looking for side-aching laughs, give this movie a try.

Summary: Buried Treasure
Review: Dear Viewers.....

Once again, the talents and far reaching range of Mr. Bruce Willis go unlauded. Can this man make a bad movie????? He cannot. For those of you that miss the skills, comedic timing and killer twinkle in his eye......I say, ... to be you.

Watch and learn, watch and learn.
