Summary: This Movie Is No Heartbreaker
Review: "Heartbreakers" stars Sigourney Weaver, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ray Liotta, Gene Hackman, and others. This is a great comedy for all ages. Its humor keeps its viewers laughing during and after watching. Its theme of a woman who cons many men offers many interesting twists and turns, always keeping everyone interested. Such theme takes a big turn when her daughter begins sliding away from her for a man, whom she truly falls in love with. The suspense builds as her most recent ex-husband searches for her. The writers are brilliant. The actors offer their own humor. Sigourney Weaver performs her role as the con artist wonderfully. Her fake russian accent can fool anyone. Her performance of "Back In the USSR" almost lives up to the original Beatles version. Gene Hackman's role as her latest victim is hilarious. The smoke constantly blowing out of his mouth and his nostrils gives the movie its own flamboyance. Everyone else also acts their roles wonderfully. "Heartbreakers" is a great comedy for those looking for a laugh fest. This unforgettable experience will not disappoint its viewers. Those wanting more should also watch the special features. They have many interesting clips: deleted scenes (including Weaver's full performance of "Back In the USSR"), interviews, behind the scenes footage, and more.

Review: This is a very seductive and sexy movie. JLH is one hot babe in this movie! Her and Sigourney Weaver play tricks on men for their money. It is sad and hearbreaking. I love the movie overall though. Especially becaue JLH is such a babe. I love you Jennifer! Rent this movie or buy you will love it!

Summary: Zero likeable characters
Review: This movie was agonizing to watch. We watch as Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt romance and then betray men to earn money, all for the ol' cliche "I don't believe in love" routine. Of course, as predicted, they find men they really love. But even then, the man Jennifer Love Hewitt falls for is treated like a wet towel and properly betrayed, and then we're supposed to feel sorry when Jennifer Love Hewitt feels guilty about it later. We are even supposed to feel sorry for Sigourney Weaver when its revealed she set the man up.Basically, this is the story of two greedy women. Our heroes, ladies and gentlemen... One other note: I do not want to see Sigourney Weaver in sexual conditions. I nearly threw up seeing her in a tight shirt and panties in "Alien," there's no way in hell I want to see her in a nighty.

Review: this movie is a pile of junk for its story but to see Hackman, Jason Lee and Ray Liotta in this one is a surprise, but they are the glue that holds this catastrophe together. Hewitt seems like her breasts are bigger than her brain(that would please my friend Dustin because hes madly in love with the woman). the part where Liotta shoots the gun in the water is great

Review: Heartbreakers (2001) Sigourney Weaver, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Gene Hackman, Ray Liotta, Jason Lee, Anne Bancroft, Jeffrey Jones, Nora Dunn, Julio Oscar Mechoso, Ricky Jay, Sarah Silverman, D: David Mirkin. Lengthy but funny comedy about mother-and-daughter con artists who first lure him to the altar as the other lures him into temptation, and then a divorce settlement leaves the women with the money. The cast looks to be having a good time, which can get your mind off some of the spotty humor; Hackman is at his most repulsive as the ladies' newest target, a wheezing, filthy-rich tobacco tycoon. Running Time: 123 minutes and rated PG-13 for sex related content including dialogue.

Review: "Heartbreakers" isn't a great movie because of its plot - because lets face it, it gets a little ludicrous at times - but because of its talent. Weaver and Hackman are hysterical as a con woman and her latest victim. And Ray Liotta gives one of his finer performances as a sleazy car dealer who's trying to track Weaver down, if not for love than certainly for revenge.
Jennifer Love Hewitt is, surprisingly decent here. Although this part isn't too much of a stretch - a self-absorbed beauty who's trying desperately to make it from wannabe to professional. And she never does succeed. Hmmm... Still, she manages to hold her own in a cast of considerable talent.
Buy it, watch it, and be prepared for a LOT of jiggle.

Review: A couple of scam artists working a deal and one falls in love. A obvious plot but a good cast and some funny moments. Mom - Sigourney - is content to to stay with the lawless life style and daughter - Jenifer - is ready to quit. Sigourney Weaver, Ray Liota, and Gene Hackman; these are professional actors that make the most of any story. You should find something worthwhile in this film. Reading the reviews it seems everybody has their favorite actor, for me it was Gene Hackman. He is the tobacco wealthy target of Mom and Daughter Sigourney Weaver and Jenifer Love Hewitt and he will show you why you should not be smoking. From his stained teeth, nicotine yellow fingers, to his hack-hack he is absolutely disgusting. He is funny because you always know it is Gene Hackman playing a role. Not a great film but worth watching and Amazon has it for less than .... Such a deal!

Review: How tired I am of reading people saying how HOT Jennifer Love Hewitt looks in this movie. Yes, it is very true, but this is really not enough to be called a MOVIE, but perhaps a skin-flick in disguise. Hewitt parades her body and performs actions that should have given this movie an "R" rating, and not PG-13. Though they may not SHOW all of the sexual acts, they are certainly not subtle, and think about it, should a 13-year-old really be watching and emulating such acts? I certainly hope not. I gave this movie 2 stars because I had a few laughs and did enjoy the ending. Oh, and yeah, I'm a male and I certainly enjoyed the Hewitt views, but if you're a sex-starved male looking for some young skin I'm sure there are other movies out there that may satisfy your cravings even more, so I add, what really was the point?
