Summary: I liked the first movie but this was just not funny!
Review: Well I like Jim Carrey fan and I liked Ace Ventura Pet Detective, that movie was funny and being a Star Trek fan I loved Jim Carrey's hysterical imitation of William Shatner's Captain James T. Kirk but When Nature Calls just wasn't funny, I think I laughed once and that was it, well actually it was more like a mild chuckle instead of a gut busting laugh!

Summary: Funny at times but doesn`t have the True Spirit of the first
Review: When Ace (Jim Carrey) lost a Raccoon from trying to rescuering the animal from a plane crash in a mountain (Spoofs Cliffhanger). Then months later... someone has stolen a Scared Bat but Ace hates Bats, the only living thing, he`s hates. His mission is go to Africa to find it but Ace gets a lot of trouble from there going on Mayhem all the way.The film suffers a weak plot but it`s has some good numour, here and there. Much more crude than the Original. This was One of the Biggest Hits of 1995. Written & Directed by Steve Oedekerk (Nothing to Lose, Kung Pow:Enter the Fist, Kung Pow 2:Tongue of Fury). Super 35. Grade:B-.

Summary: I wish I wish they'd let us give 0 stars
Review: I was trapped on a bus while viewing Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, and so couldn't get up and leave. However even the thought of diving into freeway traffic seemed less painful than sitting through one more second of this teeth-grindingly bad film. The shocker was that it was actually LESS funny than I thought it would be. If you like great comedy; Blazing Saddles...Naked Gun...Airplane...Spinal Tap...DO NOT watch this movie. Jim Carrey is a talentless hack who has the charm of a root canal and the intelligence of tapioca pudding. He stomps from scene to scene, yelling and gesticulating through a minimal plot (I'd say laughable but we should be so lucky to laugh at ANYTHING in this movie) and no character. You could go to the mall and watch a 4-year old do this for free. And know that he didn't get paid to do it. All movie stars are overpaid but when Jim Carrey makes a film the world should weep for the millions of starving children his salary could feed. And after that, they should be treated to some REAL comedic talents.

Summary: The Sequel
Review: Yes, it is a sequel, and it isn't as good as the first. It doesn't make as much sense as the first one, BUT it's still almost as hilarious. Jim Carrey might even be crazier in this one! The features in the DVD are alright, and the movie is good to own if you want to complete your collection, and of course, you like Jim Carrey and/or just want to have a good time.

Review: Ace Ventura was certainly a film that deserved a sequel. Ace Ventura 2 provides pleanty of opportunity for Jim to dispay his unique skill for causing chaos where ever he goes on his trip to Africa. If you liked the first Ace Ventura film you're bound to love this sequel. I'm impressed with Jim's performance but as a film, the story line hasn't been driven to heights of genius.

Review: I love Jim Carrey movies, but this one was too silly and weird. I mean hes a Pet Detective...what is he doing in the jungle, you don't need pets in the jungle for crying out loud. The story was very weird and not funny....I mean what happened to Ace's dog? Well if Jim Carrey makes a 3rd sequal....I hope he gets a better script, because this one was a bore!

Review: This movie will make you laugh from start to credits. Although not as good as the first, this movie is still better than most. In this Carrey is more off-the-wall than the first which is what most people like in comedy. From the longest slinky run in history to wrestling alligators, this movie is completely nuts... and I like it that way!
