Summary: Funny, but pass the popcorn.
Review: I enjoyed this film. I would not, however, call this a "must see." Crystal was dead-on, which surprised me. I am not his biggest fan. This was not one of De Niro's best performances. When serious, his performance is adequate. His crying scenes were awkward at best. The performance went so over the top, I was at certain points expecting him to break character, and turn the scenes into a put-on. Director Harold Ramis has a long and respected comedy dossier, but some parts of the film fell into a sit-com of predictability. Unfortunately, we have "The Soprano's" as a reference at this point, which hurts this film and makes me wish this film had tried to achieve more. I saw the film last night, and will screen it again for good measure, but I wouldn't say this film brushed "Stripes" or "Ghostbusters" territory.

Review: Robert de Niro at his best as head of the Vitti family with some mental health problems. Crystal plays pretty good as the shrink trying to help Vitti overcome his problems. Great movie, with subtle humor. Buy it!!!!!

Summary: Funniest film in years!
Review: I've never laughed so much in years. It was a film to see more than once. I disagree that this was a "mob" movie. This was a great spoof on self-help and psychotherapy in the late part of the twentieth century. It was witty and full of psychological buzz words and situations. De Niro and Crystal were both wonderful and you grow to love the mobster and to understand his view of life. I can't support him but I understand!

Review: This movie is just great! If you haven't seen it yet, go rent it! It would really suprise you! De Niro is so funny in this movie, especially when he has his emotional moments. One minute he's crying like a baby and the next minute, he gets all nuts! He shoots a pillow just cause he's mad! It might sound kinda dumb, but it's really funny. And even if you aren't a mob movie fan, this is one great comedy. Soon to be a classic! I'm sure that "You...you..." is gonna rank up there with DeNiro's other famous quotes "You talkin' to me?" and "I heard things" and "Lil' bit." SEE IT!!!

Review: This movie is an excellent example of how good and actor Robert De Niro is, and how good of a comedian that Billy Crystal in, with some of the greatest lines in comedy film, this movie approaches movies like GOODFELLAS and 'slaps on a happy face'

Review: From the very beginning to the last moment, this movie provides consistent laughs, with each one louder than the last. De Niro does a brilliant job of lampooning himself, but major kudos go to Crystal, who finally gets out of his funk to deliver the best role he's had since the first "City Slickers." Watch for the "Godfather" dream sequence, and the church scene after that. An instant classic...

Review: This has got to be the funniest movies I have ever seen! Itdeserves a 5+ star rating. The cast is perfect, this goes hand in handwith the a great plot. It's mixture of fun and action, EVERYONE I am sure will love. I pre-ordered my dvd copy and can't wait for it. The gag reel, will definitly be entertaining, I'm sure of it!!!

Summary: Any patient would be cured by it
Review: This movie is not only an extremely well ploted film; it is smart, funny, as well as dramatic. Anyone who has ever been involved with a "doctor" will picture him/her on this mob 50's crisis. Every doctor should have a copy in the office, it would save a lot of time, and the treatment would be funnier. I loved the way Cristal personifies his role, but De Niro makes you cry on laughs again and again, specially with his Edipo's complex discusions.
