Summary: Dignan is one of the best characters ever
Review: A friend of mine said "you have to watch the funniest movie ever" and he was right the comic timing is odd, yet hilarious, Dignan is a heartbreakingingly pathetic person, played to perfection by Owen Wilson. JAMES CAAN! great casting, Dignan makes this better than Rushmore, although Bill Murray was great. A must see!@

Review: I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I AM IN. NO GANG!!! This has to be the best movie that i have ever seen. from futureman to kumar to amigo, this flick is a indie classic. i can't get enough of dignan and his plan, "Living into the 21st Century". waiting patiently for bottlerocket II....

Review: hollywood has redeamed itself to me through this movie. it is witty and funny. luke wilson who plays dignin has to be one of the most loveable jerks i have seen in a long time. it is fine holiday fun. and could you believe how many of the Wilson brothers were in the movie!

Summary: Beats 99% Of The Crap That's On The Market
Review: This movie is so unique. It avoids cliches at almost every turn. The formal speech styles of the low-caliber criminals give the film an ironic, appealing texture, but not in annoying way like Quentin Tarantino's films. Like Rushmore, Bottle Rockets makes excellent use of rock songs in its soundtrack. The film's atmosphere is feel-good and awe-inspiring, but not in a manipulative Hollywood way. The older brother who picks on his 26-year-old younger brother is classic; it reminds me of Chet in "Weird Science" (an entirely different film, however). It's too bad I'm praising Bottle Rockets mostly by saying what it's not, but I am so disappointed by mass market cinema that I can't help it.

Review: Having seen this movie long before Rushmore was even in the thearters, I had high hopes for Rushmore. However, Rushmore was missing one very important thing, OWEN WILSON. He is what makes this movie better than Rushmore. If there is a reason that he is not a bigger star, I have not found it.

Review: So I rented this after loving Rushmore so much. I didn't think very much of it the first time around, it made me laugh but I thought that it wasn't up to Rushmore standards. Then my friend decides he wants to see it and even after I tell him it isn't that worth it he rents it. Well I almost wet myself I was laughing so hard. The humor is so subtle you really have to pay attention. This IS NOT a movie for anyone, this is a movie for people who want to really pay attention to detail. If you didn't like Rushmore or Coen Brother movies (Big Lebowski, Fargo, Raising Arizona) you won't like this but if you do then you will concur with me when I say that this was the funniest movie that I have EVER seen. If at first you don't get it try again...Anderson/Wilson are the best and Kumar will be a star someday...

Summary: Weird, doesn't go anywhere, but oddly amusing
Review: Luke Wilson (Home Fries) stars in this wacky tale of 3 idiot would-be theives. It's like dumb and dumber turn to crime. Some of the jokes are funny, like when they are at a motel and yelling back and forth from the balcony to the pool about how they need to hide their identity. An interesting turn comes when hiding out at that same motel, Luke's character discovers a beautiful maid from Paraguay. He falls instantly in love with her even though they don't speak the same language. I would have liked this story to progress further, but instead the trio leave to go on to further theivery. The DVD itself is barren. No trailer, no featurette, no commentary, not even cast bios. It was something to watch anyway, and these eccentric characters are amusing.
