Dan Futterman and Stuart Townsend is wonderful. The characters are fresh and original and my daughter and I laughed all the way through it. This is a clean movie with only a few curse words. Dan Futterman is gorgeous and Stuart Townsend even though playing a shy electronics nerd is irresistable as usual. A must see for any fan of one of these two men.

Review: This is one of my favorite movies! It is smart, charming, funny and very sweet. If there's a real Jez out there, someone let me know. I'm sad it didn't get more attention than it did. Excellent film!

Summary: Great comedy!
Review: This movie is a light-hearted comedy, so don't come into it expecting a master "oeuvre." Take it for what it is. That said, this is one of the best comedies of the past 10 years. The writing is extremely smart, and all three principal actors use their considerable talents to lend real depth to characters, which is quite unusual for comedies, especially American ones, which tend to stick to slapstick or cheap gags. Be aware that this is a Brit flick, so you Americans shouldn't be shocked by the accents, etc. (that does tend to unsettle a portion of American viewers). If you're a thinking person and need a solid belly laugh, you simply could not pick a better light-hearted comedy than Shooting Fish. Dan, Kate, and Stuart are a fantastic ensemble. Do NOT miss this comedy! This movie will most assuredly be appreciated more as time goes by.

Review: Two fun-loving seemingly selfish con-artists hire a gorgeous young girl (Kate Bekinsale) as their assistant. Only one problem, she is an honest person and wasn't informed of their dishonest exploits. This film is hysterical, romantic and tugs at your heartstrings. Filmed beautifully in England's countryside and "Hard Days Night" like scenes in London. This film is an grand romp and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a laugh

Summary: Fun Flick
Review: Very enjoyable British comedy with likeable, attractive, and (except for Beckinsale) relatively unknown leads. This is a silly,fun, sappy movie, that sags slightly about 3/4 of the way through, but the film is so full of comic ideas, and paced so rapidly, that it is hard to express much reservation. The leads work brilliantly together, and it will be interesting to see where they go from here.

The story is about 2 "nice" con men,who are saving up for a mansion,to compensate them for being orphans as children.When a beautiful lady (kate beckinsale) comes on the scene,they find another project to work on,this time a personal one.The film progresses to show how conmen can indeed be conned themselves.
A must see film,with a spectacular soundtrack.you wont be dissapointed.

Review: Well, it brightens my day anyway. There is something about the winning combination of lovable leading characters and a goodies versus baddies theme, that leaves you (well, me at any rate) with a warm satisfied feeling. A feeling that everything is right and just in the world. Whenever I need cheering up I turn to this film and it delivers. If you like feeling good, then watch and just feel happy!

Review: When I saw "Shooting Fish" not too long ago, I found it very enjoyable and funny, etc. And I also found Kate Beckinsale's character attractive and very sweet, and I like that in her. And also, Dan Futterman and Stuart Townsend were outstanding as well. To me, "Shooting Fish" is not a cut-to-the-chase kind of film. It describes each character from his/her past to where they are now. But still, it is very, very funny and that anyone on this website should take the time to see it one day.
