Review: Having only just watched it for the first time it certainly blows your socks off. Way ahead of it's time i feel. Marvellous work by a marvellous man. Kubrick deserves all the credit for a quite dazzling film. Must be seen by all.

Review: This is one of the few movies that is visual theater. Just sit back and let all the images and sounds spill over you. Kubrick uses violent scenes that should revolt you, while playing light ballet music in contrast. John Anthony Burgess Wilson wrote the novel in a hybrid slang language that is great fun to wade through and learn. This movie only touches on that but that's ok, because it is one of the great classics of the big screen. The third time you watch this, look at all the paintings and scenery that you don't usually notice. Everything is coreographed, like 2001 was. Perfect. When the DVD comes out, I'll buy it, but I will have to watch it alone, because of the graphic violence - and I NEVER like violent movies. This is just that good. Six stars - with a warning.

Review: A Clockwork Orange is one of the most thought provoking films of all time(only equal with Kubrick's own 2001: A Space Odyssey). Although the film is not for people who can't stand being shocked. You must see it, if you haven't already.

Summary: A Clockwork Orange is top notch!
Review: A Clockwork Orange is nothing short of one of the most fantastic movies of all time. Its premise is dark, brooding, yet all too realistic. A gang of thugs out of control, led by Alex (the main character), is warped by visions of rape and violence by which they rule the streets. Suddenly, the leader is under State arrest and there is a plan to "cure" him of his dementia. The plan involves psychoanalytic therapy, a "good 'ol dose of his own medicine", so to speak. Forced to view movies depicting the same violence he brought upon others, young Alex seems cured.. but is he?? That's where the fun begins in ACO, a raucous, shocking, intelligent, vibrant, and potent film that leaves you with more questions than answers. Never have I seen a film so original and so unnerving at the same time. This is definitely a classic, even if it remains to be "unknown" by the general movie population (snubbed at the Oscars in '71). I saw this when I was 9 years old, read the original novel at age 10, and have yet to see a movie come close to its impact (some 15 years later and counting...)

Review: This is a movie that everyone needs to see at least one time (anyone who can handle bizarre movies). This classic is the benchmark of all surrealistic movies. Outstanding performance!!

Review: I could describe this movie to you all day. It wouldn't do any good. You have to see it for yourself. Most people find it too disturbing and visually painful. I've watched over 40 times and love it more each time I see it. In my eyes, nothing could EVER dethrone this movie. It has a better plot, acting, directing and special effects than anything I've ever seen. The music is beautiful. Almost as beautiful as the directing of Stanley Kubrick. Any of you holy-roller bible-thumpers out there that find this repulsive can go screw yourselves. It should be seen as THE most beautiful work of art ever made.
