movie as 'Natural born killers' or 'Hannibal'. I hate
when producers try to dress
violence addressed to our lowest instincts as something
intelligent.
I've borrowed this movie from a friend. I did not like it at all.
First there was too much violance in the movie, much more than necessary for the plot. And contrary to e.g. "Pulp fiction"
where I did see the purpose - here I did not and I simply
felt sick after that.
The final nail for me were the final scenes remininding September
11. I will never watch this movie again.

Summary: Weird Movie!!!
Review: This movie make no sence at all, it's very boring. Edward Norton act like a weak, coward guy and he look very sick, Brad Pitt act like a macho brat, I find more tolerable the acting performance of Norton then Pitt. Norton was much better in the movie "American History X", I think he should stick to theses kind of roles and loose the weak one who make him look like a coward. You may like this movie if you like lots of violence, lots of blood and a boring story. At the end the movie make more sence, well a little bit but it's still very boring and another "Cliché American Movie" that people will say it's cool because big names are in it, well even if "Movie Stars" are in a boring movie it's doesn't make the movie great, well not to me!

Summary: My Eyes Are Open!!!!!!!
Review: There is no doubt about the fact that FIGHT CLUB is one the best films ever made. It is completely crazy. I have never read the novel, but this movie has got me thinking about MAYBE starting sometime in the near future. I heard that are differences between the novel and the motion picture and I am interested in finding some of them. The movie is one of my favorites. It is funny, dramatic, suspensful, and action-packed. Although I can't guarantee that you'll love it. I think that the characters are great. Edward Norton's character is stuck and is looking for a way to change his life and he may have found when he meets Tyler Durden (Pitt). They beat each other and then start FIGHT CLUB. It was a way for people to make their lives more exciting and unpredictable. There are lots of people who join that are also stuck. They have eight very specific simple rules. Although the first two were broken very easily. They have homework assignments, but FIGHT CLUB was never designed to hurt anyone. But when one of the one of members is killed during an assignment Norton's character finds that it goes deeper than just FIGHT CLUB. Is this too much? Find out for yourself. A film with a great ending and great structure, this is perfect.

Summary: Open Your Mind!
Review: This is an excellent movie(usually classified as a "guy" movie)that can possibly open up your mind to what previously might have been invisible to you. Brad Pitt is excellent in it and so is Ed Norton, I did not like Helena Carter in this. Its definitley a revolutionary type movie and I thought David Fincher did an excellent job directing it(as always)and I reccomend anyone watch it that likes action in their movies and like watching movies w/a message!

Summary: The gritty side of male spirituality
Review: Yes, you read that right; I think this movie demonstrates an aspect of "male spirituality." I believe we live in a society that has taken all meaning out of pain and that accentuates the escape from pain, and the acquisition of pleasure, as being the greatest objective of a man's life. A great deal of self-esteem can be gained when a man confronts, accepts, owns, and is not ashamed of his pain. The self-esteem gained from "owning" one's pain can be so great that it has spiritual connotations. When I first heard about this movie, I thought it would be a mindless slugfest along the lines of TV wrestling and I therefore had no intention of seeing it. It was not until meeting Chuck Palahniuk, the author of FIGHT CLUB, at a booksigning for Susan Faludi's STIFFED that I resolved to see this movie. I was stunned! This movie really is not about violence. It is about one man's journey of self-discovery and his quest to own himself and come to terms with the "darker" aspects of his personality, symbolized by the fight scenes.

Summary: This film rocks!
Review: This film is amazing. When I first saw the trailers I expected some macho attempt to satirize the political correctness of the 90's. Instead it goes much deeper. It evolves from a editorial on modern materialism to a true psycologial odyssey. It's definately not to everyone's taste, but if you like dark satire with hints of humor along with an unpredictable, twisting plot, this film is for you.

Summary: I am starting my own Fight Club
Review: The first time I saw this movie was in my senior year of high school. I'm a little bit older and wiser and after watching it over 100 times, I still find little intricate details that make the movie one of the best of all time. We are introduced to a so-called "Fight Club" with an overworked, underplayed insomniac, played by Edward Norton, and his spontaneous, hot, free living friend, Tyler Durden, played by Brad Pitt. They meet under crazy circumstances, on a plane where Tyler describes why people's faces are so calm on the flight safety cards, and they end on insane ones as well. I can easily say that the movie does not have one bit of happy-go-lucky kind of scenes. Even the music in the background, provided by the Dust Brothers, brings the darkness to this movie and the backdrop of the ultimate "Fight Club." So what's in store when watching the movie? Nothing but blank stares and confused minds. Believe me, its confusing the first time. However, that is the essence of "Fight Club." It keeps you watching more and more to understand what the hell David Fincher wanted to bring out from the movie and its characters. The plots twists and turns are only the beginning to this insomniac's dream turned into a nightmare and how he escapes that reality is the best part of the film. Maybe you'll leave the TV with a bored mind or one that will start a Fight Club of your own. You never know.

Summary: This movie is great
Review: Brad Pitt's character (Tyler Durden) actually turns out to be the same guy as Edward Norton's character (Jack/Narrator). Tyler is a construct of Jacks mind, basically, Jack is a schizo. Tyler is everything Jack wants to be, so at the end you basically find this out. So what, the ending it ruined, but it's still a kickass movie. Go rent it!

Review: This is one insane movie. I think it takes an insane person to even make a movie like this. It starts out really dull. Edward Norton's voice over is incredibly annoying. The movie picks up as soon as he meets Brad Pitt. But then the movie goes from entertaining to absolutely crazy! Norton and Pitt start a fight club. The members of fight club turn into a gang and vandalize the neighborhood. Quickly after that, the fight club has members all over the country and has turned into more of an army. The army's goal is to blow up the buildings of the major credit card companies. The cops don't care because they are part of this terrorist organization. In the end you find out that there is no Brad Pitt. If you want to know why you'll have to see the movie. Anyway, this is like a movie version of the Twilight Zone and I loved it.
