Rating: Summary: Move over Bart Simpson, here comes Junior Healy! Review: Problem Child is an all time fun movie to watch. Micheal Oliver does a tremendous job playing Junior Healy, a devilish child who creates chaos for particularly no reason at all. Even as a child, he placed under the door steps of many familys because nobody wants him. Even in the orphanage, the nuns want to get rid of him and threaten one of their employees , Mr. Peabody (Gilbert Godfred who happens to be a huge loud mouth like Chris Tucker), to make sure it gets done or he gets fired.Anyway, the story is also about a couple by the name of Flo (Amy Yasbeck) and "little Ben" Healy who really want a child. Flo is a real pain in the neck and Ben's dad ,"BIG Ben" healy, totally hates him. studies have shown it can't be possible for them to give birth to a child but they can adopt one. Mr. Peabody tricks them into thinking that junior is a good boy and that is just the beggining. Junior makes things a living hell and at the same time junior's "hero" ,Martin Beck (Micheal Richards) who happens to be wanted criminal, wants to find JR and be partners in crime with him because he thinks junior is an x-con. This movie will bring you lots of laughs. This is one movie you can't miss. If you thought kids like Dennis Mitchell (Dennis the Menace kid)or Bart Simpson were america's #1 brats, well think again because this movie just might change your mind. Buy this because it is going to be worth it!

Rating: Summary: Funny Movie about a juvenile delinquent Review: Real funny movie with Kramer from Seinfeld as a convict. Great laughs
Rating: Summary: "We've adopted Satan!" Review: This B-grade movie stared John Ritter and Amy Yasbeck as two yuppie parents who decide to adopt after finding out they cannot have kids of their own.
At the local Catholic orphanage, they get Junior, and are oblivious to the nuns high-fiving each other as he leaves the premises with his new family.
Even the naive Healy's eventually wake up and recognize that Junior is far from being an angel. Correspondence with a prison inmate (who escapes and kidnaps Junior) is only one of his misadventures in this film.
A little league game becomes ruined when Junior decides to play it 'his way'; Junior is mad that people think his father is a 'dork' and are calling him 'son of dork'. Ben Healy Senior (Jack Warden) becomes upset when Junior crashes the family car into his sporting goods store and helps derail his political ambitions.
Eventually, Little Ben Healy (Ritter) decides that the only way to reach his son is to love him no matter what. Because this unconditional love was a new experience for Junior, he was initially suspicious, but later grew to love his father. Flo Healy (Yasbeck) is disposed of on a trailer truck of farm animals to who knows where at the end of the move.
This movie obviously didn't have a big budget behind it, but it is hilarious for a 'family/children's movie. The music selections and Ritter's sadly underappreciated comedic timing add to the story charm. I had liked this when I was little, but completely cracked up with laughter when I saw it the other night.
Rating: Summary: 2nd best film ever made (the best being problem child 2) Review: This film is pure brilliance I watch it over and over again and never get sick of it. I do the same with problem child 2 + 3. It is about a boy who is adopted but is very evil. It is hilarious but it will influence young children to copy. I love this film. Problem child 2 is even more funnier and better and the best film ever made. The evil boy - Junior, is played by michael oliver and one of the main reasons problem child 1 + 2 are so good is because of his acting. The mischevous smile on his face is what makes these films so excellent. I SERIOUSLY ADVISE YOU TO BUY THIS FILM AND IF YOU CAN BUY THE OTHER PROBLEM CHILDS TOO. IT WILL BE THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU WILL EVER MAKE.
Rating: Summary: Excellent movie, but NO DELETED SCENES?! Review: This is easily one of the funniest movies I have ever seen (I admit, it's stupid, but that doesn't mean it's not funny!) It tells the story of Junior, an unloved orphan who is VERY short tempered. This makes for some of the most funny scenes ever seen in a film. When one of his temporary foster parents destroys his favorite toys, he knocks over the house. When he is mistreated at a birthday party, he does a variety of bad deeds, such as replacing the cake candles with firecrackers, replacing the candy in a pinata with pickles, throwing the presents in the pool, and a whole lot of other acts you won't stop laughing at. When on a camping trip, he tricks his foster father into giving his neighbor a concussion. When he is insulted on the baseball field, well, when someone like that has a baseball bat, you kind of know what will happen. Great movie, and damn funny. But the DVD is a bit lacking in the extras department. There is some director commentary and the scene selection option. but not much else. As many of you know who watched the edited version of the movie on the USA network, they put deleted scenes in that version to make it long enough to run. These scenes are NOWHERE TO BE FOUND ON THE DVD! (They include a hallucinatory sequence by the Bow Tie Killer before he breaks out of jail, a scene where the Healys get insulted for their cat going to the bathroom in a neighbor's bushes, a scene where Junior is drawing a picture of his neighbor being injured, a scene where Junior pilots an R/C helicopter to terrorize both the milk man and the paper boy, a scene at the circus where the Bow Tie Killer runs into a bearded lady, and there might be others.) If you have the VHS don't bother getting the DVD. If you want the deleted scenes, tape it off TV. Only get the DVD if you don't have the VHS yet, or you're replacing all of your VHS tapes with DVDs. Good movie, but keep these warnings in mind.
Rating: Summary: It's funny i don't care Review: This is movie is so funny and i don't understand y it is. Some things that people say and do in this movie r jus silly, but they make the movie funny. I don't care about what the other people say about this movie. I believe what that other person said about watching this movie over and over b/c i know i can. I love this movie!! Michael Richards really makes it good, (Kramer from Seinfield) and that's when some people dind't recognize him until later when they saw him on Seinfield, but i always remembered who it was. Michael Oliver also does a good job of acting retarded and being funny at the same time. I don't like the 2nd one as much but if u like movies that are silly then see this one.
Rating: Summary: Funny Review: This was one of the funniest films I've ever seen. I laughed alot.
Rating: Summary: BRILLIANT! One of the best comedy films of all time Review: Unbelievably solid comedy that remarkably stands up to repeated viewings. That is a remarkable achievement. This movie is hilarious, and John Ritter and Micheal Oliver are genius! You'll never see a better child actor, EVER! The cartoonishness of every scene is priceless. Oh yeah, and there's a lot of subtle adult humor that I missed as a child, for instance the progression of books Ritter reads (from some optimistic self help book about raising a son in the beginning to "The Exorcist" by the end!!) Truly a rare movie that adults and kids can both find brilliant on their own level. I only like dramedies (like Todd Solondz) and am EXTREMELY INSANELY picky, and I think this is sheer brilliance.
Rating: Summary: We all know it is a dumb movie but don't take it seriously. Review: What is the problem with people who hate this movie so bad what is so horrible about this film? I laugh everytime I see this movie it is very fun to watch not boring but I admit the some of the story is rather stupid but you have to expect it with a movie like this. I have seen so many more stupiter movies than this. Of course all of you people can complain that if you like this movie you have some serious issues SHUT UP! John Ritter was good with kids in it and the other actors were alright but have a light heart while watching it don't take the film seriously just sit back and laugh at it it is a fun movie. And some other reviewer said that they got physically ill after watching this movie What the hell is that all about? I really cannot think of one thing that can be so bad in this movie that makes people hate Problem Child so bad it is a funny movie.
