Rating: Summary: I got physically ill. Review: I literally got physically ill after watching this movie. It portrays a child doing as he wants with no desire or motivation for obedience. The directors do not take a neutral stance towards this lack of respect for parents and authority; they actually smile whimsically upon it and think it cute and beautiful. I know obedience and respect aren't high values in our society, but this movie takes the lack of values in Hollywood to new lows. A classic John Ritter movie.
Rating: Summary: Ok movie, Ok dvd.... Review: I love the problem child series. This DVD is ok. It lacks extras. The video is pretty cool because it is standard, but they should have also added widescreen. This movie is just 3outof5 stars. I perfer Problem Child 2. But they still have not released that movie on DVD. My request is that they release the rest of the series.
Rating: Summary: DUMB! Review: I really did not like this movie at all. It portrays a 7-year-old kid who gets adapted by a nice family and the kid happens to be evil. Why is this movie rated PG? Shouldn't it be R at least. I remember when I first saw this movie in the theater along time ago with my mom and she thought it was horrible. This isn't a kids movie. I thought this movie was like The Good Son except in Problem Child right after when the kid gets adapted he's evil and in The Good Son the kid isn't evil he's a good guy. The character that plays Macaulay Culkin in The Good Son is evil. Well, anyways if you hadn't seen this movie do not rent it or buy it. It's the worst movie ever made. Even the second and third one is bad! The only thing that's funny in this movie is Michael Richars from Seinfeld being in it. The rest of it is stupid.
Rating: Summary: OH MY GOD! Review: IF YOU ACTUALLY ENJOY THIS 'MOVIE' YOU MUST HAVE SERIOUS ISSUES!*
Rating: Summary: Good Movie but the sequel is much better Review: If you love movies about troublemakers then Problem Child is highly recommended and also get Problem Child 2 to come with it, the funny scenes is when Junior spilled the mop bucket and one of the nuns slipped and she fell out of the window, and remember the nuns reaction when Junior got adopted by his parents Big and Flo, or when Junior throws a cat at his adopted grandfather Big Ben, also how about the birthday party scene when Junior throws a bunch of birthday presents in the swimming pool and to be honest with you, the birthday girl was a mean snotty brat and that's what she gets for not letting Junior come to the clownshow or at the baseball game when Junior hits everybody on the opposite team with a baseball bat, and finally when Junior drives his mother's car into Big Ben's Sporting Goods Store, those scenes are hilarious, there's also a touching scene at the birthday when Ben tells Junior about the prune that he gave to Ben just before he died.Overall I give this movie 3.5 stars cause it's a funny although I prefer the sequel over this one (usually it's the other way around) cause it's more extreme and what I don't get is why is it that everybody comes down hard on this movie.
Rating: Summary: A good movie Review: It is a sad day for comedy lovers as we lost John Ritter. Problem Child is an entertaining movie. Both Ritter and the young child actor are brilliant in this too-short amusing tale. The only warning I could give you is consider whether or not you want to give your children this movie - it might give them ideas. Know what I mean? :)

Rating: Summary: Adopted Nightmare-Child Reforms -- "OK" Comedy Review: John Ritter is great as middle aged adoptive dad who takes on the challenge to give a loving home to an incouragable 7-year old who makes Dennis The Menace look like a choir boy. His already skiddish marriage to a chronically disagreeable dim-wit appears even more stressed with the arrival of "sonny boy". Overall this film is not thaaaaat funny, but it has a message: If you refuse to give up hope that there is good in every child, no matter how difficult it may appear to get to love him/her, then you will be pleasantly surprised. As long as there is life, there is hope, even for the most extreme of all problem children. As a 4th grade teacher, I can relate several such stories. The Theme song to this movie, performed by The Beach Boys is well worth the price of the DVD. If you're in it just for laughs, you may want to skip this one.***
Rating: Summary: i like this movie Review: okkok
Rating: Summary: SOMETHING FOR ALL CHILDREN Review: One thing this film lacks is the bonus footage seen when it's on television(over-the-air and basic cable,i.e. USA). However the TV version has some modified dialogue. But,John Ritter, like his character,is good-natured. He's very good with children. I'd highly recommend it for young children.
