Review: why does fox not put all of the tree house of horror episodes in one set i would buy that and same for the christmas why are they taking so long to release the dvd box sets i mean ok the comentaries take a while to do but not one year they are realy good so far but why so slow i dont get it why don't they put all the simpsons hallowe'en specials in on set i would definately buy that for shure and why did they cancel family guy that show would have been the next simpsons I would have given one star but you know it is from the simpsons who here hates fox

Summary: Great Idea, Strange execution...
Review: I love Halloween and I love the Simpsons. You'd think this were nervana. Unfortunately it's just another money-grab. Here's what I liked/dis-liked about this DVD; LIKED;
-Simpsons, Halloween... enough said.
-Picture and sound are fine. Just like Cable.
-The price. If it cost any more I would have passed.
-The episodes they have are good ones. DIS-LIKED;
-Why Tree House Episodes V, VI, VII and XII? Why not I, II, III and IV?
-Why not all of the Tree House Episodes on one, more expensive, DVD. I could not resist that!
-The Kang and Kodos "Bonus" is Merely a montage of clips. No big deal.
-No extras. Given these factors, it is easy to conclude that this is, indeed, a money-grab. If they released a real Tree House of Horror DVD With all the episodes, I'd jump on that like a fly on stink, at just about any price!!

Review: What a ripoff!!!! Protest this crass money grab! It's not like they even gave us the first four episodes, then the next four. They should give us them ALL on ONE DVD. Sheesh!

Review: This DVD wasn't put together very well. The menu is very slow, the episodes aren't in any particular order and when there is fast action on screen the picture gets distorted and traily...but it's only 10 bucks and that's pretty cheap for a DVD. If you wanna buy it and laugh for 2 hours and get a little annoyed at the bad quality then go for it but if you decide not to buy it...no big loss...

Summary: Super cool DVD!! Just in time for Halloween!!!
Review: ... It had Halloween episodes 5, 6, 7, and 12. As a bonus feature, it has a Kang and Kodos featurette, which shows clips of them in other Simpsons Halloween episodes. You should get this DVD now!! It'll make the perfect Halloween laughfest for a Halloween party, plus as $10 as the price, you can't go wrong with this DVD!!!

Summary: I know it's just to milk us for all we're worth....
Review: ...but the Simpsons is the Simpsons and it's still great tv. I give it 4 stars cos I know it is to milk us fans...but that doesn't change the fact that it's high quality tv. I love the Sismpson. Viva the Simpsons. May they never die. :)
But also, may they continue to put out the boxsets and do it faster. Twice a year would be nice and affordable for most fans.

Summary: Save Your Money!
Review: Of the 13 "Treehouse Of Horror" episodes (With the 14th on the way), Fox give us four (5, 6, 7 and 12), with no commentaries and no bonuses (Other than the Kang & Kodos featurette), all for a steep price. My idea is to save your money for the box sets! Unless you want to kill time with that until the Season 4 box set come out!

Summary: For under $15, if you're a Simpsons fan it's worth it...
Review: This is a nice little DVD, but it sucks that it's only four of the thirteen or so great Halloween episodes. Why on Earth they would release this little thing instead of a box set of all the Halloween episodes is beyond me, but for the very low price you can't really go wrong. It's a nice little ditty to put next to your Simpsons box sets, and its nice to watch once in a while. There's a short Kang & Kodos montage featurette that's funny as well.. Overall, it's worth the buy if you're a fan of the Simpsons at all, or just like cheap DVDs that don't *really* suck.

Review: Obviously, FOX takes their sweet time between the releases of DVD box sets - and The Simpsons has been no excpetion to this rule. FOX obviously released this set to make a quick buck between box sets. This is terrible, because the time spent to make this DVD could've been better used on the box sets themselves. To make things worse, this only has FOUR episodes! And besides, WHY BOTHER WITH THIS IF THESE EPISODES WILL EVENTUALLY BE IN SEASON BOX SETS ANYWAY? And if FOX has these episodes on DVD NOW, what's taking so long with the box sets? FINAL VERDICT: DON'T BUY THIS - ONLY BUY THE SEASON BOX SETS! Show FOX what you really want.

Summary: What were they thinking?
Review: I don't understand why FOX only released four Halloween episodes of "The Simpsons" when we could get ALL of them. I mean, this really isn't enough, and mixing just any episodes chosen at random with each other is really sloppy and not at all well! The Halloween Specials for all the seasons in the series are always great, but I'm sure this item would've been rated higher IF they put them all together in one special package! But no! Instead we get only FOUR?! WTF?!!! FOX probably just rushed and crammed em all in this just to make some quick cash and didn't care about customer satisfaction. If you wanna give Simpsons fans a special holiday treat, then fix this and get all the Halloween episodes on this!
