Summary: For any and all Simpsons fans
Review: If you have ever enjoyed The Simpsons, then you should get this DVD collection. I had watched The Simpsons before, but only occasionally over the past few years. I missed the first season so it was a joy to finally be able to enjoy it. Plus, beyond the fact that the series is great, the DVD is great. It has gorgeous packaging, great commentary, and some fun extras. So, my advice is to, of course, buy it.

Summary: Woohoo!
Review: It's Homer and the rest in the first thirteen episodes! And it's in Dolby Digital 5.1? Why? Who cares! With enough extras to keep you busy for a good fun-filled weekend, this set of three discs really can't disappoint...

Summary: The Simpsons First Season
Review: This is great!Well, the first season is not The Simpsons best. I'd say that the show really picked up in season two. But that's beside the point. This DVD is well, as i said Great! Buy this!
Well, now to the stuff about the stuff on this DVD and stuff. The comentary is cool. You can get some insight on the Simpsons. More notably the episodes that the comentary is in.However, the comentary is audio, so you can't hear the episodes. But then again you don't have to turn it on. You can also view the scripts for some of the episodes as well. That's cool. Um,oh yeah. Also this one time me and my friends went to the mall, and this kid was running. So we ran too,and we got tired.Wait. Sorry I went off for a moment. Now back to the subject. You can aslo learn (If you don't know already) how The Simpsons were born. There's some cool sh.Um,I mean cool stuff on this DVD.So buy it if your a Simps fan.You won't be sorry.I hope.

Summary: A Season to be Forgotten
Review: This is the one season I would never watch, but, being a Simpson fan, I got it anyways. I agree with another reviwer, this was probably the WORST season ever. I really cant decide which is worse, the first season, or the most recent one. The extras are pretty good, though. But as for the actually season, well, it was quite dripy and depressing. But the one, ONE episode I have come to love the most was Moaning Lisa. It was very sweet and touching, and I felt bad for Lisa. Though it is quite as dreary as most of the others at the time....being it seemed as if a black cloud hovered over them at all times. The charecters had not been fully devleoped then. Homer was more dopey than stupid, bart was a little more devious, Marge wasn't as cheerful, and Lisa was a little more mature than now and days. I think they caught on around the end of the third season, or early in the fourth season. They were always such a cute family......

Summary: Super Simpsons Season
Review: This is a must for any Simpsons fan! Unfortunately the 3rd DVD did not have as many episodes as the first two. All in all it is a great buy for hours of comic relief!

Summary: The greatest cartoon of all time!
Review: I really love the Simpsons. The show was, and still is, the breath of fresh air in prime time. The lines are smart and funny, the comidic timing is always on cue, and the characters are, while exagerated, are still believeable and loveable. My only gripe is with the DVD, not the content. Where is the "play all" feature? You have to keep going from menu to menu to play the episodes. There should be an option to play all the episodes throug if you want to. I hope Fox does this with the next discs.

Summary: Classic Simpsons
Review: This DVD is a must have for any Simpsons fan. It contains the complete first season with 13 episodes on 3 discs. These are the episodes where all the characters are introduced and you get to see how the characters develop into what they are now. All the drawings and all the voices and acting, you can see how all of that developed.

The DVD video and audio captured the quality of these original episodes well.

Fans won't be disappointed with the special features. All of the episodes are accompanied with commentaries and the third disc is full of fun extras.

A highly recommended purchased.

Summary: Best Animated Series.
Review: How else to start a best animated series than with the complete first season on DVD. This DVD is wonderful with extras and the show just in its early development stages does keep you laughing. The show which debuted December 17th 1989 has stayed on 13 years and has showed that it has staying power. Hopefully this show will stay on 13 more years for many people to enjoy. This is a good DVD set and I recommend the next two DVD set the Second and Third seasons.

Summary: Homerific!
Review: If you like the Simpsons, you have to have this DVD set. I plan on having the entire collection one day, and you have to start with the first season. If you want to laugh, buy this DVD set, there is so much Homer you won't believe it. You can't go wrong with the first season, or any season for that matter. The price is so low for three DVDs, I can hardly believe it.
