Rating: Summary: Wonderful movie Review: First off, look at the animation in Toy Story, then follow through Bugs Life and Toy Story Two. The animation in MI surpasses all. The Hair on Sully looks real, and the Abominable Snowman looks like a bunch of cotton. In other words, these monsters look REAL. The plot is quite simple. One monster lets a kid into, which could spell doom for all monsters everywhere, so he and his buddy try to get it back where it came from, while avoiding the bad guy. But that's just the basis. The plot expands and it becomes a nearly two hour movie. MI has the voice talents of Billy Crystal (Mike), John Goodman (James P. Sullivan), james Coburn (Waternose...something like that) and Jennifer Tilly, Frank Oz, and more. The past few disney movies haven't been...exactly the greatest (Atlantis) but MI makes up for all of those movies. Go see MI and laugh and enjoy it, then go see it again

Rating: Summary: How cool is Boo???? Review: I LOVED this movie; what kid hasn't feared MONSTERS hiding under the bed, or in the closet? We can ALL identify with that, so this movie provides a lot of laughs for all former and present monster victims. Mike and Sully are loveable characters, and I am ABSOLUTELY in love with adorable little Boo, the human toddler who brazenly barges into Monstropolis. Steve Buscemi is an excellently slimy baddie, and the movie even provides a cool twist towards the end. A word to parents- there were a few younger kids crying throughout the movie, so you might want to make sure your child is ready to sit in the dark looking at monsters for 1 1/2 hours. Otherwise, the whole family should be happy with this great flick.
Rating: Summary: Sully Rocks Review: This is a delightful and highly entertaining family film. I took my 2 year old to see it, and even though he was somewhat apprehensive at first, he really enjoyed it, and walked around saying "Mike Wyzowski, Mike Wyzowski" and "Monster's Inc." all day. Mike and Sully are a scare team, who work hard to elicit screams from children. It's their job. But in Monstropolis, it is children who send shivers of terror into the heart of every monster. And when Sully accidentally brings an adorable 2-year-old toddler back into their world, chaos ensues. Sully (wonderfully voiced by Dan Goodman) is first repulsed by, then smitten with the human child, Boo. It is a wonderful and exciting and heartwarming story, and I like it much better than either Bug's Life or the Toy Stories. See this movie.
Rating: Summary: Original Review: Very Original! Yet another awesome production by the folks at Pixar. Definitely worth checking out in the theaters.
Rating: Summary: A movie that's number one on my wish list Review: Monsters,Inc. was an excellent movie that both kids and adults will love. The characters were excellent and the plot was very creative. I definitly urge you to see this movie! Pixar and Disney did a awsome job on this one!
Rating: Summary: Not as funny as I expected Review: Six years ago, a relatively unknown production company known as Pixar released the first totally computer-generated film, titled "Toy Story". Four years later, the sequel was released, and since then, Dreamworks has released, "Shrek", their first attempt at a CGI picture. When "Monsters Inc." was released yesterday, I had to go and see it. I own both Toy Story films and Shrek, and thought that Monsters Inc. would probably be just as good: I was wrong. Now don't get me wrong. This is a good kid's movie, and judging by the laughs of the children in the theatre, this will be a big hit. However... some of the jokes I didn't find so funny. There was something about Toy Story that I loved, and Shrek was more of a film with more adult humor anyways. The good things about Monsters Inc: Parents can sit through it with their kids, and won't be bored out of their minds. The voice-acting is supurb, the imagination amazing, and the effects just as good as Shrek, but coming from Disney, beats their last attempt, (Toy Story 2), easily. Sometimes it looks so real, you forget that it's NOT. All in all, a good kid's movie, but I still think Toy Story sits atop the list...and probably will for a long time.
Rating: Summary: The Best Disney Movie by Far! Review: I had to go see it as soon as it came out, and I wasn't disappointed! This movie worked on so many levels for kids and adults. The comedy was for everybody, but parents can relate to Sulley and Boo for the most part. Especially when Sulley thinks he loses little Boo, and finds her safe and sound. And the end was well put together to put little kids at ease about the monsters they think are in their closets. Take it from this 13-year-old girl, take your kids to see this awesome movie! =P
Rating: Summary: Awsome Graphics, Story Review: It must be hard to create such complex graphics, while still keeping the story entertaining and touching. The makers of Monsters, Inc. have done just that. The story was just as enchanting and original as Toy Story, A Bug's Life, and Shrek, and the graphics out-did those from the Final Fantacy movie. I absolutely recommend this movie for people of any age (I saw it with 4 other 19-20-year-olds). Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Another great Pixar Production! Review: I really enjoyed this film and so did all are little cousins who saw it. Actually a lot of parents also loved it but. It is really enjoyable and is a funny light-hearted comedy with great voice talents just like all the other Pixar animated feature films. If you loved Toy Story and Toy story 2, you will definitely love this. Not as good as the great Toy Story production but just as imaginative and creative. I loved the animated characters and the way they look just like every other Pixar film. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I recommend it for all ages! I guarantee fun and excitement.
