Summary: This film is SUPERB!!!
Review: When I saw ANTZ advertisment, I already knew this film should be great, but when I saw whole film, I think - it's greatest cartoon film I've ever seen. Expressive faces, massed cutscenes with thousands of bugs, cool music, nice story and voices - all is beautiful. I even forgot it's cartoon film. ANTZ surely has to take an OSCAR! And not only one.

Summary: Excellent not-just-for-kids movie
Review: Surprisingly enough, I saw this film with a theater full of adults and we all were cheering louder than any group of younsters ever could. The movie had action, adventure, comedy and it was all in the right places. It was the first Woody Allen movie I was able to really enjoy without sympathizing with his angst so intensely that I had to rush to my shrink still reeking of movie popcorn. The villain was a true villain. He was the kind which I always love the most, those who are thoroughly convinced they are working for the greater good. The evil sidekick of the villain was even more charmingly sinister. When he came through in the end to do the right thing, the entire theater was cheering. I recommend this movie to all ages. If you don't have kids, borrow your nieces and nephews if you have to. You'll be glad you did. This is a must see.

Summary: Life Imitates Art
Review: I have read some of these reviews, these people are parents? What are they thinking? Whenever we get bored, no need to bother looking closer, just add a special effect! A little bored, a touch of visceral ennui? Just add some more explosions, slip in a little mayhem, sneak in a few truly debasing sexual references and Voila. Wow, a really big computer animated WAR. Now that's truly original! When life imitates art are all those Hollywood moguls going to volunteer?

Review: I have seen ANTZ and Bugs Life and I thought ANTZ was much better. Although the movies are very similar ANTZ has characters that you can relate to and it includes a love story. Bugs Life is all about WAR and some scenes are violent for younsters.

Review: I thought it was really well-done, even for a cartoon! I like it where the General says- 'You look death in the face and laugh!' and Z says- 'Well, actually, I just make belittling comments and snicker behind death's back.' Hilarious cartoon!

Summary: Excellent animation and character design.
Review: Antz is by far the cream of the crop from the new CG-animated films. Super smooth Character animation and designs. Characters are likeable and not to 'Disneyesque'. The story is also great, although it's your basic save the world (colony), save the princess type plot, its in its execution that puts it ahead of the pack. If your looking for an animated film that doesn't have all the Disney cuteness and (mostly) forgettable songs, then Antz is your film. Hopefully it will get a DVD release soon. So until Final Fantasy the Movie reaches theaters, enjoy PDI's offering, you won't be disappointed.

Review: Two movies about Ants. And totally deferent level of sensation! I'm not trying to say that 'ANTZ' was whole lot better than 'Bugs Life'. They both were good. But now Disney needs to realize that they needs to Change.
