Summary: Hilarious genius
Review: It's rare to find a comedy that really makes you laugh out loud. This one does, and right to the end. Chris Tucker stumbles and squirms his way through like a modern Charlie Chaplin. It's perfectly played, directed and edited. If you liked "Something About Mary" or other Farrelly Brothers-style movies, this is even better.

Summary: Awesome.
Review: A funny film staring rapper, Ice cube, and humor expert, Chris Tucker, join together and what do they make? This! A movie all about getting a job, partying, and having some fun on friday!
With each of the Friday movies out, this one has to be the best. It is IMPOSSIBLE to bwatch the whole movie, and not have atleast 7 or 8 major laughs. Having (so far) 3 Friday movies out, I hope more ones come out. But in my opinion, no other Friday movie will match this.

Summary: "You Gots to be stupid to get fired on your day off." Funny!
Review: Yo "Friday" is the bomb. I use 2 favor "Next Friday" over dis, but after watchin it over and over again dis movie is da s***. Chris Tucker is crazy funny. "You's got to be stupid to get fired on yo day off" Love that lol. Craig is a young man who gets fired from his job. He spends most of the day being unemployed with his goofy, non witted homey, Smokey, who like a dumby deals drugs and gets high off his own supply. All day they chill in their hood and sit their a** on da front porch watchin the world go by them. Might think it's a dumb idea for a movie but da things that go on are hilarious. Watchin Craig and Smokey try to scrap up hundreds and hundreds of dollars to pay Smokey's boss after a mishap is da funniest thing. Another funny scene is when Craig's love interest(Nia Long, who gets me a long) tries to hook up Smokey with one of her girlfriends. When Smokey talks 2 her on da horn she claims dat she looks like Janet Jackson. Who knew Janet Jackson was 400 pounds and bald? MAdd Funny! "There's a deli down the street, i know your hungry!" There are so many unforgettable funny characters in here like d-bo, dat crack head guy "I steal, I don't kill.", felicia, and the pastor (Bernie Mack). IF your interested in watchin some chick get screwed by some French dude, see "UnfaithfuL". If your interested in some high suspense street drama catch "Juice". ANd if your interseted in laughin till you you feel a painful sensation from 2 much dumbness watch "Friday". 1

Summary: It's decent and kind of funny.
Review: Friday stars rapper/actor Ice Cube and the funny Chris Tucker. It's the first out of the Friday series (which includes two other sequals) and some call it the best.

I don't know why, but I just didn't find this movie to be very funny. Although I did find the film to be good without the humor in it, though. Many people say that Chris Tucker's character Smokey was the funniest thing in all three of the Friday movies, but truthfully, I found him to be quite annoying at times. But Tucker can still be pretty funny at times as well.

Overall, even if there was only a few short scenes that made me laugh, Friday was still pretty enjoyable and many other people seem to like it, so I guess I can say that I recommend you to at least rent it.

Summary: DAMNNN
Review: This movie is one of the first movies that have had the balls to make fun drug, black, violence and gang culture and get away with it. This is probably, scratch that definately funniest of the three. As the movies go on the jokes get old. The first one is fresh with weed, fart, sex and racist jokes.

Ice Cube plays a young black guy in the "hood" with his pothead "hommie" Smokey, played by Chris Tucker. Smokey is a druggie who works for a dealer. Smokey smoked up the weed he was supposed to sell. And by the end of the day he has to get the money to pay back the dealer. Well as Friday goes on the dealer gets impatient and starts to try and kill Smokey and Ice Cube.

The Best Three Legendary Quotes from this movie are:
"You got knocked the f*** out" - Smokey
"Damnnn" - Smokey and Ice Cube
"Endo? This Tastes Mo' like Outdo!" - Ice Cube

Absolutley not for younger kids (13 and under) I suggest you being 14-15 range being the youngest because you probably wont understand the jokes then. Have fun!

Summary: Eh its ok
Review: This movie is overrated but hey this is Amazon. Anyway the story takes place in one day. Ice Cube and his best friend Chris Tucker have to raise money to get Chris Tucker out of a jam. I really dont think Chris Tucker is amusing at all...just annoying. The movie has a few laughs though it mostly falls flat. Ice Cube's dad is an idiot and sooooooo not funny. I give it 3 stars only because the plot centers on weed.

Summary: mindless entertainment
Review: As far as mindless entertainment goes this movie isn't bad. It keeps you entertained. And this may be enough, as long as you don't question the plausibility of a plot in which Craig is going to be shot for $200 and yet refuses to level with his supportive and caring family (or anyone else for that matter) about what he really needs the money for. If only he would you get the feeling that gladly loan it to him.

Summary: FRIDAY DVD Review
Review: Ice Cube and Chris Tucker play refeer-smoking buddies in South Central in this 1995 sleeper hit which really found its audience on video. "Friday" is hardly considered a thinking man's masterpiece, though it does incorporate a strong anti-guns message (perhaps, to make up for its pro-marijuna one) in the end. What is great about "Friday" is that it's not afraid to have fun, no matter how silly its gags get. It uses a whole bunch of great comedic character actors, such as John Witherspoon as Cube's pops and A.J. Johnson as the neighborhood crackhead.

The story of Friday has Craig (Cube) recently fired from his job as he decides to spend a care-free Friday with his best bud, Smokey (Tucker). Smokey decides to smoke his buddy up to celebrate the weekend. Turns out that joint they smoke together was from weed that Smokey was supposed to sell. This is a big problem when the local drug dealer, Big Worm, who is also the neighborhood ice cream man, shows up and demands his cut. When Smokey can't come up with the money, Worm offers him an altermatium- either have the money by midnight or Smokey and Craig are dead. The remainder of the film has the two trying to come up with wacky ideas on how to get the money while trying to avoid the neighborhood bully, Deebo (Lister) and Craig's psychotic girlfriend.

New Line's "Friday" DVD is nearly flawless. You get superb picture and sound quality as well as tons of bonus features including an interview with director F. Gary Gray and the "deleted scenes" featured on the VHS Widescreen version of this film. There are a few things missing however like, perhaps, an audio commentary and some of the scenes added to the TV version but let's not knit-pack.

Summary: Classic Comedy

Summary: The best day of the week!
Review: I can`t count how many times I have seen this movie. This is a definite classic. The humor is rich and Chris Tucker does an excellent job as the ever troublesome Smokey. This is a must have for any DVD collection.
