Rating: Summary: What a great movie for moms and daughters... Review: I took my 11-year-old daughter to see this. The movie was so funny we laughed until we cried. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are excellent. The music is great, too. When the movie was over, the audience applauded -- how often does that happen? My daughter announced that it was the best movie she had ever seen. It certainly was the best movie we've seen in a long time.
Rating: Summary: Great movie - Not a dull moment Review: I loved this movie. My daughter, her friend and I walked out happy and laughing about parts of the movie. The mother and daughter switch bodies and go through the entire day in each other's bodies. I don't want to give too much away but I will say that the movie doesn't have a dull moment. Usually during a movie I will notice people stepping out for drinks, snacks and so on but this movie grabbed everyone's attention and kept them in their seats! Freaky Friday also presents a good moral perspective for teens, showing how teens can have fun, get along with their parents and still be individuals. If you have a teen daughter, pile her and her friends in the car and go see this movie.
Rating: Summary: Four Teenagers Loved It Review: Four teenagers, two parents and one grandma loved the movie. No drugs, no sex, no violence. Everyone laughed out loud over and over again, and later discussed how difficult or fun it would be for a teenager and a parent to switch roles.
Rating: Summary: Best Chic Flick of the Year! Go see it NOW! Review: I've seen this movie twice in one week, and want to go back for thirds. Curtis and Lohan are brilliant, and play off of each other fantastically well. The movie gets especially inspired once the two are forced to be in each other's bodies and hence walk a mile in each other's moccasins. The character development and moral transcendence are inspiring, poignant, and this is the best "feel good" movie I have seen in years. It will entertain you, make you laugh, make you cry, and most of all give you some perspective. Go see it, now....
Rating: Summary: Funny movie... Review: I went to see "Freaky Friday" and absolutely loved it! Both Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan were hilarious. The comedy in the movie had me on the floor laughing. When I first saw the previews for this film I thought to myself, oh geez, another movie with the premise being mother/daughter switch - played out! But I was wrong. Out of the movies I have seen with this plot "Freaky Friday" was by far the best! A definite must see!
Rating: Summary: GREAT MOVIE! Review: When I went to see this the other day with my friend I was thinking this is probably gonna be really lame. Boy was I wrong!! I was laughing so hard throughout this whole movie!! This is something everyone of any age could watch. I recommend seeing it, you'll have a great time :)
Rating: Summary: Freaky Friday rocks-beats orginial Review: I'm a guy (20 yearse old), and my parents and I went to see it. We orginially wre going to see something different, but there was a time mix-up, so we chose Freaky Friday at the spur of the moment. First let me say, I felt a little fuzzy during the opening credits and in the beginning. I felt like, " great, this is going to be a waste." I was surprised. I enjoyed this movie. This movie was funny, and very good acting as the mother and daughter switch roles. NOw I'm sure that females will enjoy this movie better since this movie is targeted towards them, but Guys, do not feel bad if you see this movie and liked it. I loved it, it was funny, and I think it beats the original.
Rating: Summary: Freaky Friday Review: I love the movie. It is one of my first movie that shows a lesson of mother and daughter relationship. I love it because it's funny, charming, and cool! This movie brings me closer to my mother, and a closer relationship. My sister felt the same, too. If you haven't watched this movie yet, I would strongly recommend you to watch it. I really think you're going to like it!
Rating: Summary: Well worth the time Review: Maybe Robert Larson needs to lighten up, this is a feel-good, funny film, thoroughly enjoyable (and I am a skeptic on the quality of films these days) but was not dissppointed at all, there were a lot of cute, subtle little funny moments as well as the obvious stuff you'd expect... and the music was great. Really cute, I'm ging to see the 1976 version now!
Rating: Summary: I saw it with my three kids Review: A great concept for a movie no matter how often it's retold. In its current form, the characters and dialog kept us entertained from beginning to end. As the final credits rolled, I noticed the audience lingered in their seats wanting to remain in the story just a little longer. It's a light, easy, funny summer movie for the family.
