Cameron Diaz ! Exellent actress ... never won an Oscar... But she is not crying ! She is laughing ! And I am laughing with her too ! This is just funny movie about " normal " people , who end up in crasy situations ... and they not " normal " anymore ! This is it ! No smart thouts , no correct feelings ... JUST FUN !
Highly recomended for people , who has nothing ... but learn to laugh about it !

Review: I cant beleive im the first person to review this film. Its so about time it was released on DVD. Well Art House movies dont always get my attention but this flick is brilliant. Harvey Keitel and Cameron Diaz dazzle in the story about a high profile judge who weds a previous defendant in one of his court cases, though she is at least 30 years his junior!! Things just seem to get tougher for Diaz as the movie goes on to hide her ex (dead)lover in their house on a beautiful island off the Boston coast.
The scenery is fantastic, the acting superb, this movie will take you away from the everyday. Soundtrack is excellent. Enjoy

Review: I do not understand why the original norwegian "Hodet over vannet" have not been released, it is far superior to this Hollywood crap, don't waste your time with this bad remake and wait for the original Nils Gaup film.

Summary: Really great dark comedy
Review: If you like this genre, you'd have to agree that this is a fantastic dark comedy. It's not slapstick or gross-out--just an interesting story with lots of irony and lots of twists. I loved this movie because it's so unpredictable and things go from bad to worse all because of a questionable decision made at the beginning of the story. This is not "the greatest movie ever made" (see earlier review), but it definitely doesn't stink. It's very clever and you will probably want to see it again to pick up on some of the subtleties.

I was very pleasantly surprised because I hadn't heard of it at the theaters and yet it was such a treat to watch. In my opinion, this was much more enjoyable and creative than There's Something About Mary. In fact, I think it's Cameron Diaz's best movie. If you like her work, you owe it to yourself to rent it. Harvey Keitel is also excellent as the husband.

And if you're reading this Cameron, will you marry me? :-)

Review: The real name of the movie Pathfinder is Ofelas. The story is not the same, the charters are not the same, the location is not the same, the era is not the same, and I can go on forever with the facts that there is no relationship between these two movies. Any one who sees a relation ship was just copping the mistakes make in the initial reviews. So forget all this stuff about comparing this movie to Pathfinder.

This movie "Head Above Water" (1997) ASIN: 078061299X is packed with top-notch actors and great scenery. You want to start figuring out what is going to happen from the start. However you are wrong. As the different problems arise there correction attempts only causes the problems to snowball. I keep thinking of Dave Barry "Big Trouble" [UNABRIDGED] ISBN: 1567404596 and how he says something sane that gets blown out of proportion and you find yourself defending some indefensible illogical stance. This film starts out with a simple problem that in the end looks ridiculous. But at the very last moment it takes care of its self (or does it?)

Review: This movie is funny for its irony, twists and turns. Diaz plays the young girlfriend of Keitel who plays her hot headed boyfriend. They arrange to meet at an island paradise, however an ex flame follows her to the island and starts making the moves on her before her boyfriend arrives. Eventually the plot starts as they go to sleep together and Diaz wakes up to find the ex boyfriend dead beside her. Realizing that her boyfriend is just minutes away from reaching the island she tries to hide the body so not to upset the boyfriend. Hiding him in a tiny cellar, Keitel arrives and they tease he will find the body, instead he walks on the cellar door and pushes it down to thinking the cellar door was broken, and in the process with the body just below the door breaks the neck of the body. Diaz tells Keitel of the body and that they should tell the police but now the body has a broken neck taking away any sort of reasonable explanation. The movie goes from there.

Review: When me and a friend rented it we couldn't stop laughing. See my friend rewinds every funny part about 7 times. When we woke up we watched again. This time she listed all the parts in this movie. So when we passed it along time ago, she would rewind it the funny parts.
