Summary: Great
Review: The movie is a great way for people to understand that looks play a big part in a relationship. It teaches you that you have to feel the person is beautiful physically and mentally. Without both, its not a true relationship.

Summary: The Worst Barbra Streisand Movie Ever...
Review: ...and I love her! What was she thinking when she made this pasted-together film about a fiftyish "ugly duckling" who marries an asexual professor and can't figure out how to "un-platonic" their relationship? Part of the problem is that Streisand never fully commits herself to looking unattractive at the beginning: her idea of looking homely is long, dark clothing and brown hair, but with all the movie star lighting firmly in place. Barbra then drops the original film's plastic surgery transformation for a make-over that changes her looks into a Barbie doll of ill repute. Voila! The world is at her feet and her husband (and everybody else) is at her beck and call. What message does this send?

Summary: What's the message?
Review: if this movie is trying to tell me that real beauty lays inside of a person, why did Barbara change her appearence. That would mean that the director thought we would rather look at a less-ugly'er person and with that say exactly the opposite: ROMANCE BETWEEN UGLY POEPLE DOES NOT EXCISTS.

Summary: What a great movie!
Review: I love Barbra because of this movie. This is one of the most wonderful and romantic comedies I have seen in a long time. Many of my friends told me that after they watching this movie they just felt so-o-o-o-o good, teary eyed. I have watched this movie many times, I think this movie should have won all kind of awards and is definitely worth having as a collector's item. Don't miss it or you will regret.

Summary: A Bad movie to love
Review: Eventhough it's a vanity piece for Babs (she plays a frump, who after a musical montage of exercises and make over scenes turns into a strange 70's singles-bar vixen who at last can get laid) this is compulsively watchable. There is something about beautiful New York Upper West Side scenes that melt the heart. Lauren Bacall, Jeff Bridges and Mimi Rogers are great. Barbra is hard to figure - one moment she acts like an insightful, brilliant English professor, the next like a naive little frau. Her makeover makes no difference whatsoever. She justs adds a black seduce-me choker - and magic - she is supper chick. The next rainy day, curl up and enjoy this drek - it is worth a dozen giggles, and trust me, it will become one of those bad movies you just love.

Summary: The Romance Movie Lover will love this!!
Review: This movie is the one of the most romantic movie I've ever seen. Streisand is very good in her own way, Bridges is gorgeous, smart, and looking so good in this movie. This movie can be happened in our real life, not so many couple has the same in common. You must believe your own common sense and the chemistry which it happens with someone, not everyone you get in touch.

Summary: A hard to swallow film of Barbra's
Review: Us fans waiting for a Streisand film to come out every five years is hard enough and expectations are aplenty too. After "Prince of Tides", one has hoped Barbra was on a route to do different kinds of films. "Prince" was mainstream Hollywood, but Barbra did a good job (even with all the flaws - including herself as Lowenstein). In "Mirror" she's in her old genre of comedy, but turned out a product which seems automatically anachronistic the moment it came out. Nothing wrong about an old fashioned love story had Barbra stuck with the first 3/4 of the film (eventhough not very believable, but it has its moments of charm though everything is forced), but worst of all she had to turn Rose into a La Streisand sermon preaching about beauty, passion and cupid. One should question why Barbra still has to try and convince us about her beauty when we already fell in love with her in "Funny Girl" (and then the issue was more relevent). The material and direction here just isn't up to what Streisand did in "Yentl" & "Prince" and if anti-Streisand forces are yelling narcisstic & vanity project, I'm afraid to admit they are right. The other actors do their best under the circumstances, but it evolves Barbra all the time (and one has to wonder at the unflattering female roles in the film, except herself of course). The woman has an eye for direction and the talent to act a role if she dares tackle it - but until now few have been her roles in which she seperates herself from the role she's playing. As in "Funny Girl" the result can sometimes be thrilling, but in "Mirror" it is annoying. Lets hope "Mirror" is not her last film and that her next effort will be better.

Summary: Barbra Streisand Finally Sings!!!
Review: I have been an avid Barbra Streisand fan since the release of Enough is Enough w/Donna Summer. She is a phenomenal singer with a voice that only is given by God.My devotion to La Streisand has branched out to seeing her in concert at Madison Square Garden in June of 1994 for a mere $1000. I sat 14 rows back and was unable to talk or function properly after it was over. I think that The Mirror Has Two Faces was a cute movie. It once again revolves around Barbra Streisand as all of her movies do. The only problem that I have is that she acknowledges herself as an actress and denounces herself as a singer.Overall, in my opinion, the movie is worth watching and having as a collectors item within the household

Summary: An excellent moive
Review: This is first Barbara's moive I have ever seen and, to me, in this moive she appeared not as self-centered as people said. I enjoyed every second of it!!
