Rating: Summary: These people are nuts! Review: But funny. To me, anyway. If you like really silly, absurd comedy and like B movies, then you should enjoy this double feature of low budget madness. Oscar Wilde this ain't. More like Soupy Sales, but I could overlook the cheesiness of it and enjoy it on it's own terms. Lots of fun.
Rating: Summary: No budget, plenty laughs! Review: Honey Glaze pays homage to James Bond movies while venturing into uncharted territory in an altogether hilarious and successful romp. It's high camp, but there's still enough plot to sink your teeth into, a mystery for you to ponder while watching, and characters you'll love or hate (tip: hate the bad guys, love the good guys). The actors do a terrific job at being believable in their roles, keeping straight faces and staying in character as they get into one bizarre situation after another. It goes beyond "appreciative chuckle" to "burst out laughing" many times, and is good enough that I let my young teens watch it despite an oh-so-brief nearly-topless scene that's absolutely necessary to the plot. If you have a slightly off-the-wall sense of humor, buy it, watch it, invite your friends over to watch it with you; Honey Glaze is worth sharing with others who appreciate the somewhat strange and very, very funny.

Rating: Summary: No budget, plenty laughs! Review: It's amazing what you can do nowadays with no money but a good helping of talent. This low budget double feature embraces the cheesy wondefulness of old B movies and produces two wacky, goofy comedies that had me laughing throughout. Plus the whole family can watch!
Rating: Summary: A B-movie Blast If You Have Off-the-Wall Taste Review: The works of Sideshow Cinema are not for everyone. Your sense of humor has to be a bit demented in order to appreciate the lunatic comic genius of writer/director/actor Michael Legge. However, if you get off on seeing classic B movies and corny TV shows turned inside out and on their ears, then "Honey Glaze" and "Braindrainer" are definitely for you.No sacred cow is left unscathed by Legge's rapier wit. His company of oh-so-normal actors doing oh-so-outrageous things in absolute deadpan mock politicians, bureaucrats, heroes and villains alike. "Honey Glaze" is a new release that spoofs the old Honey West-type TV shows with a bit of "Alias," "Charlie's Angels," and even James Bond thrown in for good measure. The jokes are fast and the action is furious. You'll need to watch it a few times to catch the fun dialog you missed while laughing out loud. "Braindrainer" is a re-release on DVD of a Sideshow Cinema classic. A host of colorful characters parade through this video and slap us silly with seemingly mindless, but surprisingly pointed, humor. The low-budget look and feel and the sometimes distorted camera angles of Sideshow Cinema's films are all deliberate attempts to bring us back to the good old days when Saturday afternoons were spent watching really bad horror and sci-fi flicks. Now, forty years later, many of those B-movies have become cult classics. "Honey Glaze" and "Braindrainer" won't have to wait that long. They are already high camp.
Rating: Summary: No-Budget Films at thier best Review: This film has nearly no Budget but it pulled me in laughing every second. I went to the premier of this film, then bought the DVD shortly after. Good Flick and its worth it for any B-Movie kinda Guy.
