Review: I've seen the movie twice, and I love it. The movie totally blows the first movie out of the water. The main reason I like this movie is they kept the same people that are in the first movie, plus the movie gave you a feeling of self assurence that everything was going to turn out "A" OK! Summary: Better Than The First!
Review: You really can't say enough about the original American Pie, but American Pie 2 beat it to death. It was so funny that when you leave the theater you will still be laughing. Without a doubt one of the biggest casts of all time with Jim (Jason Biggs), Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth), Stiffler (Sean W. Scott), Oz (Chris Kline), and of course Jim's DAD (Eugene Levy)! The saga continues when Jim and all of his buddy's gear up for the summer beach house they rent. Jim's waiting for Nadia to arrive. Stiffler is still playing. Kevin wants Vicky back. Oz and Heather have to suffer through the summer apart. Finch is waiting for Stiffler's mom. And well you know Sherman. "The Sherminator". The DVD will be great. As soon as it's availble GO AND RENT IT! You cant miss out on American Pie 2!

Summary: Different strokes for different folks
Review: I'm a 17 year old and I personally didn't like this movie. I give this two stars because I did not find this to be funny. There were a few funny parts but if your not into these teen-sex movies and are a little scared of gap commericals don't watch this.

Summary: Best Sequel Ever?
Review: Quite possibly. As a sequel, a movie should never deviate from it's original formula, but still has to remain fresh, new, and cutting edge. American Pie 2 satisfies all standards for a perfect sequel. Other movies that attempted to follow the formula, but came up short include: Jurassic Park 2(a little girl using gymnastics to defeat dinosaurs? come on now), JP3 (if you paid to see it, you'd know), Scary Movie 2, Next Friday, and Austin Powers 2. The last three failed in casting the best people from the first movie. Scary movie- Lochlyn Monroe, Shannon Elizabeth, and Jon Abrahams (while casting Torri Spelling instead), sure these characters died in the original, but so did the Wayans Bros. Next Friday- without a doubt missed Chris Tuckers antics. AP2- No Elizabeth Hurley, while being replaced by Heather Graham who relies more on her looks than her acting. The genius of American Pie 2 is that every single character from the original came back to do the sequel (Even minute characters like The Sherminator and Jim's Mom). The first film captured the audience and made us feel for these characters. We laughed, cried, and were embarrassed with them. For a movie about "getting some" this was no easy task. Yet the original PIE pulled it off in spades. So naturally, a chance to find out what happened next to these lovable characters would be relished by fans of all ages. And AP2 delivers the goods. Remember what I said about the formula? This sequel had the exact same formula, yet remained fresh and funny. The opening scene where Jim gets caught..."pleasuring himself" has a parallel scene were Jim's parents surprise him at college while he's being intimate with a lady friend (Not giving anything away, everyone saw it in the preview). Stifler drinking the "Stale Ale" has a rival scene that was equally hilarious. Jim getting intimate with the apple pie has a parallel scene in which he glues himself....to himself (again, given away in the preview). The ever popular "Nadia scene" has an equally raunchy part in the middle involving lesbians. And the party at the end where everybody gets satisfied has a similar ending in the sequel including a surprise visit (don't want to spoil it for you). In saying this though, it still is fresh and different. Jim for instance actually visits band camp to get pointers on his lacking sexual performance from Michelle, his old flame that used him in the first film. She refreshingly has a larger role in the sequel. The gang also goes to a beach house for the summer and Fynch has an obsession with the ancient form of Tantra. So there are certainly different things to look for in this movie. I was tentative to see American Pie 2 because I held the original PIE on such a lofty pedistal. Also, I was really fired up to see Scary Movie 2, and it was average at best. But I assure you that AP2 is not just another horrible sequel that only serves the purpose of bringing down the original. If anything, it will make you love the original more. Best sequel ever? Absolutely. (*****)

Summary: Relentless, rowdy fun!
Review: Well, who says that a great movie needs to be serious, philosophical and full of drama? AP2 is non of the above, and yet it's great - I haven't had that much fun in a movie-theater in a long time! Here is the plot very briefly: the entire cast from the AP1 returns from their freshman year in college, and each one of the five musketeers is having a problem - Jim is concerned his performance in the sack; Oz's girlfriend went away to Europe for the summer, Kevin is still obsessing about Viki, Stifler is trying to sleep with anything that moves, and Finch is trying to sleep with Stifler's mom. As a collective solution to everyone's problems they decide to rent a beach house, and the hell breaks loose. The script is outrageous - the writers really stick it to you without holding back and sparing your senses - the movie essentially takes the approach "everything you wanted to know about sex and never dared to ask," as the sex theme is exploited in all possible forms, shapes or manifestations, and needless to say that all of them are hysterical! The movie is simply hilarious - you are guaranteed two hours of unceasing laughter. American Pie 2 is much better than AP1, and definitely makes one of the funniest comedies I've seen in a while. Go see it!

Summary: The funniest, sickest movie of the summer!
Review: This movie was the funniest movie I have seen this summer! It starts crackin you up from the first scene, to the last scene, with newer and better ideas from the original! It starts off to get the movie started with on Jim's(Jason Biggs) last day of colledge, he's doin it on the bed with a girl, when his dad walks in! Then he starts studdering and pacing through the room, then he walks out really fast. Then he comes back in starting to give a lecture on why it is perfectly normal to do things like this. Then his mom walks in, and goes crazy, but doesn't leave! Then the girls parents walk in. So now the whole family in the dorm room, while Jim and this girl are butt naked underneath the covers! It was the funniest thing I have ever seen, and this was just the start! This movie was like this for the whole thing, from lessons on how to give better sex, to lesbians, to Stiflers mom! It was the funniest movie of the summer I will say again, and I highly recomend seeing it. BUT, YOU NEED AN ADULT TO SEE IT BECAUSE THE THEATRE ASKS FOR ID!

Summary: American Pie 2: Lightly exaggerated amounts of some things..
Review: I have not seen the original American Pie, but was told a lot about it. I watched American Pie 2 and almost laughed my head off, though some of the jokes were not imaginative, just raw and stupid. Some of the scenes (Amber and Danielle, Jim and Michelle, Jim's superglue, the opening party (Stifler got some "champagne" poured on him)) were funny, as well as the one where Finch goes off with Stifler's mom... Anyway, I really like this movie, but unfortunately, people must learn that sex scenes won't make movies good...

Summary: "A Great sequel to the original"
Review: I saw American Pie 1 when I was 09 years old! I was very young and I didn't know what it was about! I had pay- per view free and they started to show that novie so I decided to watch it. After I watched it I told my sister and she didn't want me to watch that movie! I loved the movie I wanted to buy it. So when it was my birthday I tryed to buy the VHS edition of American Pie (i DIDN'T HAVE A DVD BACK THEN BUT I DO NOW) My mom read the back of the movie and didn't let me buy it. 2 years later in 2000 I finally got a DVD player. My dad always gets me movies and he never reads the descriptions. One night I asked him to buy me the UNCENSORED version of the movie ON DVD! He bought me it. My sister tried to take it away but I hid it from my mom and my sister. After about one year they gave up. Just about a month ago I found out about American Pie 2! I knew my mom would never have let me go! So about one week later I found out that UNIVERSAL PICTURES came out with THE AMERICAN PIE ULTIMATE EDITION DVD! And it came with a FREE American Pie 2 TICKET! I got my dad to buy me that too! I finally got the DVD! I reccomend it! The ULTIMATE EDITION has loads of extra features that the regular edition of AP1 doesn't have! It has Poster Concepts, Deleted Scenes, Tonic Concert Video, AP2 sneak preview and A American Pie 2 trailer. When my mom found out about me going to see the movie she wouldn't let me see it! I had to see the movie because (I am a male) and I am A HUGE fan of Shannen Elizabeth (Nadia) So my sister lied for me and said that we went to go see THE OTHERS! Of course I seen AP2 ALONE! So far . . . JIM, is still srooling over Nadia but when he finds out that she is coming he is needy to find some quick lessons! OZ, is still the nice jock that loves Heather. HEATHER, is still the determined girl that persues to fulfill her dreams to travel around the world. NADIA, is still the hot chick who is more intrested in having sex with nerds but soon finds love with CHUCK SHERMAN! MICHELLE, is still going to band camp. STIFLER, is still a popular jock. SHERMAN, is still the stupid dork who still has the TERMINATOR moto! FINCH, is still upsessed with Stifler's mom and is now with the chinese theme other than latin. KEVIN, is still trapped in the past trying to figure out what wrong with him and Vicky. VICKY, is still the hot blonde that is now moving on (without Kevin) JIM'S DAD, is still the coolest dad on the earth. Review: This movie in every possible way surpasses its prequel! It's funnier, raunchier, and far more outrageous - in a positive way. Expect to see a reunion of all your favorite characters from the first... yup, they're all back. Every single one of them. So if you haven't already gone to see this movie, put it up there on your to-do list. Watching this movie is a must!
