Review: Pun-Smoke brings us deep (deeper than I ever thought I would want to go) into the O. Henry National Pun competition, held annually in Austin, Texas.
The filmmakers tenderly and humorously portray a wonderful cast of characters walk a verbal tightrope in their pursuit of national pun champion.
From the long form pun (a five minute monologue or skit using puns) to the exciting, fast-paced pun battles (a back and forth duel on a certain subject), Pun-Smoke will keep you laughing and in awe of the competitors verbal dexterity.
The bonus features bring us further behind the scenes, into the minds of these punsters. Beware, after one viewing you will find yourself obsessed with speaking in puns (much to your friends dismay) and will view language in a different, rather twisted way.

Summary: Pun-tastic
Review: This is probably the most entertaining film I've seen in a while. The characters involved are equally lovable and annoying making for great entertainment. I recommend this film to anyone with an intelligent sense of humor. It's a nice amalagamtion of Spellbound and A Mighty Wind.
