Review: This is a grotesque portrayal of a truly sick teen popular culture. The main character is a rich sixteen-year-old girl who not only is vacuous and spoiled but actually takes great pride in living her life in this pathetic way. Most or all of her friends have similar attitudes or lifestyles. In short, this movie was not good; it was bad and it was ugly. If you were intrigued by the few redeeming qualities of Cher, such as her interest in helping other people find happiness, read Jane Austen's novel Emma, which Clueless is based upon. Emma is full of well-mannered, cultured characters and dialogue; it contains none of the offensive mannerisms or sick humor of Clueless--the worst film of 1995, and one of the saddest, most pathetic movies you will ever see.

Review: This movie was so 'totally' stupid. The show is even worse. The only reason worth watching is to see what clothes you would like to buy. The high school is so fictional! Everyone in Bervely Hills in high school does not carry a cell phone and all the girls aren't always into the mirror. The fact that Cher's and Dione's dork outreach program flipped on them shows they can't dress anyone else but their ownselves. They act so ditzy it makes me want to puke!!! The moral of the movie is.....WHATEVER!

Summary: American phrases used annoyed me. Funny film though.
Review: This film is really not my type. All the repetitive phrases used in the film really annoyed me. "O Puleeeese!" (O Please), "As Iiiiff" (As if) "Whateverrrrr" (Whatever), "Helloooo" (Hello). It made me want to vomit all over my computer.It had some funny moments. I can credit it for that and the acting was very good. But in all of these teenage, American programmes and films, the American phrases really annoy me.

Summary: Bomb; an embarrassing debacle for the film industry
Review: If I might open my review in French, I should like to say: À bas de Clueless! (I did study theater vocabulary, but forgot how to say "bomb", so I said "Down with Clueless!" instead.) This movie is a highly offensive portrayal of a hideously "cool" and ignorant Beverly Hills teen and her equally pathetic and vacuous friends. The most sickening aspect of her warped personality is that she cherishes being the ignorant, stereotypical, depth-free person whom she is; indeed; it is her entire existence. The movie was not good; it was bad and it was ugly. If, however, you are intrigued by certain other aspects of her personality which are less annoying and, in fact, interesting and worthy of further study--such as her desire to help others find happiness, usually by leading them to true love in order to forget her own loneliness--read Jane Austen's novel Emma. Emma is the novel from which Clueless is adapted (the only credit which those who produced this movie can claim is that they admit it is based on Emma); anyone who would read it rather than watch this movie is making a very prudent decision, for unlike Clueless, Emma is full of cultured and well-mannered characters, in addition to being quite charming and entertaining. Whether or not you deign to read Emma, you cannot imagine the boon you grant yourself by choosing not to watch Clueless-a sick portrayal of a truly sick popular teen culture.

Summary: The ultimate good fun, happy movie!
Review: I want Cher's life! This would have to be one of the best movies out - especially for teen viewers! And the clothes, what can I say!? It is one of those movies you can watch over and over and still be entertained and amused by the lifestyle etc! It's never boring because there is always something new to see!!!! My No. 1 choice! The only downside, when the credits come up at the end and you realise you have to return to your own, dull real life in comparison!!!
