Summary: Charming and light
Review: Smarmy little comedy about a sassy advertising executive (Viveca A. Fox) who thinks she knows everything about men but is one day thrown for a loop when her seemingly perfect, trustworthy boyfriend (Morris Chestnut) is caught on a date with another woman. Fox decides to implement her 10-day punishment program, designed to get the guy down on his knees begging for forgiveness and reinstatement in the relationship. Told in intimate narration style with Fox directing her comments straight at the camera, the film never reaches its full comedic potential, but is extremely enjoyable and amply examples both the male and female side of the conundrum it is exploiting. None of the characters ever become cloying (except for David Krumholtz's annoyingly heartless stereotype of a gay male secretary), though one would wish for more scenes involving Fox's girlfriends, as they provide some real gems for the story (especially comedienne Mo'nique as the self-proclaimed "Ghetto Glamour" girl). No real disappointments here, though.

Summary: Great Acting
Review: The acting in this movie was great. Vivica A. Fox plays Shante, a woman who catches her boyfriend Keith (Morris Chestnut) cheating with her rival Conny (Gabrielle Union). This movie is funny and the stars do great jobs, especcially Union. If you liked "How To Be A Player", "The Brothers", "The Wood", and movies like that you will love this.

Review: The first time I seen this movie, it was at three o'clock in the mourning at one of htose hotels with those ... beds that you can't sleep on and it was on our free HBO television. See the movie is about this woman who tries to control her boyfriend with her stupid rules. She talks to the camera as if she is talking to you and she is giving you advice with your man. However, it turns out that you shouldn't be playing the game the way she turns out to be playing it. But unfortantely, you get to see the outcome before you take her advice, her friends couldn't and they suffered from her advice. But you see when she finds out that her own boyrfiend is "cheating" on her. You may wonder what the ""'s mean. See he told her that he was working late- which he was, it was just after he had finished he went out with a friend to a club. But you see this friend of his was actually his girlfriend's arch rival. And she catches him there in the club when she is with her female friends. She doesn't sweat it though. She has her plan that will get him back in line IMMEDIATLY. However, her plan doesn't work when her boyfriend starts listening to his best friend. They both sit desperately and try to make each other jealous by hanging all over other guys and girls. Eventually the games end and the two get together- now was that predicatable? LOL. But it doesn't matter. Trust me this is a really good movie that you should be ordering immedaitly. Well that's all and I am so out. HOLLA!

Review: The movie has the characters that you liked and scenes that are funny. But I didn't like the story. I am not a game player when it comes to relationships so I had lost interest.

Review: The truth shall set you free. I kept hearing mixed reviews. Some said they liked it, others said they didn't. I liked it. It was better than I thought it would be as a matter of fact. If you are having doubts...get the movie. I AM!!! It is good!

Summary: Girl, you play more games than the NBA!
Review: This is a highly amusing movie about the things women have to do to make their men behave. What makes it all so funny is the grain of truth in all that Shante (Vivica A. Fox) tells her audience via speaking directly into the camera a la Zack Morris of "Saved By The Bell".Shante is 28, gorgeous, highly successful and always counseling and helping her 3 best girl friends Tracey, Karen and Deirdre (played with hilarity and aplomb by the divine Mo'Nique of UPN's The Parkers.) All three are in the throes of a messy relationship to which Shante tells them to kick their broke man to the curb. Until something similar happens to Shante and her man Keith. Now the shoes is on the other foot and Shante starts her 10-day plan to make her man behave. It is funny, especially when Shante goes to church and participates in a too-close "church hug" with a man there in front of Keith's friend (Men love to gossip as much as women, says Shante, and she's right.) As the days progress and Shante continues to be right, you wonder when she won't be. The law of averages says that time is coming, and you wonder if that will be before or after she reconciles with the wayward Keith (who is playing his own games, as the film reveals.) It is hilarious and too true. Watch this for a good laugh.

Summary: Two Can Play That Game
Review: This is perhaps the best romantic comedy I've ever seen. Vivica's character catches her man out on the dance floor when he said he'd be working late. He explains but she's determined to keep him in line by punishing him. It's hilariously funny and very romantic. A must see!

Summary: Give me a break
Review: This movie had too many production issues. Even though I love to watch Vivica Fox, her narration in this movie annoyed the heck out of me. She talked to the camera WAY too much for the movie's own good. Anthony Anderson was the only character that I truly liked in the movie. His attitude and playful posturings was a refreshing change of pace to the (numerous) annoying crying and whining scenes. I have to ask one question to Morris: Why did you do this movie? Are you that desperate for money? Are time really that bad? It started off really bad, but got interesting towards the middle, then it ended predictably. Hands down one of the worst of the new "blackploitative" films of our era. Do yourself a favor, see this movie when it's in the $1.99, 5 day rental section of Blockbuster. You'll still have overpaid though.

Summary: Enough Truth In This Movie
Review: This movie is pretty much on point concerning relationships and the games we play to see how far we can go and to see how much a person cares. Two Can Play That game is a tasteful movie with a lot of Humor. Vivica Fox as Shante does a good job narrating this movie. She acctually gives good advice about how to conduct yourself in some areas of relationship problems. Morris Chestnut, Mr. Fine Himself, also did a good job, potraying how men really feel, it's not always I dont Give a Care about her. Men have feelings too. I can appreciate a movie like this, It's nothing extrodinary, but a movie you wouldn't mind discussing with friends and family. Also, Good Performances by Gabriel Union and Anthony Anderson. Check it Out.
