Rating: Summary: Film OK, music GREAT! Review: This is a DVD / CD combination, it is not two discs as amazon claims, but one, with the DVD on one side, the CD on the other. the DVD contains not just the film 'Slitch', but also a music video of Palace's song 'Come In', performed by David Pajo (of 'Papa M') and Will Oldham (of 'Palace' and 'Bonnie Prince Billy', among other projects, of course). The music video is also made by Dianne Bellino, the director of the film 'Slitch'. The movie is interesting, very much along the lines of a simpler 'Virgin Suicides', in the sense that female adolescence and sexuality are its main theme. Will Oldham also stars as a sex/ love interest. Though not necessarily a fundamental purchase for the film, certainly worth it for the soundtrack, especially if you're familiar with the musical talents of David Pajo and Will Oldham, who here perform together under the moniker 'The Continental Op'.
