Summary: The best Stoner movie Ever!
Review: I suggest hitting a lot of pipes and then throw this classic on. yewl be laughing from start to finish. The funny part is neither yew or your friend will have even the slightest urge to act like the characters in the this movie.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A gov't commissioned film re: the evils of marijuana
Review: Hillarious in the beginning however does drag later on. What makes this film so interesting is that it was commissioned by the government to inform the public of the dangers of marijuana. The film however is based entirely on falacy and simply was a ploy to scare people into not smoking the drug. A wonderful display of gov't integrity - HaHa. It's pretty funny.

Summary: TEEN POT HEAD KILLS PARENTS WITH AXE!
Review: The perennial MIDNIGHT MOVIE. High-schoolers get mixed up with dope dealer who wants them all hooked for his own greedy purposes. Clever enough, he introduces them to Jazz, and before you know it, they're all smokin' an ounce a day, skipping thier school, and, yes, butchering thier parents. Rather sad this film WASN'T meant to be funny. Because it really is.

Summary: I love this movie ! !
Review: It's a propaganda film produced by the Government during the 1920's to portray the evils of marijuana; which is EXACTLY why it's so entertaining. If you wish to see a quality film, this is not the movie for you. However, if you're looking to laugh, I highly recommend it. For those of you interested, I also suggest "The Trip".

Summary: a pretty funny propaganda flick
Review: what some people don't realize is that this movie was sponsered by the U.S. Treasury as a propaganda flim about the 'devil weed' marijuana. Its a very laughable example of the media blitz put out by the government in the 1920's and 30's to get people aginst marijuana. If you enjoy a good laugh, check it out. END

Summary: Reefer Madness a film thats not worth it's hype
Review: I found reefer madness to be a "DRAG" of a movie it was explotive Boring and contained not one piece of storyline that was even mildly intresting whatsoever the actors were amateur the ending was like something you would expect to see in some kindergarden play put together in about five minutes. The only satifying point of the movie was the closing credites because you realize this piece of garbage is over. The plot is about as complicated as a roadrunner cartoon some kid's try marjuana get hooked on it kill a women ,run over a man with a car, get sent to jai,l go crazy and get put into an institution . If you enjoy boring pieces of garbage this movies for you... END

Summary: TELL YOUR CHILDREN!!!
Review: After hearing about this movie for years I finally picked it up, and its better than I ever expected. This one dude smokes a reefer and appears to drive around the block 2 times then hits this old man and then he drives away. oh, yeah, this other guy named Ralph really loves his reefers, he smokes a few hits, then laughs, then he falls in love with Mary, he tries to win her heart by ripping her clothes off and groping her. It doesnt really work out for Ralph, because his fanciful advances cause Mary to get capped, and then Jimmy gets blammed for it because he's a total dork. In the end everything works out, because this stupid girl spills the beans to judge turtlehead, and Jimmy gets aquitted then the stupid girl jumps out of the window. all in all I loved this movie, it really opened my eyes to the evils of the demon weed. thanks for saving me from a life of crime and dispair Reefer Madness!

Summary: STANDS THE TEST OF TIME...OVER AND OVER AGAIN
Review: I love popping this movie in every year or so. It is hilarious.
Made in the mid thirties to educate the masses on the dangers
of that most evil weed "marijuana". It has become a cult classic.
The message is "beware, one toke will turn your sons into crazed
killers, and your daughters into wild sex fiends".
If only finding a sex fiend was that simple. Oh, sorry, my mind
was wondering a bit there.
Dave O'Brien is great as one of those wild eyed, jittery, crazed
addicts who's mind has been destroyed from just a few tokes of
the killer weed.
Killer weed, you say? There goes my mind again, sorry.
Dorothy Short is not far behind, as her moral values quickly go
up in smoke.
This is a fun movie, best enjoyed with a few friends in a smoky
room.
Thanks, and keep the flame lit.
Tom

Summary: Reefer Madness! - Cult Classic
Review: As everyone knows this movie is the 1930's equivalent of an "afterschool special" - with dire warnings to parents and students alike to avoid deadly "marihuana" addiction. (This movie came on the heels of federal laws making marijuana illegal a few years earlier (1935 or 6, I think). It's an interesting glimpse into the early origins of America's early "Just say no!" style campaigns, utilizing new forms of media / technology.

Summary: Smoke Gets in Your Eyes
Review: The original title is "Tell Your Children." aka Dope Addict (1938), aka Doped Youth (1938), aka Love Madness (1938), aka Burning Question, The (1939), aka Reefer Madness (1947).

This is an educational movie that shows you what they do not want you to know about the seamy side of burning hemp.

A tale by Dr. Carroll (Joseph Forte) of May Colman (Thelma White) and Jack Perry (Carleton Young) distributors. Their dealings with high school students that look like they flunked a few grades. There are many overlapping scenarios; one is which Ralph, under the influence, helps Mary with her inhabitations towards disrobing. Some time during this trying evening Mary is all shot. Others are rundown and some Grin and grin and grin and bear it.

A side note Mary and Ralph (Dorothy Short and Dave O'Brien) in real life were married to each other at the time of the movie.

You may just want rent this film first as it is not really one for re-watching.
