Review: Best:1) Many parts are extremely hilarious, just like you might expect.
2) The touching scenes were not overdone, so a good comedy feel was maintained throughout.
3) It makes you think about the nature of lying in general (but not much).
4) There are special features including a documentary, outtakes and director commentary. Worst: 1) You have to really get into Jim Carrey's rubbery, slapstick antics quick to really love the whole movie. He takes a lot of getting used to for some people. Recommendation: This instant classic is a must-have for any serious comedy movie collector. Get it - get it - get it.

Playing Fletcher reed He decideds to just lie in court. His son Max makes a birthday wish, and, well, I guess God heard his crie, because for 24 hours Fletcher cannot lie.
This is one hilarious mive. im saying whatevers n his mind is the best thing. "The pen is blue. The pen is blue. The G*****n pen is BLUE!~!!"
The blooper reel at the end is a nice touch.

Review: A lawyer/father who lies. Nothing new. Son wishes father would stop lying, and the son gets his wish. The lawyer/ father has important cases coming up and he can't work becuse he can't lie! hahaha. Fun film. Good for all ages to see.

Summary: Top 5 Jim Carry Movie!
Review: This isn't my favorite movie, but top five on the Jim Carry list. The idea that a man who lies all the time can't lie for one day is hillaroious! I read a review that said this isn'y a family movie. First of all, you shouldn't complain that the movie isn't for kids. DON'T LET YOUR KIDS WATCH IT IF IT'S NOT FOR THEM!! And second, the movie isn't too bad. I highly reccomend seeing this movie!!! And also, see Bruce Almighty (another Carry flick) You'll love it!

Summary: VERY FUNNY!
Review: I have been reading so many books that I am afraid I am way behind on all the great movies out there. Liar, Liar is one I am glad that I finally got to see.
Jim Carrey does an outstanding job playing a very busy lawyer who never seems to have time for his great son Max, to the point that he misses his birthday party which totally crushes Max.
Leave it to a child to have the faith that a miracle can happen and Max makes a wish that Dad will not be able to lie for
an entire day, and this wish comes true.
Well, now the laughs begin as 'Lawyer Dad' must go in the courtroom and lead his life unable to even tell one little white lie. I laughed myself silly! However, this movie did not leave out the tender parts as it finally comes to an end with Dad realizing just how important speaking the truth and keeping a promise can be, especially to those he loves.
I thought this movie was very good and truly enjoyed it!

Summary: Forcing Lawyers to be truthful, what a concept!
Review: A story about a lawyer that can't lie! Of course all states have rules that a lawyer must be disbarred for allowing a false statement to enter the courtroom. This movie takes the notion that most people share, that lawyers are paid liars, and creates a humor comic devise. A lawyer that must tell the truth! The movie is even family friendly. I Didn't see this when it first came out. It was much better than I expected. Not as good as pet detective, but it is an interesting premise, and Carrey did a great job carrying it off.

Review: I love this movie! For any dumb and dumber fan I would strongly suggest it. Fletcher Reed is a successful lawyer who can't go a day without lying.On his sun Max's birthday he would rather fool around with his boss than come to his own sun's birthday.But when Max makes a wish blowing out his candles he wishes that for only one day his father could not tell a lie.For the next day,Fletcher finds out how much he lies each day and how much he needs and misses it, but in the end finds out that the truth shall set you free.This hillarious laugh out loud comedy will leave you gasping for air by the end!!!

Review: Typical and offers few laughs but this obvious film by Jim Carrey is by- the- numbers comedy he did better films like THE MASK,DUMB AND DUMBER,ACE VENTURA:WHEN NATURE CALLS,THE TRUMAN SHOW,AND THE MAJESTIC.this one features lawyer Fletcher Reede always making lies and ignoring his son's life also jealous of his ex-wife Audrey and her sensitive boyfriend Jerry.but the film loses steam on Carrey's frenetic mugging,slapstick,and crude humor of sexual and blue pen jokes.
