Summary: I laughed at every scene!
Review: This movie is hilarious. I have this on DVD and it is one of my favorites. The outtakes were pretty funny too except when I ordered this movie on Pay Per View I got pretty disappointed that the movie was unrated and not the original that was released in theaters but it's still funny. I just hope that they will come out with a TV series one day called "East Great Falls High" that would be sweet! Let me give you guys some advice the rated version is the original version that was released in theaters and the unrated version has the new scenes that wasn't in the theater. But if I were you get the rated version because it's alot better than the unrated.

Summary: The funniest film I have seen in ages
Review: This is definetly a film to get if you like comedies. It will have you laughing your pants off all the way through the movie. It is a perfect view of teen trauma through high school. There are so many aspects of this film, that at one point in your teen life you will be able to relate to this film. It has an excellent crop of aspiring actors and actresses who seem to have a good vibe between them on film.

I would recommend this film as a must see.

Summary: GREAT FUNNY Movie - DISAPPOINTING Unrated Version
Review: I've seen "American Pie" a few times. All those times, I've loved it. When the DVD came out, we got the R-Rated version so that we could enjoy the same experience we had in theaters. However, I noticed that the UNRATED version was Number 2 on the list, and the R-Rated version was somewhere around Number 14. So, I rented the UNRATED version.

**THERE IS LESS THAN 30 SECONDS OF NEW FOOTAGE IN THE UNRATED VERSION**

This kind of ticked me off... My advice, get the RATED version. It's just as funny as it will ever be.

Summary: Sure it's sophomoric, but.......
Review: I really liked this movie. No, it's not American Grafitti, or even Animal House (both of which I loved) but it is a cut above the normal teen party flick. There were some fairly realistic characters and I think that Eugene Levy, of SCTV fame, does an incredible job as the concerned (if a little bungling) father.

The DVD has a clear anamorphic widescreen transfer, nice menus, and a decent array of extra content. The outtakes were a little stale, and the only thing that appeared to be different from the standard R-rated version was the location of the "pie" and the offending teen when caught in the act. Overall a nice package compared to the VHS version.

My wife, who usually passes on this type of film, even enjoyed it.

Summary: American Pie
Review: This movie had a real advantage to being avoided because of stupid grown up rumors, but 9 times out of 10 adults are wrong and I think this movie was the coolest perv. movie I've ever seen. I rated it a 5 because that's what's really going on out there and it's funnier than hell!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great Pie; like home made
Review: I bought the movie before I'd seen it. I was not disappointed at all. It was a great comedy which showed things the way they really are. This is a movie you don't watch with your parents even though the ones on the movie are the coolest.

Summary: stupid
Review: This movie was so unfunny! You could see all the jokes coming from a mile ahead, and they weren't shocking because you already knew from the ads what happened. People that sit and watch this and laugh their heads off are pretty sad if you ask me. They think they're so wild and crazy cuz they saw a movie that joked about - SEX! Yeah, man, living on the edge....

Don't waste your time with this bomb.

Summary: American classic
Review: On seeing the preview of this film, I really didn't want to go and see it - it looked like a Porky's for the 90's, really not my thang. But I thought it was great! It made me empathise with what boys go through - that poor guy and his apple pie! Embarrassment after embarrassment. It was clever how it seemed to be able to mesh grossness and sensitivity into one roller-coaster ride of fun! Chris Klein was gorgeous and Alyson Hannigan was adorably good! So many funny scenes. Possibly the most realistic teeny movie I've ever seen. Can't believe it's American (although that is obvious, seeing as where the pie comes from) It is a little kooky, which doesn't hurt. The dihorrea scene and the internet scene were both a little silly and far-fetched, but the rest was perfect! A loveable cast too. Ah, need I go on?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very funny movie.
Review: This movie will become a classic, kind of like Porkies only funnier. It is one you could watch again and again and always laugh. There are some gross parts, but is a great movie.

Summary: One time, at band camp...
Review: American Pie. Don't watch this movie if you're looking for a biography on Don McLean! What you'll find is a funny, irreverant, but sometimes sick movie. Anyone who's been through high school will be able to relate to nearly every scene in this movie, and will find humor at every turn. The only reason that this movie wouldn't receive 5 stars is due to some of the extremely graphic content, unfortunately geared towards teenagers. Other than that, this movie has a great screenplay and some very memorable scenes... this is a "can't miss" movie!
