Summary: The Good & the Bad
Review: Well, I am not going to say that this was a bad movie, but I was slightly disaappointed. It is billed as a comedy where it is fun laid back partiers versus the evil developer. Well the fight between the good guys and the bad guys last all of about 10 mins. the rest was just not much.

OK, the good, was that the snowboarding in the movie was incredible. The sequences that they pulled off were great. I also found several of the characters to be affable. The love interest in the movie was done quite well. Lee Majors was incredible. I definately think that he nailed his roll as the flambouyant real estate developer. Also, the talkative red neck played a great part. The pranks that are pulled on the guy who is passed out are inventive and funny.

THE BAD: I did not find this movie to be all that funny. In fact I did not really laugh all that much. Also, the "King of the Mountain Race" clearly stolen from the classic Hot Dogs did not even come close to living up to it's potential.
The only real humorous part in this movie were the pranks played on the passed out guy. Other than that I was left extremely disappointed, and angry with the movie poster that call this Animal House on Ice. How dare someone compare this movie with a true comedy classic.

THE SKINNY: If you love good snowboarding sequences, than you should pick this flick up. Just dont expect to much humor as a disappointment is eminent.

Summary: A great comedy!!!
Review: Well, I think Out Cold is just one of the best comedies out there. I totally recommend this movie, to anyone that enjoyed at least a bit movies such as American Pie series, Road Trip, Eurotrip,... It's just one of those movies, that makes you watch it over and over and over again. It has some seriously hilarious jokes in it. The best ones are those, which are featuring the two brothers. Beside these jokes, you also have a few really nice girls in this movie, especially A.J. Cook.
Well I swear aou will enjoy this movie. It is a must have for any student out there. The perfect movie to watch, if you want to laugh and laugh and laugh.

Summary: Genious, thats all you can say
Review: What better way can you make a movie than to base it on crazy people having a good time? Then to cap it off it revolves around snowboarding! This is a non stop laugh fest, with hardly little, if any romantic twist to ruin it. It definitley ties in to the teen movie genre but without all the romance, just having fun. All the stuff they do to the guy with the beard is hilarious! Go out and buy this one, you won't regret it.

Summary: Bourgeoisie + Bong Jokes = Fun - Just Don't Think Too Hard
Review: Who knew complete inanity could be so fun? Apparently music video veterans Brendan and Emmett Malloy, whose debut film, Out Cold, practically drips the kind of nonsensical stupidity that made movies like Hot Dog... The Movie famous - if, by famous, you mean cult classics. The previews basically say it all: a bunch of permanently-sodden snowboarders do stupid stuff, cool tricks, and have a hell of a lot of fun, while producing laughs aplenty.

See, there's this guy, Rick (Jason London, To Wong Foo), a snowboarder and instructor in the tiny Alaskan hamlet of Bull Mountain. Bull Mountain is basically the kind of place where you can go and do whatever the hell you want, a Dionysian Cicely where Rick has surrounded himself with friends Anthony (Flex Alexander, She's All That), Luke (Zach Galifianakis, Corky Romano), Pigpen (Derek Hamilton, Disturbing Behavior) and Lance (David Denman, The Replacements). Rick wants to date Jenny (A.J. Cook, The Virgin Suicides), but can't seem to get over a fling he had with a Lolita-like girl he met in Cancun (Caroline Dhavernas, Lost and Delirious).

When real-estate developer John Majors (Lee Majors, the Colonel from "The Six Million Dollar Man") shows up to turn the town into a yuppie haven of sushi bars, espresso machines, and Porsches with chains on the tires, Rick and company realize it spells the death of their happy-go-lucky lifestyle and decide that freedom is more important than yuppie dollars. They then devise an Animal House plan to get their town back. Along the way, the humor ranges from slapstick (getting your male parts caught in a Jacuzzi) to satire (some excellent semi-spoof scenes from Casablanca, Fight Club, and Gladiator) to Cheech and Chong-style bong jokes. Yes, there's something in this film for everyone, and if you can't at least find one of the stupid things that goes on in Out Cold to laugh about, you might to check your pulse and thaw yourself out a bit.

We had better get used to this 'Tween Time for the next few years - the time between when the most recent Harry Potter film debuts and the next Lord of the Rings installment hits theatres. Studios are rolling out their lowest-rung fare to try and scrape a few bucks away from the approximately 40 American moviegoers who won't be at those movies. The problem is that Out Cold got nestled in with the rest of the tripe, and is going to get far less attention than it probably deserves. If you're tired of Potter and waiting for Frodo, perhaps it's time to get out in the cold.

Summary: The Best Stunt Snowboarding Movie
Review: Wow I did not know that this movie would be so good. Funny humor, awesome stunts, and plus I like the DVD outtakes at the end of the movie. IF you like movies with cool stunts, a good sense of humor buy the movie. It will be a classic. And trust the critics.
