Rating: Summary: GREAT! Review: This is a great movie, wanna know why? CINDY WILLIAMS! Cindy Williams makes anything great! And this movie, though the cheap looking sets, was great! The thing you have to view it as is a spoof. It's supposed to be stupid! The song though, is what makes the movie. "I want to eat your face!" LOL! And Cindy's duet with John at the end of "Bachelor Bills" is SO good! Cindy you are GREAT!
Rating: Summary: GENIUS! Review: This is a hilarious send-up of outer space movies, with some great musical numbers! Director Bruce Kimmel also stars as "John", the timid space-crew guy, along with the awesome Leslie Nielsen and Cindy Williams. No, it's not a big-budget, hi-tech affair, but it has plenty of heart and some great comic acting and musical numbers.Bruce Kimmel also directed "The First Nudie Musical", which is just fantastic. Hopefully it will be available on Amazon.com someday. It stars Cindy Williams, Bruce Kimmel, Diana Canova, and even has a cameo appearance by Ron Howard! The songs are perfectly hilarious too.
Rating: Summary: Naked Space Review: This is a rare gem. A classic "B" spoof this is a lot of fun. The thing is that Leslie is not the funniest person. Two unknowns show him up. Great Musical number with the singing monster.
Rating: Summary: Leslie Nielsen & Patrick MacNee - A match made in Heaven? Review: This is a silly little film, funnier than most stuff they show on tv. Leslie Nielsen is sort of Captain Kirk and Captain Picard rolled into one, if you scooped out their brains first. Patrick MacNee, always great to see, is the evil scientist who is willing to risk anything to have something named in his honor. And if you've been wondering what Cindy Williams has been up to these days, here's your answer - she's the morale officer on this ship of fools. Try it, you'll like it.
Rating: Summary: Really not worth it Review: This is the 80s movie "The Creature Wasn't Nice" re-titled to cash in on the success of Nielsen's "Naked Gun" movies. It has some good ideas, but it completely lacks any sense of timing. It all comes across as slow and unrehearsed. The big highlight of the movie, when the creature sings "I want to eat your face", could have become a camp favorite if they'd have picked up the tempo and cut out at least 2 minutes of the song. Even the guy in the creature costume acts like he's wondering when the song will end--he completely runs out of schtick before it does. Most people wouldn't expect much from a [inexpensive] DVD, and this movie proves them right. You could come up with a hundred better ways to waste an hour-and-a-half, I'm sure.
Rating: Summary: Extremely funny Review: This movie is a non stop laugh riot! Leslie Nielsen is at his comedic best in this one. I would highly recommend seeing this comedy masterpiece.
Rating: Summary: Awful, but worth it for one scene Review: This movie is one of the most god-awful satires I've ever seen, but fans of unintentional self-parody may enjoy Bruce Kimmel's antics. That said, the scene in which the monster sings "I want to eat your face" has got to be the funniest scene in any movie ever made.
Rating: Summary: Bad movie Review: This movie was bad, because Leslie Nielsen was not funny.
Rating: Summary: well there goes 5 dollars.... Review: well I saw this dvd at a local store for $5.00.Let me tell you,for this movie $5.00 is NOT a bargain. The sets often look like stage plays put together by a middle school! Before I saw it in the store I've never heard of it.It should have stayed that way.Anyway the reason that I picked this up is because I saw that it had Leisle Neilson boasted on the case.I've seen other Neilson movies like the wonderful Naked Gun triligy, and loved them! But dispite Leisle being the big picture on the case he only has a small role. And Leisle was not at his best.I'd like to sum it up by saying that everything else was at a devestating low,and that even at a low price I dont reconmend at all.
