Summary: Only for Leslie Neilson die hards
Review: Okay, this wasn't the greatest movie in the world. This movie did have some usual Leslie Neilson laughs in the screwball comedy-style tradition. For instance, Neilson goes into someone's room as a spy trying to be as quiet and careful as can be, and, as usual, winds up leaving the place a disaster area. If you aren't a die hard Leslie Neilson fan, then this might be a movie to pass on. However, this movie is funny in certain respects. I give this a movie a 3 stars. I felt like the plot was, as often in these comedies, as thin as a piece of paper. This movie was about 90 minutes and really could have been done in about 60. The ending scene tended to drag a little and didn't produce as much humor as I would have hoped. This is the kind of movie that is probably funnier to think about later after viewing than when actaully seeing it. That being said, I still think it is a funny movie.

Summary: For Insomniacs And Zombies Only.
Review: Poor Leslie Nielson. After making a couple of funny movies with the Zucker Bros (NAKED GUN series, AIRPLANE) he is now stuck with low grade spoofs. SPY HARD, DRACULA: DEAD AND LOVING IT, WRONGFULLY ACCUSED and now this, which is worse than any of the aforementioned. I won't bother going into detail because this is just not funny. In fact, its downright boring. Arthur C Clarke should sue the makers of this movie for playing on the title of 2001. If you're already dead from the neck up you may find something of merit in this movie, if not don't waste your time.

Summary: About Average...
Review: Space Travesty is a parody of several Sci Fi films, such as Fifth Element and Star Wars among others.
Though not a masterpiece (not even an average funny movie), it will provide for a few laughs. The casting is not bad, with Leslie Nielsen being his usual self, though not as good as we're used to seeing him. Average plot, average acting, below average humor (!!!), but the leading actresses are simply AMAZING!!! WOW...
Overall, it is a movie worth watching only for the FANTASTICALLY GORGEOUS Ophelie Winter and Alexandra Kamp-Groeneveld who are unbelievable! I would have given the movie two stars, maybe even one, were it not for these two.

Summary: A waste of Leslie Nielsen's talents
Review: The first part was promising, but the rest became very messy with a confusing plot and poor direction. The DVD release is not widescreen, for some unfathomable reason. A disappointment.

Summary: 2001- A space disaster
Review: The president has been cloned. It is up to Dick Dix (plural) to rescue him from an alien plot. Naturally his sidekick is a sexy blond (Ophélie Winter) and he encounters too many close encounters of the third kind.

In these days of diversity it is almost impossible to find a one star product. Well here it is. This poor film had no body to save it. The script has a superficial appearance but never follows through. The slapstick humor is not professional enough to get a giggle. Their timing is off and the mystery is not. This animal is not even in the same category as a spoof. If you see the first few minutes you have seen it all.

A note on the VHS edition. There is approximately 20 minutes of coming attractions that make you actually look forward to looking at this film. After five minutes of the film you will want to watch the coming attractions again instead.

Summary: hahahah halarius
Review: This movie is stupid. Yet most of Leslie Neilson movies are. Thats what makes them funny!!! This is halarius. He does a great job on doing his part in the movie, and the last seen is the funniest you will ever see.

Summary: Not the least bit funny.
Review: This review is of the Comedy Central broadcast. I'm only able to review part of this movie. I managed to get about half way through before I became bored and changed the channel. There is absolutely nothing about the first half of this movie to recommend. It failed to make me laugh even once. It even failed to coax a smile out of me. I can't find a single redeeming thing to say about this drivel, except that it only wasted one hour of my life rather than the two.

Summary: Laugh All Night Long
Review: Though some Leslie Nielsen can be a little over the top, he is better than some of these younger comedians that still have not mastered stupid comedy. My wife and I loved it and my Mom and Dad will laugh their butts off. I highly recommend this movie especially if you need a good laugh without using to much brain.

Summary: A Major Disappointment
Review: Travesty is right. This is one of those movies that tries so hard to be funny that it becomes terrible. It could have been so much better if the writers had done anything right.

Leslie Nielsen stars in this, but he is hampered by both bad writing and an awful supporting cast. Both throw his comic timing off, which makes it impossible for him to showcase his talents. Everything in this is lame, from the plot to the acting to the special effects. Scenes that are supposed to be funny are really more stupid.

It's sad that Leslie Nielsen has been pushed into doing garbage like this. He'd be much better served in a film that can better use his comic talents.
