Summary: A good family film - with only a few bowling words...
Review: I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. The language is just spicey enough to garner a PG-13 rating (sadly, so).

However, it is a cute and timeless story about re-evaluating what it is we're doing with our lives and our time and our money.

It is a wee bit predictable, but it is also a good message that society needs to hear again and again. And the ending was very sweet.

I watched it with my 13 year old daughter and the offensive scenes (squeaking beds and such) were vague enough to make it safe for most kids, in my maternal opinion.

Summary: What a dreadful movie!
Review: I'm a fan of both Tim Allen and Kirstie Alley and I was pretty excited to check this movie out. Not only was it boring as hell, it looked like a mess! I wish I had those 2 hours back! Avoid at all costs - rent GALAXY QUEST or DROP DEAD GORGEOUS instead!

Summary: A cute love story about a couple on the run from the IRS!
Review: In this movie a couple(Tim Allen,Kristie Alley) are a rich couple. They flee the IRS and end up in Amish coutry. The couple must become Amish to hide from the authorites. While there have many funny and strange adventures doing things as the Amish would do! They even have a fashion show! Finally the authorities catch up with them and the charges are dropped. This movie also stars Micheal Lerner(Godzilla,No Escape) and Wayne Knight(Seinfild,Jurassic Park)! The only problem I have with the movie it's too short!

Summary: Absolutely fabulous!
Review: Miss Alley as always shows the perfect play. And have you noticed how wonderful she looks in her rich and poor clothes!

Summary: Starts slow, but picks up quickly
Review: The first part of this film, which depicts the materialistic life of the Sextons, I found a bit slow, but I realize it was necessary to set the stage for the much much funnier part of the film, when Tim and Kirstie's characters hide out amongst the Amish. These roles were perfect for both Allen and Alley. Tim Allen is an underutilized talent - now that "Home Improvement" is done, I hope that he will do more films. Kirstie Alley is always terrific. A good little family movie.

Summary: SWEEEEEEEET
Review: The movie was funny, whitty, and all around a good time. I've read some "not so hot" reviews on it, and I say what the heck are all of you film reviewers talking about? It was an awesome show which I saw move than once. If you haven't seen it, YOU SHOULD! Tim Allen, and Kristie Alley do a superb job acting, and I think that the two of them should definately do another comedy together.

Summary: Adventures in Amish Land
Review: This film is all that it promises. Tim Allen's ultra rich character finds himself in trouble with the IRS after his swindling accountant (Seinfeld's Wayne Knight) embezzles millions from his company. Allen and wife Kirstie Alley find themselves on the run. They end up stranded together in an Amish town. To hide, the two pretend to be Amish. This leads to many funny situations. They learn some lessons from the Amish and mend their rocky marriage. This movie was very funny and much better than I thought it would be.
