Summary: giving this movie one star is like giving it life!
Review: First off i would just like to say that this review contains many spoilers and is very graphic about some things in the movie. Now the bottom line of this movie is to use some *cheesy* nudity and some quotes right out of the first one (Cruel Intentions). Cruel Intentions was a genius i workship that movie i loved Katherine Mourtiel (Mer-Toy). This movie does not even show you the character of Katherine rather it ruins it. The lines use such as "the premiere...of Manchester Prep" used before in the first one. The movie (no kidding you) reminded me of a soft-porn mixed with a parody of Cruel Intentions. OMG the worst thing I found about the movie is the actual "Manchester Tribunal" and the cheesy line which were actually taken right from the first one. Another thing that could just bother the heck out of you is the fact that the movie is not accurate! Sebastian is forcasted in the story to always have known Katherine and then finally move in with her. Sebastian ((Robert Dunne)) played his character to the fullest of this cheesy movie that no wonder was a direct to video release. Ok the ending was the worst I have ever seen, the worst. (sighs) the movie was so inaccurate and so cheesy it ruined the first one in a way. Poor Katherine and Sebastian, it's like watching a fake movie on your life. This is the worst movie ever to be put on the planet, and what adds to it is the promise of the first one.

Summary: MOST UNINTENTIONALLY FUNNY MOVIE EVER
Review: That's not a declaration I would make lightly, but this is IT! The most highly scoring movie on the unintentional comedy scale, EVER. The shower scene, the horse scene, and countless others, just gold. I might have to buy this movie. Everyone should at least rent it.

Summary: Potential watchers; Beware!
Review: Now usually I write favourable reviews, but this time I just had to make an exception and comment, or rather in this case, critize this thing they call a movie. Within the first five minutes you can tell Cruel Intentions 2 is a horrible waste of time and effort.
The acting doesn't even live up to the B-rate movie it is, and the script sounds like the writers found it at the bottom of the original Cruel Intentions set's wastebasket; the prequel even rips off even some of the same lines and tries to pass them off as original! The story is basically non-existent, and the main character Robin Dunne is especially insipid as a carbon copy of Sebastien without the emotion.
The other characters are just as meaningless and leave you with a sick feeling of regret that they didn't take the time to fully understand and appreciate the characters they were supposed to play. And the supposed 'twist'?! Are you supposed to be left feeling anything but happiness that the film is finally over? Don't get me wrong; the first Cruel Intentions is a wonderfully entertaining adaptation of Les Liasions Dangereuses, but the sequel is not even worth the tape protection.

Summary: It doesn't get any worse than this film!
Review: I am a fan of the original Cruel Intentions - it was brilliantly acted, engaging, fun and sexy. The sequel makes you realise how good the first one is, because it is so very very bad. It is a pathetic copy of the original formula, with any substance, wit, sympathy and talent taken out, and a large dose of soft porn thrown in. In the first movie, the writer knew a healthy dose of restraint carries something a long way. In this one, he cuts loose and loses anything interesting about it.

The scary thing is the plot and characters are nearly carbon copies of the original, but poorly executed in every possible way. The dialogue is absolutely dumb, and instead of firing witty lines that are so desperately needed, we get terribly unfunny one-liners and the shock tactics of (mock gasp)... the 'f' word.

It is kind of like the bad teen romp movies of the 80s, without the innocence, and with a real mean-spiritedness. The lack of inspiration and desperation to cash in on the original's success are glaringly obvious. It also seems like the writer was just really [lascivious]and needing to live out his fantasies through the creation of this film. I can imagine he conceived this as kind of taking the first Cruel Intentions where it didn't dare to go, but in crossing that line, it has not become more daring, but incredibly dull and stupid.

The worst thing is we are meant to believe these are the same characters and it's meant to give us an insight into how they got to where they were in the original movie. If you even for a second try to make that link it ruins the original characters for you. They are played without any of the spark and charisma the original actors had. The character who is a copy of Selma Blair's character is hideous - both in the concept of trying to mimic the personality of an entirely separate character (who was incredibly unique, and whose uniqueness and oddness is important to her interactions with the characters in the original - it makes their reactions to her in the original not believable if they'd already had someone exactly like her in their life) and in the acting (trying to copy Selma Blair's hilarious characterisation and failing miserably).

Even if the acting and dialogue were much much better, the sequence of events and the characters' actions do not make sense in the context of who they are in the 2nd movie. Note to Roger Kumble: if you need your high school fantasies lived out in your imagination, don't inflict it on the public, unless you have some inspiration and humour to go with it....

Summary: Not exactly your normal teen flick!
Review: As prequels go, this one really sets up how Sebastian came to the Big Apple to live with hsi dad, stepmom, and seductive stepsister, Katherine. "Seduce and destroy" is Katherine's motto,a dn nothing gets in her way except Sebastian. Of course as we know if you've viewed the original, Sebastian and Katherine are both playmates, which is kinda of out of the ordinary. This prequel ends with Sebastian turning into a seduce and destroyer. Rent the original, avoid prequels that are direct-to-video.

Summary: You're all wrong
Review: How can a movie with lesbian kissing, booby, no male nudity, and sub-par acting be bad? The blatant disregard for morals and values was great. How you can not appreciate the directer's ability to handle so many taboo subjects in one movie is beyond us. Now while your watching the begining, you might just think it is a cheezy, low budget version of the first one; it is the ending however shows how genius the movie was. At the very end, keep an eye out for the driver who fondles the freshmen girl. THIS IS A MODERN DAY CLASSIC IF THERE EVER WAS.

Summary: This movie is defenetly one of the worst films ever made
Review: I'm a HUGE fan of the original "cruel intentions" but this movie was a really BIG PIECE OF JUNK! The acting was awful and so was the cast. The story was wicked and twisted! Believe, this movie is not worth your time. And the ending was probably the WORST EVER!

Summary: Keep your friends close and your enemies closer!
Review: My first thought before watching this was how can anyone try and make a sequel to Cruel Intentions without Sarah Michelle Gellar and the other cast? But suprisingly this movie is good. It lacks the charm and perfect characterisation from the original cast but somehow it entertains. A lot of key lines are taken from the original such as 'keep your friends close and you enemies closer'. A lot of the plot is taken from the original but the actors pull of a seductive and quite funny movie. It would have been better with the original cast but hey these guys have done a good job!! After watching the movie I wished they had kept Manchester Prep on TV. A fun movie but no one could out do Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillepe, Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair.

Summary: 90 minutes of my life that I will never get back.
Review: This has got to be the worst movie that I have EVER seen. They took the script to Cruel Intentions(a movie I did like) and just did some cutting and pasting. They were the exact same lines and the exact same scenes. The plot to Cruel Intentions did cross some reality boundaries, however in comparison to this movie, the first was the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I am so disappointed in myself for not turning it off during the first scene. Now, you may be thinking, hey a movie with naked people in it...fun...but the people in this movie are not even attractive. If it's ever on cable and you can find nothing better to do, then maybe you could watch it for some comedy relief, but don't waste the $4 that it costs to rent it.

Summary: Truly insulting!
Review: As a fan of Cruel Intentions, knowing that it was a trashy teen flick, I was truly disappointed by Cruel Intentions 2. The first movie at least has a entertaining plot as it is based on Dangerous Liaisons, however "2" has a weak cast (excluding the hot lesbian twins) and steals far too many quotes from the original film - so much so that i was bored!! Bottom line; no plot, lame cast, un fulfilling 2 hours with no real ending.
