Summary: WASTE OF TIME
Review: I am a big baseball fan, so I forced myself to sit through the whole thing. This movie was very slow and it completely lost my attention. The combination of a strong cast and great original material (taken from the play) should have equaled a fun movie, THE ONLY GOOD PARTS WERE THE ONES WITH THAT CHEERLEADER HECKLING THE OPPOSING TEAM AND THEY SELDOM APPEARED. I do not recommend that you waste your evening on this movie. WATCH IT ON SHOWTIME INSTEAD

Review: Ignore the heckler in the stands below; this is a great film not just about baseball, or gambling, but about people and how they "win or lose." In this film, no one loses and the entire cast hits homeruns. I loved it.

Anyone know who did the great blues music featured in the film? I would love to have a CD of this as well!
