Summary: Stupid movie, even more stupid DVD
Review: Vibrant Cuba Gooding, Jr. and dim-witted Horatio Sanz are two love hungry guys who decide to take a cruise to pick up on some good old lady lovin', but end up being the only two straight guys on a very non-heterosexual cruise. The premise to this movie sounded like it could be really funny: two straight guys on a cruise full of gay men. You could definitly do some funny things with that, but Boat Trip just made it really sappy. It also was full of some really stupid and crude humor that really wasn't funny at all. I did like Cuba's performance and Roger Moore was just funny as hell as a gay guy, but other than that this movie was just flat out stupid. The film had a very choppy and unstable execution. And the extras on the DVD have to be the most worthless extras on a DVD I have ever seen. Who really cares about Tanning Tips with Playboy Playmates? Worthless.

Summary: "In England, we call them bangers.."
Review: Here's a movie that seems to have offended almost everybody. It's certainly different. Artisan Pictures snuck "Boat Trip" into theatres in early 2003, months after it's completion the year before. In 2002's "Boat Trip", Jerry and Nick are two cool Gen-X guys just looking for love; they get side-tracked onto a rollicking 5-day, non-stop European cruise. OOPS!! Too bad this cruise is just for gay guys! TV screenwriter-turned-director Mort Nathan has assembled a lively, fast-paced comedy that dares to pull it's pants down. Pardon me. His pants down. Gender-bending, gay-bashing, and outright homophobia clash with Swedish bathing beauties in this zippy, sparkling frolic. "Boat Trip" stars the remarkable Cuba Gooding Jr., and features Vivica Fox, Will Ferrell, and the delicious Puerto Rican Roselyn Sanchez. 74-year-old Roger Moore is nearly hysterical as a devilish gay queen. Flooded with bright, tropical colors, "Boat Trip" was shot in Cologne, Germany, and the alluring Greek Islands. This brand new 1.77:1 anamorphic widescreen DVD includes out-takes(not too good), deleted scenes, chapter stops, tanning tips(don't ask), a trivia track, trailers, and a documentary first aired on Showtime Cable last spring. "Boat Trip" doesn't take itself too seriously. And guess what, neither should you. Put aside 90 minutes, check your brains at-the-door, and be sure to buy a ticket for this "Boat Trip".

Summary: Utter Crap!!!!
Review: HELLLLLOOO people this movie tanked in the theaters for a reason - it is complete GARBAGE!!! We turned it off 1/2 way through, we could not bear to watch anymore. I feel sorry for the shallow tasteless people that find this funny. I wanted to give it zero stars but Amazon made me put a minimum of one star.

Summary: Hilarious Comedy!!
Review: Forget the 'Unrated' tag many comedies put on their DVDs to boost sales, since usually the actual content is very disappointing as it turns out to be only yet another marketing gimmick to lure the good hearts and pockets of many into a fake promise. Boat Trip is the real deal.
When you have three topless gorgeous women on the menu page, you take notice
When you have a DVD extra segment featuring not one, not two or three, but five Playboy playmates dispensing their wise tips on how to get the prefect suntan, you take notice,
And when you have Victoria Silvstedt playing the leader of the Swedish suntanning team, with a special fondness for ice-cream, you definitely take notice..
Think of the good old 'un-PC' age of Porkys, and mix with it a doze of Happy Texas, and you have Boat Trip.
The film boasts good acting (Cuba Gooding Jr as great as ever, and a nice comeback by Roger Moore playing an ageing gay man), and a decent script and direction.
Sure,Boat Trip may not be a classic comedy:
The plot revolves around two friends unsuspectedly sent to a gay cruise by a vindictive travel agent and all the hilarious situations that result from that, and it has many cliches (esp. about gays, swedes), but hey! it works.
The story might be over the top, but it never goes overboard.
Watch the 'unrated' version without hesitation, and I am sure even if you find some flaws, the gorgeous women, the funny dialogue and the likeable actors will make you take notice.

Summary: Do you want to laugh? This is the one!
Review: My wife and I went to see this movie together. Most of the time when you view the little promo clips on TV, most the the best one liners are already well known before you view the actual movie.

Not so in this case. We both laughed long and often throughout this very funny comedy. The theatre was three quarters filled for a matinee. The reaction to the stunts, skits, and one liners was pretty much universal, lots and lots of laughs.

Actually, I thought there were funnier scenes throughout this film than "Mary", and I loved that film.

Based on the positive audience reaction, I thought this was going to be a big hit. Well, it didn't happen. This film was basically done after two weeks. Too bad...Don't miss this it this time on DVD. In spite of the major topic of gay humor, it really sent a very positive message about gay people. It was not gay bashing at all. It turned out to be a nice message that gay people are just people with a different life style, but enjoy most the same pleasures as straights. Cuba Gooding was very good.

Summary: A breath of fresh sea air.
Review: I went to see Boat trip when it came out. I loved the premise of the movie, a stright guy and his friend get booked on a gay cruise. It was a great film. Too bad it tanked after the first few weeks. It's not every day that fun movies "come out" (no pun intended).

I will indeed buy the DVD when it come out. Cuba is Fabulous!

Summary: Laughed an hour after leaving the movie!
Review: One of the funniest movies I have ever seen. We were still laughing an hour after we watched it. It is a movie that I want to buy and that doesn't happen often. We can't wait to buy it!

Summary: Kudo's For Cuba
Review: I didn't think he could pull it off, but he did and had me laughing all the way out of the theatre. This is an excellent movie. I have been checking back every couple of weeks to find out when it was going to be released on DVD. I am happy to see I won't have to wait much longer.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not as bad as people claim it to be.
Review: I can't believe that people [really complain about] this movie and c'mon people, this movie isn't all that bad I mean it's far from Oscar-worthy material but it is a fun way to relax and Roselyn Sanchez is totally hot as Gabriella, former James Bond actor Roger Moore pulls off a good performance as one of the [alternative life style]men.

This movie is about two guys Nick (Heratio Sanz) and Jerry (Cuba Gooding) whose lives have hit rock bottom and Jerry's girlfriend (Vivian Fox) dumps him and the two decided to go on a cruise so they can meet beautiful women but unfortunately, they ended up cussing one of the travel agents so the travel agent ships them on an[alternative life style] CRUISE and from there on the situations that the boys get themselves into is hilarious, then later on Jerry's girlfriend Felicia ends up looking for him and she tells one of the guys to be careful with her luggage cause she claims that they're worth more than what he makes in a year and it goes to show you how obnoxious she is.

I felt that Vivian Fox should've been used more often in this movie cause she is a great actress and her scenes are worthwhile.

I actually give this movie 3.5 stars instead of 3 cause this movie isn't quite in the 4 star league.
