Review: In every horror movie...there is a phone waiting to ring...a victim waiting to scream...a killer waiting to strike...and the only way to survive is taking one thing in mine....stay one step back the killer...even if the killer is a dummer!!! now a [good looking] reporter (tiffani amber-thiessen) with an stupid policeman (tom arnold) are discovering all this murders that are happening in bullimia falls school...!!! and with an excelent cast like julie benz, harley cross, majandra delfino, simon rex, aimee graham, coolio and shirley jones in a comedy so funny that you will laughing!!! an excelent parody of scream, grace, i know what you did last summer, mrs.tingle, american pie, scooby doo, and more!! excelent the best parody ever seen!

Summary: I know this is going to be bad
Review: Man, what a rip off! They basically steal the original working title for "Scary Movie", which was originally going to be "Scream if you know what I did last summer" -- this whole movie is a ripoff -- "Oh, let's re-hash parodies of popular horror flicks, much like that other movie, what's that called again? Scary Movie? Only we're not going to be as funny this time around!"This is just a lame TV version of Scary Movie meant to catch up on all the hype its better created -- a wannabe filled with has-been stars (Coolio? What the heck's up with that? I thought he was dead...)

Summary: Stupid, But Funny!
Review: Most people compare this poorly to "Scary Movie" but they really shouldn't... it's not meant to be. Both movies are meant to be a very different take on horror comedy/parody.
I thought it was a good because it basically takes everything from many parody films and puts it into one movie. There's use of one-liners, off-camera gags, background sight-gags (known famously from the "Naked Gun" films), funny takes on different horror movies (and even general movies), stupid jokes and puns, etc. There was a few good songs in the film, and some stupid acting by the cast was very comfortable as well.
Overall, I think it's not the greatest film out there by no means, but in the end, it was very good for what it's worth.
Off-Topic:
Can anyone tell me what songs are being played in the parts where: 1.) The cast is walking very slowly, but the background people are in normal speed? (Also played at the ending, in the conclusion scene.) 2.) Dawson is in the other classroom watching a film reel and there's that organ music playing. (I can't believe I forget that song!) 3.) Summary: I Thought This Was suppose to be a horror movie spoof!
Review: Now for starters I'm a HUGE fan of Scary Movie I but this film was stupid, I bought this movie for 10.00 bucks and what did I get? A Comedy with no real focuse, yes alot of the jokes were funny but none of the fist hafe of the movie has anything to do with the killer! It's like when the killer attacks the bimbo in the girls Bathroom, instead of killing her in a silly "Scary Movie" fason, the bimbo makes a menstos the freshmaker like escape! Increadable! And the amount of times the killer just comes alone in the back ground and just takes a girl off scree is just dumb. After 45 minuets of this movie I couldn't take it anymore and just turned it off and called Blockbuster to see if I could take it back. They said no. When the phone hung up I started crying wailing and shuting oh my god over and over againbecause I lost ten dollars! The main problem is that this movie could have been a real winner in the "Scary Movie" department just this time spoofing I know Qhat you did Last Summer with the Scream guy. But wherever there is comedy that can be Like Scary Movie the film stumbles. In other words while alot of the jokes are funny, the film is so unfocesed on what it wants to be a spoof of that it forgets that it's suppose to be spoofing horror movies, so you don't really care....

Review: Oh my god!.........This film had me in hysterics all the way through especially the way Doughie keeps missing the murderer claiming his victims..........The simple things like EmptyV are the best bits of this amazing film.... a must see!.....

Summary: I'm never gonna get laid!
Review: one thing I liked about this movie was that it spoofed older movies like Friday the 13 and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, even though it's not a hororr movie. And when Dawson asks who Spacey is because he seems familer, that was nice. But some parts of the films dragged. while I saw Scary Movie more than a couple of times and still laugh out loud. So, nowhere being AS good as Scary Movie, but still worth the laughs.

Summary: DVD Release is Just as Lame as the Movie Itself
Review: Packaging: C The cover won't sell the movie. It's not thatfunny and the back provides a little information about the movie,except they lied when they said "...A comedy so funny, you'll dielaughing!" However, it doesn't tell you the movie's Widescreenaspect ratio and it also doesn't tell you if the movie's transfer isanamorphic. It also doesn't tell you if the movie is Dolby Digital5.1 or not. There also isn't an insert; something would have beenbetter than nothing. There's just a pamphlet about other Trimark DVDreleases. The chapter listings are on the back of the movie itself.Very lame effort. Video: D Amazingly enough, this movie lookedbetter on USA! And that was in full-screen too! The only plus isthis movie is in widescreen despite being a made-for-cable movie.Other than that, the thing looks dated. Pixellated and grainy whenthe lighting is dark (which makes up a lot of the movie), this is noteven VHS quality. When it's not darkly-lit, it looks decent. Audio:A- The audio sounds fine. I didn't notice any kind of break-up orvolume change during the movie. I don't know if it's in Dolby 5.1,but it is in Dolby and for the most part it sounds great! Menu: B Itlooks the same as other Trimark DVD releases. It contains somepictures of the movie on each separate menu screen. The lack oforiginality hurts it. Still, there's no slowdown in between makingselections and little load time, so that's fine. Extras: F You getthe trailer and...that's about it. I was hoping for maybe acommentary by John Blanchard or Tom Arnold or maybe a Featurette onthe movie, but nada. The movie does contain French and Spanishsubtitles, but why they even bothered with those instead of makingreal extras for the DVD release is beyond me. Content: D The movieprovides about 6 laughs for the whole thing, though it's witty enoughthe whole way through. It has enough gags to keep anyone's interestand there are a few babes in the movie, most notably Tiffany-AmberThiessen. The Killer is easily the best character in the movie asmost of the scenes that are actually funny involve him. The actingand directing are surprisingly good, but it's the script that'sclearly lacking here. Kudos to the movie being made BEFORE ScaryMovie was made, not AFTER as it's commonly mistaken. However,all-in-all while both movies are bad, Scary Movie has the upper handsince it's funnier. But, there's nothing quite as gross as ScaryMovie in this one, plus this has Tom Arnold in it as Doughy, thebumbling Police Officer. However, both movies made the mistake oftrying to be a parody OF a parody (Scream) and subsequently they'reboth to dumb to watch. Since there are funnier (and better) moviesout there I suggest looking elsewhere, but despite being lame Shriekwasn't completely a waste of time, so if you got absolutely NOTHING todo you might want to try it out.

Review: PRobably every review youll hear abou tthis will compare this as beeing another Scary Movie! Well if you listen to the commentry this is actually a Parody of a Parody! There Parodying Scary Movie! Why? I dont know? When I saw this the first time I was laughing hard, and IMO this is a much better movie then SCARY MOVIE! Tho the two are great, id say this one is even funnier! See it at least once before you think "not another stupid parody movie about scream ect..."

Summary: No creativity anymore
Review: Scream was good, scream 2 was better, scream 3 was very bad, scary movie was hillarious and a great parody, scary movie 2 was a disaster but it seems movie makers lack any creativity. This is another scream parody, LIKE scary movie, but not an part 2 or 3, yet it tells the same story, and is much the same movie as scary movie but much worse. GO SEE SCARY MOVIE

Summary: AIRPLANE MEETS JASON
Review: Shirley Jones as the school's suppressed nurse; Rose Marie as a sadistic teacher; and Tom Arnold as a bisexual guard. Who could ask for more? This movie is very funny and entertaining. Like AIRPLANE, you have to watch things going on behind the main actors, and listen to the PA announcements. They are hilarious.
It's good natured and not as sexily crude and redundant as the Scary Movie series. It is preposterous and slap stick humor and it's done well.
