Review: At first glance at the cast you would think this would be a very funny movie. It starts out idiotic and gets worse from there. Everyone I have talked to that has viewed this movie feels the same way that I do. I and my wife only had one minor chuckle during the entire flick.

Review: Critics today know nothing about comedy movies. Take the great oones like "Black Sheep" and "Tommy Boy", lets not forget "Almost Heroes". Critics today are just plain dumb. "Gone Fishin' is hilaraious, but people today just don't seem to undertsand that critic opinion is about as valueble as a paper frying pan. I loved this movie. I'm not a critic, I'm a movie goer, like all (or many) Americans. I have good taste (accoridng to the people i know anyway). But this movie is wonderful. A delightful mix of laughs and suprises. Joe and Danny are they best comedy team since Walter Mattahu and Jack Lemon...or maybe Chirs Farley and David Spade. However, I reccomend that you rent it first.

Review: Critics? I guess they didn't like it as much as I. Rented it twice and found it most entertaining the second time around. We have long winters out here, and perhaps we are not as sharp as people on the coasts of the US, but I liked the show.

Summary: Complete Waste of Time
Review: Gone Fishin' is among the worst Hollywood movies ever made. There is simply nothing to recommend within this completely random and unamusing mess. Danny Glover and Joe Pesci (buddies from the Lethal Weapon sequals) unite again here, looking tired and bewildered. The film was unlikely to have a script, giving the two stars the freedom to improvise, however both spend the time jerking around in some boat in Florida. Not even strong Pesci or Glover devotees could sit through this. Unfunny, uninspired, cliched and utterly dismal.
