Summary: Better than I thought it would be
Review: First of all, I never wanted to see this movie. I thought that it was going to be like "Bring It On" (I HATED that movie). The only reason I watched was because my friend rented it when I slept over. But I liked it. It took me awhile to get used to it, which I guess was because I wanted to hate it so much. One thing in this movie that I really didn't like was how the one cheerleader got pregnant (not the most romantic thing), but she was lucky enough to have a guy that stood by her the entire time (even if his IQ was a couple of points above butter).

Summary: Remember Sunshine,These are the best days of your life...
Review: Sugar and Spice was an amazing movie. My favorite of all time. It changed my life. When Diane Weston (Marley Shelton) the pregnant cheerleader looks in the mirror, despite all that is going on with her, and says "Remember sunshine, these are the best days of your life...so far," it is seriously the best. I recommend it to everyone. The girls are so loyal and the acting is great. Awesome casting. So much better than Bring it On!

Summary: More Fun Than It Should Be
Review: This film was actually a lot better than I thought it would be. That does not mean that this film belongs on the AFI's Top 100, but it does mean that it is pretty good fluffy, rainy day entertaiment. The women look good, and they are so cheery and ready to please that it becomes infectious. Plus there is some genuinely sharp dialouge here. Overall, I'm more than happy to give this piece of throwaway entertainment 3 stars.

Summary: NOT VERY FUNNY, but with the beautiful Mena Suvari
Review: This is just another teen movie, but specially for women.
Is not very funny either, but it's OK.

I hope you like it and rated better than me.
And please excuse me for my terrible enlgish.
Bye!!

Summary: uh...
Review: the movie has potential, but doesn't quite follow through. it was too "sugary" and not nearly "spicy" enough.

Summary: "You Know What I Don't See Here...I Don't See A Problem"
Review: This movie was very good from start to finish and it seems to be mssing something...other than that nagging feeling at the end of the movie when your thinking "Hmmm THAT was the end!!" it's a very well played out movie.

The story begins with Lisa(Marla Sokoloff)a jealous B-Squad cheerleader who narrarates the whole movie. Lisa just cracks me up with her evil little jokes about the A-Squad she definatly steals the movie! As Lisa is narrarating the five A-Squad cheerleaders seem to have supporting roles until BAM! Diane(Marley Shelton) gets pregnet, now all of the other squad members get involved.

Now, I personally enjoyed the prefrmance given by Mellisa George who playes Cleo (she's OBSESSED w/Conan O' Brian) she is SO funny. My friends say the liked Mena Suvari's performace as Kansas the foul mouthed tough girl. Me personally, I think with Mena Suvari who is such a great actress they could've given her more than just a supporting character. But she is still great!

As the movie goes on the girls "reserch", practice, and finally perform the hilarous bank robbery. The robbery is definetly the best part of the movie! It will have you in stitches!

This movie was great other than the sometimes gross out corny moments that pop up now and then (like the principal's speech at the pep rally) its very funny and well acted! Highly recomended!

Summary: Very good
Review: I thought this movie was very funny! Towards the end when they rob the bank just had me cracking up and it puts a smile on my face just thinking about it. The first half is a bit slow but it really picks up! Great movie!

Summary: It was entertaining...
Review: Some of the story lines are far fetched but it is entertaining if you are in the mood for comedy type entertainment and not serious drama. It is a typical high school movie with the charachters being the popular cheerleaders who date the popular boys, etc. It has humorous parts and in the end you are hoping that they do not get caught/charged with robbing the bank. The girl that was in American Beauty is in this, her charachters name is Kansas. It is a different role than I have seen her play in American Pie or American Beauty but she still does a fine job. Get it for entertainment value...don't expect it to be up for an academy award though.

Summary: You have got to be kidding
Review: First off, the story took forever to get started. These girls decide to rob a bank within a grocery store to finance the future of the pregnent one. The characters were two dimensional at best including the villian and the boyfriend. I didn't laugh once the whole time. THe characters were intended to be very different from each other, but in the end, just acted like a bunch of airheads.
I am sure the story looked good on paper, but once it hit the screen, it was too long and drawn out for a comedy. If you want to laugh, rent Cannonball Run or Airplane. If you want a seditive, Sugar & Spice is for you.

Summary: Low Grade Teen Flick
Review: A pretty low point in the teen movie genre is this ridiculous film about four high school cheerleaders who decide to rob a supermarket bank when one of the girls (Marley Shelton) gets pregnant and married and can't afford to live on husband James Marsden's video store salary. Their plans to pull off a successful robbery and getaway seem pretty smooth until cheerleader-wannabe Marla Sokoloff shows up and threatens to throw a wrench in the whole thing. Most of it is uninspired, and the messages about giving teens more opportunities to better run their lives is wasted in this films' irresponsible attitude. Oddly enough, Mena Suvari is for once left in the background, a real shame considering she's much more interesting in this film than I'm used to her being.
