Rating: Summary: Good, clean entertainment for the family Review: Without wasting more of your time on plot, I found this movie quite entertaining.I didn't have high hopes for this film, but I was pleasantly suprised. It managed to pull a few laughs out of me, and I noticed others in the group laughed at other places. The cast is confident and develops audience empathy towards them. Where Allen's character could have lost the audience when he became popular, instead it strengthens the relationship. The relationship between Allen and Bowen is handled with more tact than most romantic comedies, giving this simple story a friendly realism. Panettiere, playing Allen's daughter also has more depth than the usual token daughter character in most disney movies, and this is well appreciated. What this movie represents is a reasonably funny, healthy (very suitable for children), light-hearted film with just enough realism to keep the audience engaged, and the story true.
