Rating: 5 stars
Summary: would you believe?
Review: this is a great movie! I hope all the Get Smart episodes get release on DVD!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: very good reunion film!
Review: This is absolutely the best "reunion" movie for a TV comedy I have ever seen. It features most of the original cast, and was written by the original writers. It really works as a sequel (something the 1980 film The Nude Bomb failed at) and is genuinely funny. Anyone who is considering making one of these reunions should wtch this one as a blue print of how to do it right. Later followed by 7 all new Get Smart episodes (aired on FOX in 1995)which were just OK. I would like to see these on video also. See also "the Nude Bomb"

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: "Missed it by that much!"
Review: This should be the standard for which all made for TV reunion movies should follow! "Get Smart, Again" aired on ABC in the early 90's to very high ratings with good reason, It's good! Would you believe, Great! Yes, Great!
CONTROL is back in business to fight the evil forces of KAOS!
The old gang is back Agent 86 (Don Adams), Agent 99 (Barbara Feldon), Hymie (Dick Gautier) to stop the sinister Sigfried (Bernie Kopell) Besides most of the original cast returning many of the series original creative team has returned. Leonard B. Stern, Mark Curtiss & Rod Ash wrote the script and Gary Nelson directed. The movie preserves all of the flavor of the comedy of the Get Smart series yet makes it contempoary enough for today's audiences something the makers of the dreadful 1980 feature film "The Nude Bomb" also starring Don Adams did not do!
The reason my rating is not 5 stars is because of the DVD itself!
The picture quality is very poor. The color is washed out, there is no sharpness or brightness every scene looks as if it were filmed through gauze! The DVD package says "Digitally Mastered" but mastered from what, a VHS tape? Don't let the poor quality of the DVD discourage you. The excellent quality of the movie, the script and all the performances are worth the price! A must have for all "Get Smart" fans! Until we get the complete orginal series on DVD or even a better print of "Get Smart, Again" this will have to do!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: No [ Defecate]! Bring all Get Smart Episodes on DVD (or VHS)!!!
Review: This was an excellent (understatement) DVD, but now, the idiots out there in tv land (not the channel) who make all these DVDs need to make DVD sets of shows that are actually worth watching! They make sets of stupid shows like friends (thank GOD that series is over, but thanks to syndicated tv, we'll probably have to put up with it for another 10 years, I hope N @ N and Tv land doesn't air it!),seinfeld, lost on mars? (What the Hell is Lost on Mars?) and other boring shows. I'll bet pretty soon they'll make DVDs of survivor, american IDIOT, real world, dawson's creek, buffy, and so much other stupid A$$ shows. They need to get back to the old classic television when TV was entertaining, (Thank GOD we have the tv land channel & nick at nite) Tv land Really Needs to bring back Get Smart, that way if these idiotic DVD set makers don't make Get Smart on DVD, at least we'll have a chance to record the shows off tv. I'm sick and tired, I'm sure as much as many are out there of stupid A$$ reality shows of people eating bugs and rodents and rotten cheese etc.(I'm glad those stupid MFers get sick!) I'm sure as H*ll sick of shows like the bachelor and bachelorette, I mean who gives a Rat's F'n A$$ who picks who, or who falls in love with who??? Now... I know this is a free country, and we can choose what we watch and don't watch, but reality tv is everywhere that even goodmorning america and ET report on this Crap! Get Smart, as well as many other forgotten, neglected classic shows are more than worthy of being made for DVD, not just the first seasons, but the entire collections of these shows, If people knew how great these shows were or pulled their heads out of their A$$'s reality tv would'nt be dominating the air waves, mtv isn't even mtv anymore it's rtv (reality tv) I used to enjoy mtv but not anymore. But alot of people including the younger crowd like it, I'm 23 years old but I can still appreciate classic worthy television, and I have since I was probably 10. --Shows more wothy of DVD making than ones made already-- Get Smart,Bewitched,I Dream of Jeanie and a whole hell of a lot more. But that's just my opinion, but if you know these shows, it's Fact Period. Oh, and for all you MFers not agreeing with this review,(you have a right to your opinion) but you're all still (...) who have no lives and watch this reality crap, to the people who agree,... You have Great taste.
