Summary: If you liked the first one, you'll probably like this one
Review: Since I appear to be the first person to review this on Amazon who actually *saw* this movie, believe me when I say if you liked Legally Blonde, you'll probably like Legally Blonde 2 as well. The audience I saw it with loved it; giggles, guffaws and more than a few really big laughs erupted regularly.

Of course, the audience was mostly female. Which brings me to this: why have all the professional male movie critics from the "big" newspapers dissed this movie?

You know, I try to be fair when the latest James Bond film opens. I know it's going to be over the top; lots of explosions and sex and a thin plot. It's meant to be brain candy, right?

So be fair back, boys; when a female film equivalent to a silly action flick shows up on the big screen, it's not trying to be "The Hours", so try to expand your mind and take into consideration who exactly the film was made for and WHY.

It was fun. It was cute. And my husband and I both thought it was a helluva good way to spend a couple of hours and walk out smiling afterwards.

Summary: Entertaining but lacking the storyline of the first movie
Review: Reese Witherspoon is great in this film. She is surely the bright spot because without her in the role of Elle Woods, this movie would be average. There is definitely more wit in the movie compared with the first although overall the storyline is not as strong as the original.

Take this for what it is - a comedy with a light heart and somewhat unrealistic story. It is enjoyable none the less.

Summary: Reese does it again with an incredible job in LB2
Review: Reese does it again with an incredible job in Legally Blonde 2. Hey people dont read critics reviews they hate themselves, they rated this movie a 2 and a half stars.... If you see this movie you'll think they were drunk or something this movie clearly deserves a five! I thought that Legally Blonde 2 was much, much better than the first Legally Blonde, because in this movie you can actually understand what Elle is going through. I think her dog is SO cute and there will be a surprising twist about the dog later on in this movie... I wont tell you what the twist you gotta watch it to find out this twist... Reese is just an actor at its best, she has made Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama two incredible movies that are worth the money! Go see it whenever you want just promise me you'll go see the movie....

P.S.: Hey boys out there this is not a girl movie it is a unisex movie as a matter of fact I am a boy and I just loved the movie!

Summary: mmm..........it was alright
Review: Legally Blonde 2 was not as cute and pep as the first one. It was... to put it bluntly a bit bland. The characters replay everything from the first, and Elle's optimism factor isn't as cute. The plot for the first movie was a bit realistic, whereas the plot for this movie was completely off base. So Witherspoon and her co-stars may have gotten a few smiles and even laughs, but if you're looking for an extremely well-made movie, go see something else. Basically this is the kind of movie you go see with a group of friends, so it won't be completely stupid. I reeeaaally hope they won't continue with this movie so far as to make Elle run for president. In conclusion, if anyone asked me what I thought of the movie, I would say, Cute, corny, and pretty dumb....don't expect a highly moving, or funny flick.

Summary: "IT'S PINK AND SCENTED!!"
Review: If you saw the original Legally Blonde, you know these movies are for entertainment value only. Legally Blonde 2-Red, White and Blonde is more of the same. Only in Elle Wood's world could someone like her go to Washington D.C. and pull the heartstring of Congress. Managing to get a bill against all cosmetic testing on animals passed. If only, if only!! This movie is cute, predictable and not as clever as the first one. But still "super fun"! The best scenes are the ones with Bruiser-Elle's dog. He is funnier then most of the actors and by far the best dressed! If you are into clothes and cute dogs, this is a must see!

Summary: Should Have Been Titled Really Dumb and Dumberer
Review: Ok, I will admit it, I truly enjoyed Legally Blonde, and was looking forward to the sequel, but having just left the theater, I feel dissapointed. The mindless world of El Woods was original and funny in the first movie, but this movie tries to be funny by repeating the same old jokes. There in lies the problem, this movie does not provide the laughs of the first film. And the part about gay dogs was a little over the top. This movie will be a set back for Reece Witherspoon, and her 15 million dollar per movie days are probably a thing of the past. Some movies just don't make good sequels, and unfortunately this is the perfect example.

Summary: Reese Witherspoon enchants again in sequel
Review: Reese Witherspoon was worth every penny she was paid in Legally Blonde 2: Red White And Blonde. She greatly enhances mediocre writing to embody Elle Woods.
I thought that Jennifer Coolidge was great in reprising her role but I felt that we cared far less about the new secondary characters because they were not fleshed out. I preferred the first installment but the sequel is definitely worth seeing.
Go out and see Legally Blonde 2 and have a few laughs. Reese Witherspoon is one of the best comedic actresses we have!

Summary: A Shallow and Pointless Sequal
Review: Having recently seen "Legally Blonde" I was thrilled to hear that the sequel, "Legally Blonde 2" was coming out. Yet upon seeing what I had hoped to be a funny, witty and charming film I found only a rediculous, humorless, and ultimately shallow film. The acting ranged from average to bad, but honestly I did not expect much in this department. The jokes, which using politics as a platform, should have been histarical but they were only a rehashing of the first film. What litte new material was used in this film was pratically pointless and gained more sighs and groans then anything else. "Legally Blonde 2" is in short, since to even mention the inane plot would be a waste of everyone's time, a lackluster summer sequel. If you have not seen the first film watch it, it is a very charming movie. Those whom have seen the original, as well as those whom have not, are just a well to save your money and avoid this trash. Rated PG-13 for adult lanugage and sexual humor.

Summary: Dumb Blondes no more!
Review: The meaning of a dumb blonde has raised a few inches with the opening of this movie. Reese does a good betrael of a girly, girl to a senator. Now I'm sure there ain't many people that just waltz into Washington and get a jot at the Capital just like that! But hey it's a movie with Reese Witherspoooon.

Summary: Great movie!
Review: All right, I saw a sneak preview of the movie last week. It was awesome! I was lucky enough to snag some tickets to see the movie. Being such a fan of the first movie, I was ecstatic!

I don't want to give away too much so there won't be any spoilers here. We now see Elle several years later, engaged to Emmitt (played again by Luke Wilson, you can tell this is a good sequel since they got every single actor back to play their character again, the flops are the ones where they have to end up replacing actors.) who is now teaching at Harvard (a slight glitch in the storyline, because at the end of the first I thought they said he was opening his own law firm?) and the couple are planning their wedding.

Elle has planned the guest list, inviting his friends and her friends and their family, and then it hits her: the one person who has always been there to support her has no guests: her lovely Chihuahua Bruiser! So she hires a detective to track down his relatives. It turns out his mom "works" for a makeup testing facility. When she tries to buy her back and can't, she ends up trying to fight the law and have animal testing banned.

She ends up going to Capitol Hill (it's her first day when we see her infamous Jackie outfit) to lobby for her bill to be passed. Along the way, she is met with a lot of animosity from people who are supposed to be helping her pass her bill since she has no experience, and she realizes bills aren't written and passed in a day.
