Review: Leslie Nielsen is back in action in this near-great movie. It's his only movie i've seen other than Dracula Dead And Loving It where Nielsen is not a lawman. In the Naked Gun Series, he's Frank Drebin, a Los Angeles cop. In Spy Hard, he's Richard Steele, a retired government agent. In 2001 A Space Travesty, he's Richard Dix, a United States Marshal. In this movie, however, he's Ryan Harrison, a renowned violinist and womanizer. The movie begins with one of his concert performances, which is sponsored by Hibbing Goodhue, a millioniare tycoon. His wife, Lauren, and her "sister", Cass Lake, both fall for him on the spot. When Hibbing goes away on a trip, Lauren takes the opportutinty to have sex with Harrison, but he refuses her advances. Anger with him as well as her desire to conceal her involvement in a terrorist plot to asassainate the United Nations Secretary General, as well as her husband's knowledge of it, induces her to kill him. After she does it, to avoid being accused herself, she lures Harrison to the house after one of his concerts. When he arrives, her terrorist partners knock him out to make sure he's there when the cops arrive. When he wakes up with two guns at his side, he's arrested by United States Marshals. At trial, he's convicted of murder and sentenced to literal execution(electrocution, lethal injection, and killing by a firing squad all in one). On the way to Death Row, however, his prison bus collides with a train and crashes, which leads to his escape and hillarious qwest to find the real killer. Well, I think I gave out too much, so just give it a look. It's more than worth it.

Summary: Great movie
Review: I love Leslie Nielsen. There probably hasn't been a movie he's been in that I haven't liked. I'd have to say that I think this is one of his best movies. I was nearly peeing my pants through the whole thing. But one of the things I thought was cool, was that it takes place in Minnesota, which is where I live, but what really got me is when I heard the Lt.'s name (Fergus Falls), because that's the name of the town I live in! Anyway, it's overall a great movie, definitely recommended, but I'll have to take 1 star off since the DVD is full screen.

Review: (...) there are so many subtle jokes in this movie and most are sound effects or announcments (like in the hospital), or you have to pay very close attention to the dialog. Leslie does some great physical comedy in this movie (a major scene in the hospital)and some of the jokes and parodies you just can't get without seeing the original movies. Turn up the volume on this movie really loud so you don't miss anything. This movie definetly appeals to certain fans and if your not a fan of hot shots or hot shots part deux, or Mafia or Jim Abrahams or the Airplane movies or even BASEketball, you should probably rent this first or avoid it. If those kinds of movies are your cup of tea and some of your favorites, then don't miss this movie. i'd also see the Fugitive first too. with all the humor in this movie and so many chances for a laugh (watch the podium at the Lord of the violin concert)or the air vent when Nielsen is in scottish garb) i can't believe a person would get ONLY ONE laugh out of this. (...) I admit the naked gun flicks are classic but this is more along the lines of Hot Shots than the naked gun movies.

Summary: I only got one laugh out of this movie
Review: I only got one laugh out of this movie, and that was where Leslie Neilson "feeds" the dog. Other than that, this movie can not compare to any of the Naked Gun flicks. The special features were not that great either. They had a section on the special effects, as if people cared. This is not ILM on Star Wars Episode I. I would pass on this one.

Review: For all you people out there who love dumb movies that would go through anything to get you a quick laugh, you'll love this one! Leslie Nielsen is Leslie Nielsen in Wrongfully Accused, the story of how HIbbing Goodhue is murdered by a one armed, one legged, one eyed man. This movie is great. The actors are great. And the jokes are great.

Summary: The next best thing to Hot Shots
Review: Pat Proft is absolutely a hilarious writer and after watching this i could tell that most of my favorite scenes in Hot Shots were written by him. This movie is hilarious and one of those movies you can watch over and over and still find things you missed before. I hope Pat Proft makes more movies like this. If you like Hot Shots, or the Naked Gun movies definetly BUY this movie. I've watched this again and again and i still crack up every single time. Turn up the volume so you don't miss anything some of the jokes are very subtle, while others are right in your face. Absolutely Hilarious.

Summary: This movie is accused of being incrediably funny
Review: Wrongfully accused is a wonderfull movie. Leslie Neilson returns yet again to do another parody movie that delivers lots of laughs and gags. The plot of this movie is simple. Leslie is a famous violin player who visits a women and finds a guy looking to murder somebody. After yelling "Your a imposter!" Leslie starts to fight him in the dark during a thunder storm. During the fight the burglurs arm,leg,and eye fall out before he knocks leslie out. Leslie wakes up and escapes from being killed by the state and tries to clear his innocence. From there on the movie mostly relies on gags and jokes at popular movies. Everything from "The empire strikes back" to "Lord of the dance" is made fun of here. Heck, theres even a baywatch joke! But all of those, while still incrediably funny, are pale in comparison to the absolute funniest joke of all, the "North by Northwest" joke. I'm not going to spoil it, but let me say that you should go to the bathroom before watching this joke. I could write over 10 pages of all of the jokes alone, but you have to see it yourself to get it. Dont miss this one.The Good: Incredibly funny, very entertaining The bad: not much of a plot And the Ugly: none.

Summary: Guaranteed busted gut for fans of Airplane, Naked Guns, etc.
Review: I'm a real fan of the Naked Gun series, Airplane, and other ridiculous, silly and slap stick movies. Wrongfully Accused is on the top of this heap. Like most of these movies, you miss half of the gags the first time through and still see new ones on the fifth showing. So it is well worth owning to watching over and over. Neilson is the master of deadpan absurdity. I hurt just thinking about it.

Summary: WAY BETTER THAT SPY HARD
Review: This movie was very well done. Having tons of laughter included. This movie combines quite a few movies and tv shows to give it the right ingredients. Its just plain Hilarious. Forget Spy Hard and buy Wrongfully Accused.
