Summary: FANTASTIC !!!
Review: If you are going to see one romantic movie in your life, let it be this one. Not only is the plot enthralling, but the character development is phenominal and the casting superb. Jude Law is enticing and Jennifer Tilly's supporting performance is great. A must see movie that will restore anyone's faith in love at first sight.

Summary: The romance you've been waiting for...
Review: A fantastic film. Engaging characters and a well written script. it made me laugh and smile...This is what romantic movies are supposed to be. Highly reccommended to complete a good day, or to turn about a bad one. and Jude Law is, as always, amazing.

Summary: hilarious
Review: This movie was so off-the-wall I laughed the entire time. All of the small characters make an otherwise typical plot extraordinary, from Anna's family to the blind sister's boyfriend. One of the best video store gambles I ever took!

Summary: This is the most moving film I've seen in a year!!
Review: DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR & RENT/BUY THIS MOVIE A.S.A.P.!! I can't say enough good things about it. OK. Now I've been known to get sappy & sentimental about romantic movies, but my love for this film really has nothing to do with that. This is truly the most moving film I've seen in at least a year. The acting was impeccable, and the script was marvelous--despite the standard conventions of the romantic comedy genre, I truly did not know what was going to happen. It strikes me as a true "actor's movie"--there was not one bad role in it. I've told all of my friends about it & will be sitting on them to watch it--I watched it 4 days in a row when I rented it last, & will buy it just as soon as it goes down in price. Oh, & by the way, Jude Law is every bit as good as his friend Ewan MacGregor--now I have another person to add to my list of "see ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING they ever do!!" This movie renewed my faith in the possibility of finding true love even when you are most discouraged from your past experiences. I want to live in that world--where do I sign up to meet someone like Danny? Thank you to everyone involved in creating this.

Review: Music from anthor room is a classic. Danny at age 5 helps his doctor dad deliver a baby. Shoot forward 25 years, Danny has just had his heart broken and meets Anna, Who as coincidence may seem, is the girl he brought into the world. Cupids arrows start flying and their are sevral stray bullets as well.

Review: This is a great movie especially because Savage Garden's "Truly Madly Deeply" song is played three times throughout the movie!!! This is the sweetest movie I've ever seen!

Summary: A delightful film about taking risks and *living* life
Review: Music From Another Room is probably the best romantic comedy I've ever seen. It's more than a boy-meets-girl story. It's really about finding the courage to take risks and live life rather than survive it. To grab hold of something you really want. All that just happens to be wrapped up in a pretty nifty boy-meets-girl story I found wonderfully romantic and adorable. The beginning's a little implausible, but the rest soon falls into place, and I really didn't find it all that predictable. Obviously the leads are going to fall in love together, but the journey is a fun one, and I held my breath in a place or two. And cried once or twice, but don't tell anybody. ;) The acting was wonderful, with the one exception of Gretchen Mol, who reminded me of a girl in a high school production. I even liked Jennifer Tilly, and she usually annoys me massively. Jude Law is absolutely fantastic, and Brenda Blethyn did a lot with her part. Music From Another Room is my new favorite movie; I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Summary: This was an amazing movie!!!
Review: Music From Another Room was one of the best movies I've ever seen. There was not one part I didn't like. It was cute, quirky, sad, thought-provoking, and absolutely hilarious all in one great combo. I recommend it to everyone, and I own it. I can't express how much I love this movie! The soundtrack is also *great*, and the music was used perfectly in the movie. SEE IT!

Summary: An ensemble cast adds charm to otherwise tepid movie!
Review: "Music from Another Room" is an ideal date movie. It's commercial cute, in the same vein as those Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movies, but off-beat enough to seem deceptively indie. However, like most date movies, "Movie from Another Room"'s plot is about as predictable as rain in Seattle. The premise of the tale (little boy falls in love with and promises to marry the girl that he helps his father to deliver, only to chance upon her 25 years later when she's involved with another man) is interesting enough, but the expectation of something different falls by the wayside during the course of the movie, as it gets more and more formulaic. The saving grace of "Music from Another Room" is the talent of the film's ecletic and quirky actors. The very charming British actor Jude Law, who plays the lovesick Danny Kowalski, proves quite adept at American comedy and doesn't seem to mind doing borderline slapstick. Gretchen Mol, as Anna Swann, is the perfect object of affection with her '50s-inspired wardrobe and prudish attitude. The rest of the cast includes Jennifer Tilly as Anna's blind and socially inept younger sister; Martha Plimpton as Anna's cynical and world-weary older sister; Brenda Bleythn as the infirmed and sympathetic mother; and Jon Tenney as Anna's stoic and "perfect" fiancee. Overall, "Music from Another Room" is a very likeable film as long as you don't expect too much from it.
