Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Home Alone 3
Review: I did not agree with the theme of this movie. I believe there is entirely too much said about the topic of criminals and children. Children under the age of ten may find it entertaining, however.

Summary: Give Alex A break. He tried his best.
Review: O.K. I'll admit that Home Alone 3 wasnt as good as the first two. But DAMN PEOPLE. Alex tried his best. Give him that at least. The movie was kind of funny. I read some other reviews about how Mac. was better than Alex. Of Course. Nobody's better than the original. But give Alex his props for trying his hardest. Alex for sure has mine for stepping up. Not many would've done that I'm sure.

Summary: An absolutely terrible threequel.
Review: I don't really care that this movie was made. However, when I saw it this was not the case. I was the biggest fan of the first two Home Alones, and that caused me to dispise the 3rd one for ever being made.

It had nothing that made the other two movies attractive to me. The John Williams music, The acting, the house that is located near Chicago and had a certain symbolism--all of these were missing from the 3rd one. It was a totally different movie that seemed to keep the plot but changed the whole mood.

Absolutely terrible, and I stand by this assessment. Especially if you are a Home Alone fan.

Summary: Different but Great
Review: When I bought this I wasn't expecting much because I knew the characters were different and I'm a big Home Alone I & II fan. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. In fact when it ended, my 3 kids and I rewound it and watched it again. I like the characters and the way it portrays a real family. Once again I like the music and the upbeat, funny writings of John Hughes. I highly recommend this movie.

Summary: 2-1/2 stars -- Whose idea was this?
Review: By the time this movie was released, the Home Alone craze was over. And the movies weren't necessarily played out because Macaulay Culkin had gotten older; they were played out anyway. I guess this movie was a vehicle to lift Alex D. Linz to superstar status, which, consequently, didn't happen (have you heard from him since then?). Parts of the movie were interesting, but not many. And you know a movie is weak when it's a so-called "sequel" yet none of the original characters are in it (see also House Party 4 - wait, don't).

Summary: A Good Movie But It Doesn't Follow The Collection
Review: Best of Home Alone is this. But it doesn't equal is other series for instence the boy's name changed from Kevin to Alex.Huh? I like the movie but I don't understand? Why did they change everything?

Summary: GIVE HOME ALONE 3 A BREAK
Review: In preveious reveiws people say "why is it a home alone movie?" with a new kid? Well The first kid (cant spell the name) in the 1st and 2nd movie is too old like 18 or 19 he can't do it. Also if it was the same it would get boring. The reason for the 4 star rating not 5 is because something doesnt make sense. Airport secuirty cant just see though plastic bags. It could see in side the toy car furthermore exposing them. Other wise it was a laugh out loud funny film.

Summary: huh?
Review: i don't understand why this is considered a home alone movie. it's a different kid, there are different bad guys, the family's different, and the storyline is totally different!!! they should have called the movie something else. the world would have been fine with 2. if it wasn't a home alone movie it probably have done a whole lot better. i don't find it interesting at all. i loved the first two, though!!!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not as hot as the first two.
Review: The point of the burglars is not the same as the point of the burglars in the first two movies. Alex doesn't nearly know how to act this part out next to Macauley Culkin. And the burglars are doubled, including a woman, and they're all after a computer chip in an RC car. The subject ain't that great, neither is the comedy. If they take out a fourth, which I highly doubt, they should go back to Culkin or someone who can really handle the job!

Summary: Lot of action & investigation inside a funny movie
Review: Though not as funny as the other two movies, since I found myself laughing only when the stunts began (I was laughing through the whole other two movies). It has good action & investigation, great for children, and also fun to watch for adults.

The plot is very interesting, it will keep you on your toes. Since the villains are professionals now (and more realistic), they act serious, therefore the stunts are not as funny. In the first two, the villains were so stupid you could laugh at the sight of them (they ocasionally cursed at Kevin which sounded so funny).

The Christmas message is totally gone here however (even though it IS during the Christmas season), they could've made this movie at any other time in winter and you wouldn't have noticed the difference. No Christmas music, no reunions, no Church or Christmas tree, etc. (some decorations though).

If you're looking for a nice child action movie (and you don't pursue the Christmas scenario) this is the movie for you & your family. However if you want a Christmas family movie that will keep you laughing for weeks you'll be better off getting any of the other two. Or get them all, all of them are good! I've got the trio so I should know.

The use of pets as part of the stunts was a great idea, it adds fun to the whole scene. The parrot is my favorite.
