Rating: Summary: The Good Burger DVD is a must have! Review: It was one of the best films of 1997. It was one of the most influential comedies of its kind. Good Burger boasts one of the most daring casts in cinema history. Carmen Electra brilliantly portrays Ed's (Kel Mitchell) date for an evening of good eating and putt-putt. Yet on the same screen we are dazzled with such screen delights as Sinbad, Abe Vigoda, George Clinton, Robert Wuhl, and Shaquille O'Neal, of Kazaam fame. And on May 27, 2003, everyone will get to experience the glorious anamorphic widescreen transfer of Good Burger, presented in its 1.85:1 original aspect ratio. While a special collector's edition would have been nice from Paramount/Nickelodeon. You can't have too much to be upset with now that you can finally burn you VHS copy and treasure, in what will definitely be one of best selling dvds of all time.
Rating: Summary: My 5 year old son loves it! Review: My 5 year old son saw a trailer for Good Burger on an old Nickelodeon video. Since we bought the tape, he has watched it at least 10 times, is learning the dialogue, and has started eating hamburgers for the first time!
Rating: Summary: 5 and a half stars! Review: My mom and I were rolling the first time we watched this movie! And the 2nd and the 3rd... I've watched at least 19 times and I still love it! GET THIS!

Rating: Summary: A rare cenematic gem Review: The debate which once raged about the relative merits of Citizen Kane vs. Casablanca can now fall silent: As the end of the twentieth century nears, Good Burger has achieved cinematic perfection. The story of Ed (Kel Mitchell) and Dexter (Kenan Thompson) and how they rescue the Good Burger restaurant from destruction at the hands of the domineering Mondo Burger is more than just the story of warriors battling the onslaught of corporate tyranny; it is a metaphor for the transcendence of the human spirit. Like our Homeric heroes Ed and Dexter, each of us must struggle to find a place in the universe -- only then can we truly be free. Not since Henry Fonda won for "On Golden Pond," has an actor nearing death deserved a nomination more than Abe Vigoda. His portrait of proud Otis, the aging fast food employee, is both complex and compelling -- and a powerful comment on the plight of geriatrics everywhere. Director Brian Robbins's masterful skills in telling this epic of survival and hope reduced the audience to stunned silence; many, including this reviewer, wept openly.

Rating: Summary: NOT THAT GOOD THE FIRST TIME,BUT KICKED A$$ THE SECOND TIME Review: THE FIRST TIME I VIEWED THIS FILM,I STARTED OUT LIKING IT,BUT THEN IT GOT STUPID. A FEW MONTHS LATER,I WATCHED IT AGAIN AND LOVED IT (OK,SO IT'S A BIT CORNY. FORGET IT.)!! THIS FILM IS SO UNDENIABLY FUN. FUNNY TOO! THE ACTING IS ALSO GOOD. THIS IS A GOOD FAMILY FILM. IT'S ALSO A NICE FILM TO WATCH WITH SOMEONE WHO'S YOUNGER THAN YOU. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND WORTH VIEWING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. "WELCOME TO GOOD BURGER,CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER?"
Rating: Summary: A Very Important Movie Review: The sleeper hit of the year!! I wasn't planning on watching this one, but since I worked in a video store when it came out, I involuntarily saw it. I was amazed that a kid's channel could come up with an entertaining, yet very informative treatise on the evils of the corporate structure. And how anyone can beat "The MAN", even a couple of regular(?) guys like Ed and Dexter. Working in a independent video store at the time, I too faced a similar struggle vs "The MAN", in this case Blockbu---r Video, who had recently moved in next store. Unlike Ed and Dexter at the Goodburger however, my store lost..... But nonetheless, I was still able to appreciate the delightful story and funny antics of two average guys vs the Corporate Overlords across the street.
Rating: Summary: I'd like to order this movie to go! Review: The title doesn't do justice worsham to this film. Even though I'm not the target demographic for this terrific kids' movie, I couldn't keep from getting in on the excitement. It felt like I whooped and hollered at the screen every five minutes! Props to Brian Robbins for directing such a joy. It's obvious the skill and enthusiasm displayed in this film carry over into his producing duties on the hit WB show "Smallville." The best part: Robbins' choice to enlist Stewart Copeland to contribute music. Copeland wrote many of the best songs performed by the Police, and his contribution to this film (and the wicked "Gridlock'd") is immeasurable. My only complaint is that they should have called this movie "Awesome Burger!"
Rating: Summary: Kenan & Kel star in this movie. Review: There is a shot when Dexter Reed (Kenan Thompson) and Ed (Kel Mitchell) delivers a good burger to Shaq. They work in a fast food restuarant called Good Burger. And a new fast food place named Mondo Burger opens next door. And the manger named Kurt Bozwell (Jan Schwieterman) wants Good Burger out of business. Dexter works at Good Burger because he was driving without a license and crashed into a car driven by his teacher named Mr. Wheat (Sinbad). It is summer vaction for Dexter Reed. He had landed a job at Mondo Burger but got fired by Kurt when he jokes around too much. Dexter goes to Good Burger and drinks and re-orders more good shakes. Dexter owes $1,900. Gets a job at Good Burger and takes lot of Ed's pay. One day a young woman goes to Good Burger and askes Ed out on a date. And Dexter goes out to with his own girl. Ed has his own sauce but nobody doesn't know about it. Once good burger's manger (Dan Schneider) takes a taste of the sauce when Dexter get all the workers to taste it while having lunch with Ed. Great film.
