Summary: ZANG!(Cantonese translation of "excellent")
Review: This film is undoubtedly excellent. Mike Myers and Dana Carvey regularly portrayed Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar on NBC's Saturday Night Live starting in 1989. Wayne and Garth and the hosts of a show called "Wayne's World". Their fortes are heavy metal music, hockey and beautiful babes. Benjamin Kane(Rob Lowe) and his girlfriend are lying in bed, flipping channels on television and caught "Wayne's World". Kane then calls his partner Russell Fenley(Kurt Fuller) telling him he found something that they can "sell to" their boss Noah Vanderhoff(Brian Doyle Murray). Kane and Fenley run a studio where they plan to put Wayne's and Garth's show into. Wayne's and Garth's regular hangout is Stan Mikita's Donuts where Ed O'Neill of TV's Married With Children plays the manager,Glen. Wayne's ex-girlfriend pops into Mikita's with a gift for Wayne that he cannot use. It's a gun rack and he owns no guns. One night Wayne and Garth go to a nightclub called the Gasworks. There Wayne meets the girl of his dreams Cassandra Wong who is the bassist and lead singer for a band Crucial Taunt. After the show,Wayne and Cassandra talk and along comes Stacey,Wayne's former girlfriend(Lara Flynn Boyle). In another scene, when Wayne and Garth and playing hockey,Stacey passes by them on her bicycle. Now when Wayne's and Garth's show are moved into the Kane/Fenley studio, their first guest is Noah Vanderhoff,a video arcade chain owner. Wayne humiliates Noah by displaying placards reading "Sphincter Boy","He Blows Goats,I Have Proof" and "This Man Has No Penis". These anger Kane and Fenley, thus pulling the plug on Wayne's World. Kane also serves as a producer for Cassandra's music career and videos. To make matters worse,Garth and Cassandra are angry with Wayne. So Wayne's World continues and Cassandra and Crucial Taunt appear and perform on the show. Frankie Sharp(Frank DiLeo who once managed Michael Jackson),head of Sharp Records, watches this performance on television in the limousine he is riding in,goes to the taping location and gives Crucial Taunt, including Cassandra,a six-album deal! Wayne's friendship with Garth and his relationship with Cassandra is renewed.

Summary: The ultimate movie for a dude
Review: Wayne's World is a classic whether you are a jock or a total toothpick architecture nerd, but when you truly understand all the jokes, and you like inside joke humor, it is the ultimate party experience. I saw it once, then I saw it again and again. Me and my friend, who is a brother to me, saw it together, and we have memorized Garth's routine for his rendition of Foxy Lady, by Jimi Hendrix. Wayne's World is a great time. My review sounds funny, I know, but Wayne Cambell and Garth Algar can have that effect on people. So if you are just seeing it once, or watching it over and over as a religion, Wayne's World is definately a move worthy of notoriety and fame. Just buy it already, it is just that good of a comedic time!

Summary: Always a Classic
Review: "Wayne's World" will always be a classic - I never get tired of it! Dana Carvey and Mike Myers make this movie better than ever with their always-funny characters Wayne and Garth. They're 2 characters that are totally original and absolutely hilarious - the storyline is clever and I guarantee it will generate plenty of laughs. I am a Dana Carvey fan myself, his comedy is great, and believe me this movie won't let you down!

Summary: A Classic
Review: This movie never gets old. I first saw this movie when I was about 10 years old and only laughed at certain parts because I didn't understand most of it. But even then it was hilarious to me. But then once I saw it and understood more of the jokes I couldn't stop laughing. This movie is he funniest SNL spin-off yet. Actually to think of it, it's the only good one. This movie is so funny it's hard to only watch it once. But for those who have not seen it yet: It is somewhat different from the SNL skits. Those who may think that this movie is "stupid humor" or filled with mainly sex jokes like the SNL skits, you will be sadly dissapointed. This movie's humor mainly comes from random things just popping up. But yet it still has its fair chare of "babe" jokes as it did on SNL. But it is definatly not stupid humor like a Chris Farely/David Spade movie or an Adam Sandler movie. It is more of an "inside joke" movie that you will laugh even more when watching it and reciting the lines with friends. I own this movie on VHS and DVD. Its an instant classic. Buy it.

"Wayne's World" runs for about 90 minutes. It is rated PG-13 for some sexual humor, some alcohol abuse, and language.

Summary: Wayne's World
Review: The ultimate hang out and rock comedy, Wayne's World! This ia one of the really good SNL spinoffs that I personally was very glad that it hit the screen. Mike Myers (Wayne) and Dana Cravey (Garth), are hilarious in this and it shows that this sketch was easily one of the best on SNL ever!

It's a non stop rib shattering comedy from start to finish! Myers and Carvey are totally awesome and let's face it, Tia Carrera is hot! PLus with a little bit of parody (T2) and making fund of themselves a little (the sponsor scene).

WAYNE'S WORLD is totally excellent and of course having a pretty good soundtrack doesn't hurt either. This is really funny. You'll be laughing the whole way though! Pick this up and also heck out WAYNE'S WORLD 2 nad from Myers, check out the AUSTIN POWERS series. Enough said, it's Austin Powers! And if you're looking for any other good SNL spinoffs, check out NIGHT AT THE ROXBURY, CONEHEADS and BLUES BROTHERS.

Review: Wayne's world will always be a classic in my book. I am so glad to see it on dvd. I just wish it had some Wayne's World clips from Saturday Night Live, commentary not just by the director, Penelope Spheeris, but by Mike Myers and Dana Carvey (I know Mike was busy with Austin Powers 3 and Dana with the master of disguise, so it makes sense), and some deleted scenes. The dvd isn't really lackluser, it has an excellent 20-minute documentary on the making of Wayne's World, literally interactive menues (I think they're the dvd menues i've ever seen!). I actually think that WW2 is slightly better, but this one is as good. Highlights for me include the parody of selling out-advertisements and the cable studio's "Wayne's World" song. I am most certainly going to put the complete epic dvd set on my christmas list.
