Summary: Not just one of the guys, a trailblazer
Review: Cute film addressing one girl's determination to realize her dream as a serious writer AND be taken seriously, not just as a girl with a hot bod. Feminism in an 80's film with hip clothes and music? Indeed. A fun film with a feel-good message. Don't expect more than that and you'll enjoy it just fine.

Summary: Just one of the guys on DVD!!
Review: This movie is another great teen comedy of the 80s. Its funny, original, and its such a shame colombia/tristar re-released in 2000, BUT NOT ON DVD!?!?!? Maybe if we hound colombia/tristar for this one, private resort, and loverboy, we will get a re-release of all of them on DVD. This movie as well as the rest belong in any 80s movie fans collection! Highly recommend.

Summary: Haven't we seen this before?
Review: I just saw this movie and found it quite hysterical. There are some movies where the exact same thing happens, just different details. For anyone who has young children or siblings, the have heard of the Disney Original movie "Motorcrossed". In "Motorcrossed" a girl disguises as boy (cuts off her hair, wears baggy clothes, etc...)So she can race in a tournament. At the end of the movie her identity is revealed and the boy who's been helping her and who she's been falling in love with hates her.

Wait, where did we see this? Oh yes, In "Just one of the guys" it seems like "Motorcrossed" is a direct replica of "Just one of the Guys" with a few trivial differences. And what is even more surprising is that both Terry (Just one of the guys) and Andy (Motorcrossed) get the guy in the end. Isn't this just too good to be true?!

Without sarcasm now, I personally think this a although a little John Hughes-y, it is never the less funny and romantic. For any person who loves teenage romance movies (i.e.: Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, Can't buy me love) I am telling you see this movie. I promise you will fall in love with Terry (as a girl or a boy).

Summary: Great Movie
Review: "Just One of the Guys" is a classic 80's teen-comedy. The female lead, Terry, believes that she is being sexually discriminated against by her newspaper advisor and decides to enter another school and pretend to be a guy. Once there she makes an enemy out of a popular macho bully and a friend out of a somewhat dorky, yet still extremely attractive, young boy. Throughout the course of the movie she attempts to set up her fiend with the bully's girlfriend. Terry, herself, gets hit on by an overly aggressive girl and ends up dumping her boyfriend when she realizes she's in love with her new found friend. The movie is chock-full of humor, runs smoothly, and has fast-paced and witty dialogue.

Summary: Still Hilarious After 15 Years
Review: I can't believe not enough people remember how hilarious this movie is. This one is about a teenage girl who is set on proving that just because you're beautiful does not mean you have a brain and during her experiment as posing as "just one of the guys" she meets the former geek turned hottie. And you will love the hysterical lines from "Terry's" brother, Buddy, who keeps it real.
Once you purchase it, recommend it to others! I am so happy I found this on Amazon because they don't even sell this movie in stores. I also recommend the film "April Fool's Day." You'll see a couple of familiar faces.

Summary: Buddy Rules!!!
Review: The best part of this movie, and the best reason to buy it, is sex-crazed Buddy. The perfect hormone driven teenager, Buddy spends the entire movie harassing women in his pursuit to lose his virginity. The rest of the characters are OK too.
