Rating: Summary: Dr. Doolittle Review: This is an amazing, family-oriented picture. To see animals talk and do the things they do. I really enjoyed this movie and is looking forward to a sequel to the movie. Eddie is a fabulous actor.
Rating: Summary: Very Funny, Great Classic Storyline Review: This is one funny movie - without the trashmouth stereotype Eddie Murphy flavour.I don't know if I was in silly mode when I first watched this one, but I was crying whilst laughing. The dog plays a classic role, with the voice overs bringinga fantastic laugh. If you need something to pick you up, or plain want a good, and reasonably clean, laugh, then this is for you. Eddie plays Dad (Doolittle) and ends up helping a tiger that no one else cared about. A good, and very funny family flick.
Rating: Summary: We Loved It and I'm not your Momma! Review: I don't care what any of those fops say about not buying this video. It's hilarious, my daughter just loves it and when she calls for me, Momma, I say, I'm not your Momma! - ala the scene where the egg hatches - at which she falls down in uproarious laughter and has become a big family joke. I think Eddy Murphy is hilarious and I couldn't live without that Guinea pig! Indelible! Shut the hell up about Rex Harrison. No one cares. My life is too serious all day to not be able to chill out with a fun movie once in a while.
Rating: Summary: This movie is an insult to the original! Review: This movie is an insult to the original version. When movies star rude, obnoxious people like Eddie Murphy instead of Rex Harrison who sings and dances happily, there is definately something wrong! Stores need to sell the original movie instead of this horrible imitation.
Rating: Summary: Pretty Good Review: It was pretty funny, especially with Chris Rock doing that goofy little guinea pig guy. I absolutely LOVE Kyla Pratt and Raven-Symone. They were good. Eddie Murphy--good as usual. They kind of made too many ***-jokes for me, though. Otherwise--it was pretty good.
Rating: Summary: Got to see this one again. Review: Eddie Murphy (The master of Special effects made Comedy re-makes like "The Nutty Proffesor") stars as Dr. John Dolittle in the re-make of the family classic. John Dolittle has special ability to talk to animals, But he hasn't talked to animals ever sense childhood, years later, he starts to talk with animals again, as he be-friends a dog called Lucky and helps sick animals who need his attention. (Funniest scene: The doctor sticks his hand up the Dog's bottom)
Rating: Summary: do not buy stick with the orginal !! Review: I hated this movie , it was boring ,dull and stupid.Spend your money on the original movie with this movie was based on with Rex Harrison!!!It was so boring I slept though most of it!!!if you these so called "family" movies then by all means buy it!!!wonderful for families that only watch this type of junk!!!
Rating: Summary: Hilarious, Very Good performance from Murphy. Review: Having seen this film now about 8 to 10 times I found it funnier every time. The script is very funny and there are some excellent one-liners, like when Murphy is in his car with the Guinea pig and it says ' You scared he crap out of me - see there it is!'.
Rating: Summary: Any movie that has a snotty guinea pig is a winner! Review: I know guinea pigs, and let me tell you, Chris Rock had the male guinea pig attitude down to a tee! They are the most ornery little devils! I laughed through this entire movie!
Rating: Summary: IT WAS AWESOME! Review: I LIKED THE PART AT THE BEGINNING WHERE THE DOG COMES OUT AND SAYS "WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING YA` BONE-HEAD!
