Summary: About Nothing
Review: Fresh of watching "About A Boy" I felt like Hugh Grant could do no wrong, so despite less than stellar reviews I decided give "Two Weeks Notice" a shot, which was a mistake. While there are some comedic moments, this a romantic comedy and Bullock and Grant have NO chemistry. In most of the scenes they seem only mildly aware of eachother mostly focusing on thier actions. As a result, I never felt like they should be together. Further, the plot seems to jump around. Right after getting hired, the plot leapfrogs to weeks later where Grant and Bullock are now supposed to be chumy, but I never felt it. THey seem to be tired of eachother and their action forced by the plot's simple-minded purpose. After his great romantic comedies of the 1990s, this a huge step down for Grant and even for Bullock, who mostly makes bad movies anyway. This is not worth your time because it clearly wasn't even worth the actors full attention.

Summary: A Funny Romantic Comedy
Review: This is a romantic comedy that's actually funny! Both stars are very good. No one can touch Hugh Grant for this type of role. Like every other romantic comedy, its predictable, but so what?

Summary: long long movie
Review: Movie started out promising and then went nowhere, but seemed to last a long time.

Summary: Ok
Review: I saw this one in the theater then again on DVD. It is a nice romantic comedy but did not leave a long lasting impression. Just ok.

Prefer Sandy in While You Were Sleeping and Hugh in Bridget Jones or the classic Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Summary: Great Movie for a Chill Night
Review: I was home on Christmas Break, and my mom had recently added On Demand to our cable system. I was up late one night and I saw TWN listed as one of the movies I could watch. So I clicked on it. I started watching and I laughed for the first ten minutes!!

I decided that I wanted my roommate at school to watch with me so I started the movie over and watched again from the beginning taping it this time. This movie was quite hilarious! Hugh Grant and Sandy Bullock had great onscreen chemistry. Hugh's accent is to die for!!!!!

Of course this is a typical type of story, but it was a pleasant rehash to view. I am not the type who likes ultra-predictable romances (which most are), but this one is great!

Rent it today!

Summary: A waste of time
Review: Have you ever rented a movie, and about 10 minutes into (sometimes less, sometimes more) realized that you had just wasted your movie? Well, thats exactly what I did with this movie. This movie I guess was trying to be a comedy, but was not funny at all. The lovestory part is nothing new and terribly borring. Just a waste of time in general to watch this. I can't see why people would rate it over 2 stars!!!!

Summary: Bad bad bad!
Review: I did not enjoy this movie. Sandra just does not fit the part. Hugh is great, as he always is though. Maybe you'd like to see it because of that. I'd stay away from this one. See About a Boy instead or something.

Summary: I'd have to be paid a lot of money to see this movie again
Review: Although the sound went out several times during the movie and we were all given a free ticket to come back to see it, nothing made me want to see it. I thought Sandra and Hugh showed no chemistry what-so-ever. They were not realistic as a couple and I didn't like either one's characters. I went to see it thinking, "How can a Hugh Grant/Sandra Bullock movie be bad." Well, they answered it for me. I could of thought of a million things better to do with my time. I will flip the channel when I see it on cable.

Summary: Quite good!!
Review: I thought that this film had a rather unusual storyline, although the outcome of the relationship between the main characters was quite predictable! I did enjoy it, and found myself cracking up.
Good points: Along with all the character flaws both Wade and Kelson have, the film is careful to develop redeemable character traits along the way as well, making both characters human rather than unsalvageably neurotic. Very human in-fact, I know people in real life like these two. They're also careful to show that both characters do actually have similar interests in life so it's not completely head-scratching to see them falling for each other. Oh and the romance is never sappy, so for those who are a fan of subtle expressions, furtive glances and baffled reactions, this is the film for you. Bullock and Grant might be playing their usual roles but those roles are definitely very compatible, at least in this film. Chemistry is present and makes the film work.
So by all means go out and buy this film. I think that if you're into romantic comedies, you'll love this one.

Summary: A cute film, although too many like it
Review: All right, I said it. I liked this film, it was cute. Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock have great chemistry. Yet there have been A LOT of "Cute" films that have come out that all have the same sort of plot. Two people work together and fall in love. Take Alex and Emma for example. You might just want to stick to renting this one instead.
