Summary: I love this film -- please re-release on DVD!
Review: This is most likely my all-time favorite movie ... a perfect mix of weepy and funny that speaks volumes about family relationships. Please throw us a bone here and release it on DVD. :(

Summary: The REAL DEAL about going home for the holidays
Review: This movie has become one of my all time favorites. Not your typical holiday film, but oh so full of insights so rarely spoken of. Holly and Jodie seem to really "get" just what its like for some of us to leave big city life and go back home for a visit. As much as we love them, sometimes its difficult to believe we came from those people we call "family". They really MUST re-release this film. Hilarious!

Summary: Just plain funny. PLEASE RE-RELEASE (ON DVD)
Review: Lots of laughs carefully mixed with poignant reminders of what "family" means. I could really relate to the main character. Most all of the actors' performances were excellent.

Summary: Home for the Holidays
Review: Hilarious holiday film about classic troubled family with a little romance thrown in. Compelling soundtrack particularly Nat King Cole's The Very Thought of You... As a therapist working with recovering alcoholics and addicts, I find this fresh, honest view of family issues and the reasons why we DON'T go home for the holidays a film I will return to year after year - that is, if I can find it for sale somewhere.

Summary: Re-Release, Please!
Review: We enjoy watching a family that may be more dysfunctional than ours. Although any family can relate to some, if not all, of the characters on some level. The crazy aunt is an instant favorite. A must see for any family around the holidays! Please bring it back for everyone to enjoy.

Summary: Please re-release this video!
Review: We first saw this movie about two years ago. It is one of our favorites during the holidays. Sure wish we had taped it one of the multiple times it was on TV last year.

I think Jodie Foster did an excellent job directing. We all have those certain family members we can relate to in this movie! I guess we'll be renting it this year.

Summary: Home For The Holidays
Review: I Love This Movie! It is a "howling" good time right from the start. What a better way to portray what we all experience around the holidays-family obligation. It is a must see holiday movie and is right in there with the other holiday classics....White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life.

Summary: PLEASE RE-RELEASE SOON!
Review: Family holiday dysfuncntion at it's best. At sometime we have all had moments and watching this movie along with a sense of humor can help you face your own holidays with a smile. A movie we have always enjoyed. Please bring it back!

Review: If you, too, come from a dysfunctional family, you'll laugh yourself silly identifying your crazy old aunt, uptight sister and other embarrassingly familiar relatives in this one. They put the 'fun' in dysfunctional... and also show that love can be found there, too, if you look for it.
